Thank you very much, Greywolf, for expressing what I'm sure many of us feel.  Please, everyone, post here on the National Discussion Board your messages on topics of interest to people beyond your local area.

It's possible that the rest of the country, at least as far as the TER community is concerned, doesn't truly recognize the degree of heartfelt support that exists.

It is unfortunate that the vast majority of the posts containing the feelings & emotions of individual members have been on the L.A. board.  To everone else, & most particularly to those in NYC who are likely the most affected by the heinus events of 9/11/01... the dearth of posts appearing both here & on your local board do NOT mean you're not in our thought & hearts every minute since the first of those cowardly acts took place.

PLEASE...read the many threads that have been posted there (in LA) to know the degree in which we understand your losses.

The only real "heroes" in this tragic series of events have been the firemen & police in your city who risked their lives without hesitation for only the slim possibility of saving others.  And most defintely those passengers aboard the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania because they overpowered the cowardly hijackers long enough to ensure that the plane could be "safely" crashed without loss lf life beyond these on board....& to those other passengers who (probably under the circumstances) supported the action.

Anyone who has ever served this country by a tour of active duty in the military (regardless of branch & regardless of combat) will surely understand.  To others, only an attempt at explanation can be offered, probably leaving only wonder & puzzlement in its place.  OK by me...I know where I've been, where I am, & why I will suppose you (thusly all of us) until the end...regardless of what that end might be.

Peace...Love...Support

Sure...here on the "left coast" we have a few who are seemingly anxious to blame the U.S. for what has happened (old effin story isn't it?) & they while they may be individually more vocal than the "silent majority", they ARE the minority by a large degree, the protesters/apoloogists amount to no more than the typical 2%.  Servicemen (sorry, & women) will understand what this phrase means.  And for those to those to whom the phrase refers...you never will understand, for you haven't yet become acquatinted with the slightest a clue of what duty, respomsiblity, reciprocation, & unncondtional love are all about.

So for NYC & everyone else who might be feeling it, stay tuned...you're not nearly as isolated & alone as it might seem at the moment.  An entire nation, with but few unfortunate exceptions, are completely behind you & totally supportive.  Your fate, your loss, your pain, your questioning "why?" are shared...not only by all of us in the U.S. but abroad as well.  It's OUR NATION, regardless of the geography & regardless of how we or our ancesteors may have arrived.  This common bond creates a common unity that only idiots would attempt to deny.  This is a lesson learned in the past by other of our enimies..apparently today's geneattion didn't take heed.  Oh but they will....they DEFINTELY WILL.

Yes, there are a few unfortunate exceptions who, if push ever should really come to shove, would likely find themselves lacking in cojones.  Ya know the type I'm sure...only can offer warpped opinions (in some cases really warpped).

Don't ever doubt for a moment that the entire nation is with you....we are, all of you---100%!!  What happens to any of us happens to all of us!! We know that, we accept that....and we wouldn't have it any other way!!!

But PLEASE--PLEASE!!  Don't assign blame to an entire group  people...that's as wrong as Tuesday's attacks were.  Don't lower yourself to thelevel of those who, have so violate d tyoud  If we could somehow stop & look at everything objectively then everyone would surely have to realize that we're all the same that thin veneer surface.  And how much sense does it make to have so many years of emnity & killing over a stupid 1/32inch (if that much) layer of skin????  Sorry people (nah, not really) but to those who think this way...Hitler's attempt/concept of a  master race is more realistic.  Don't go off half-cocked people...it's only said to ilsusatrate a point about collective stupidity.  Enough to go around I think!!

... and for me, I picked an angel card today, asking that it speak to me of what I/we are going through. The card I chose was "Awakening." The quote is from Matri Vani:
"Throughout the twnety-four hours abide in the awareness of the Presence of God. Then only can there be hope of Realization. Who can foresee at what moment He may choose to reveal Himself? This is why one must keep wide awake."

"SLEEPERS AWAKE! Each of us has a different concept of what it means to be awakened. The essence of what we all seek is divine love and freedom from pain and suffering. Remliel is the angelic awakener whose goal is to bring you to God-consciousness and union with your Eternal Self. He supplies whatever you need to fight the battle between light and illusion, the flesh and the spirit. As you awaken to the wealth of feeling and wisdom within, a mighty surge of passion reveals your Divine Plan. Feelings of love, sensuality, gratitude and joy are revived with such intensity that your previous consciousness would not have thought it possible."

Amen. And so be!  xo Faye Desiree
