some civvy jobs pay hundreds a day but
not many civ jobs pay thousands a day. even parttime, highly likely more from providing.

but if they can find a sugar daddy like inicky, they won't even have to work. :)

Then I quit, regrouped and now have couple of other business ventures.

Being a companion allows two "must have" for starting out your own businesses:

cash flow and time flexibility.

Dear Ms. Sanders:
Although you job as an adult companionship professional is considerably more lucrative than you hospital job, I was wondering why wouldn't you keep a mainstream profession for the benefits as well as for tax purposes. Thus this would make it easier for you to buy certain things over time for your large investments and if you had to use a bank at least they could see the income easier and would give you loans and mortgages easier as well.
Also would you have to behave differently for tax purposes and make sure that you would pay quarterly and the like? Not that I would want to be that personal but I am sure that your accountant would give you advice that might be a bit different than those who would be in the mainstream economy because in your case it would be primarily cash that your compensation would manifest itself in. However certain things might be easier to justify if your mainstream income would be closer or rival your underground income. Just a thought.

In a number of threads on this page, providers have mentioned that they also have another line of work.  As a result, I'm wondering how many of you do, compared to those of you who are full-time providers?  (I wonder how many hot women I've seen at work were also providing on the side?) If you care to, also enlighten me as to how much of your income comes from your civvie job vs. providing?
And, no, I'm not writing a book, just curious.

But damn good question, though. I know of ladies that do have other means, and some this is it. Some have kids they have to care for, some don't. Have SOs that help, some don't.

It'd be interesting to see the replies, hopefully not under alias'.

When I first got into providing I kept a day job working in a hospital and also went to college. Even while doing that the larger portion of my income came from providing. I think I kept the day job because it made me feel normal and living more mainstream. Now after re-entering the business after several years in the civie world, I only provide and 100% of my income comes from that. I enjoy it more without the pressures of another job as well I am free to travel whenever I want.

I have a pretty bad ass job, that most men would be envious of!   I'm in sales and so, my real job has it's busy and slow seasons.  My  hours are flexible during the weekend.   I make ends meet with my real job, but I LOVE it.  There's nothing like loving your job!

Come to think of it, I have two bad ass jobs!  This and my other "real" one!

Love going to work,

Laina

The sugar mama part was true at one point though. Of course nobody would believe that unless they're drunk...  Neither do I.  :D

However when I first started I did have a regular job customer service. The company closed the whole building 800 people out of work at a time where jobs were becoming not too readily available.I switched to providing full-time and have been ever since.I have went to college in this time received a degree but have not utilized my degree. The funny thing when I tell some guys I went to school for the legal field they look at me with this look "why are you providing?"because I enjoy it is what I tell them.I have time to use my degree but for now providing is what pays my bills and has paid me very well for years.

Now that I am independent it is even better for me I have more control over my time and finances.

Not blood related, just one of my bruthas and a biz partner. Gets on my ass to come and spend time with him and his family.

Wanna turn me onto this bar you work at, thru PM of course, so that way when I go I can make arrangements, if it behooves you? ;)

I have both a civvie job and am in school, so I'm far from full-time in this biz. It's a hell of a juggling act sometimes, but I want to have all three in my life right now, so I make it work!

My civvie job pays enough for all my regular, day-to-day expenses, but isn't enough to allow me to save and invest ... or pay tuition. ;) That's what my income from this part of my life goes to.

I find myself sometimes (with rather increasing frequency around the time of midterms and finals, haha...) wishing I had either a single job or just school.

But on the other hand, a lot of my fellow students also work two jobs and have classes, but because their pay isn't so high in one job, have to put in way more hours in one/both. I try to stay thankful that I have the freedom and the ability to have this as my "second job", with its relatively low hours and high pay, instead of toiling away for minimum wage or just above. It's difficult sometimes, but it could be a helluva lot worse!
