I like many have been hobbying longer than I ever thought I would and think I’m at the end of the road. In my prime could book an hour and easily be able to hit a doubleheader. Nowadays just not happening and with the state of the game at the price point many charge I find it hard to justify. I had a “date” yesterday with a provider I had seen many years ago and was excited to catch up. Had a decent time yet not as well as anticipated. Never was act 2 initiated and I just felt like, damn is this worth it anymore.  

Maybe I’m getting too old or maybe I’m not finding the right ladies. Will take a break and rethink this yet again just wondering I can’t be the only one who second guesses themselves after-the-fact.

The circumstances you've outlined here are not only specific to you, they are probably completely different than many other people's circumstances. I'm not nearly at the point in this game that you are, and while I may have some scattered regrets on some parts of it here and there, overall, I keep doing it because of the satisfaction I get out of it. I have no widespread nor all-encompassing regrets, and definitely not along the lines you've mentioned.

with age.  When I got to the point that I couldn't finish two rounds in a one-hour session, I started booking 90 minutes, then eventually on to two hours, which is where I'm at now.  Problem solved.  I still book one hour when seeing a new provider for the first time, but I know going in that it's only going to be one round.  Nearly all of my repeat sessions are for two hours.

I get that way a few times per year and I take an extended break. I don't come back until I am dying for a date. You are definitely not the only one who second guesses themselves. 95% of the time I have either a great, or at least good time. When I have a string of dates that aren't the best, that is usually a sign I need that aforementioned hiatus for only then will you know if the hobby had truly passed you by. You describe me to a T… when I first started doing this, I had a lot of fun, sometimes I could go five to six times in a night, but now I be lucky to bust one nut, I keep asking mysel, am I getting to old for this?no matter how beautiful the lady  is ,I don’t enjoy it like I use to, I have slowed down a lot,especially since the prices keep going up!

Think about a young hot-shot 22 year old pitcher who throws 95 MPH heat over the plate and is racking up 20-win seasons.

 
But after a few years, the elbow is screaming "no mas", and his speed to slowing down.   Does he just toss in his glove and find greener pastures......or, get a good sinker, knuckle, slider, or other tricky pitch that gets him back on top?

 
This is what I faced starting about 15 years ago.   Now, instead of trying to get two pops in 1 to 2 hours by getting the first one off in the first 30 minutes or less, I do the edging thing to prolong things for the whole session and culminate with a big orgasm towards the end of the session.   I'm very happy with that result.   After all, the ride is at least as important as the destination.

 
Of course, with overnights, I can come multiple times:   Once on the initial round, another at bed time, and finally the wake-up call.

Sounds much like Stephen Strasburg. Lately he has been on IL pretty much the entire season nursing his arm from his mansion in San Diego.

I do the same. I tell the provider upfront that I'm only going once during our hour of playtime, so we can take our time and enjoy each other. It removes the pressure of trying to go twice which produces a much more satisfying experience.

As I slow down BCD, I am planning to become a MLB pitcher next season. (I'll have to replace my splooge ball with a good spit ball.)

I've been seeing providers, since I was in my mid-40s or so and I turned 65 this past year.  My sessions are totally different than they were in my younger days.  MSOG are rare, if I book an hour or even 2 hrs sometimes.  Since I'm more of a part-time hobbyist nowadays, I tend to enjoy the longer dinner dates with providers that I know.  We start out BCD, then head out to dinner, then back to the room for dessert.  Having the extra time to recharge during dinner makes a difference, but as I get older, I find myself enjoying the journey, just as much as the final destination.  So, I have no regrets even if MSOG don't alway happen.

I'm an older cat and enjoy interacting with the girls I'm seeing, from the knock on the door, the sex and kick back time, to the farewell at the door!
    I am happy to be able to get my one shot in a session and I don't worry about a second one!
I don't know how old you are, but if you aren't happy or enjoying the sessions, why would you spend money to be unsatisfied and have regrets after a session?
    That's when you should be grinning from ear to ear, even if it's behind a mask, lol!
I say be glad you get one shot in, there's a lot of guys that either can't get it up or get that one shot off!

Ain't gonna happen when you get north of 40. Just be glad you can still play at your older age. I'm way past my 40's and can still enjoy playing. My frequency has slowed down. So I have to save up my energy to make the most of my playtime at my older age. Regrets? I have no regrets. I have to adjust the way I play at my age to get the maximum enjoyment.
