Terrorists are cowards

To Osama and his followers:

Be brave and come out of hiding.  You will save many lives and be regarded as heros. Don't be cowards and hide or many innocent
lives will be lost.

Allah will be proud if you do the brave thing.  Prove that you are not the cowards that the world thinks you are.

It is ironic that one of the richest men in the world hides behind terrorist acts designed to further his wealth at the
expense of his brothers and sisters.

You will be treated more fairly than the innocent victims of your acts.

Again, be brave--not cowards.

Just got back from L.A. yesterday, and yes I have used the Dulles-LAX corridor when flying  which did send waves of panic through me while going through the list of " What If's". As most, I felt enraged when I got the call from home in my hotel at about 6:30PST. I told my friend on the other end " We need to Go Bomb Every F$%^&%ng country that has ever threatened or hurt us in the past". But then, like most, I calmed down and started to reflect while watching CNN. One news report showed a picture of a suspected hijacker that was on the plane that hit the World Trade Center's North Tower. It was a good looking man walking in what looked like a zoo, and on each hand was a child. One was a boy of about 11 and the other was a little girl of about 3 or 4. They were beautiful, all smiling and looking like they were enjoying themselves. It made me very sad and  almost to the point of tears looking at this family and thinking " My God man, Could you have been so brain washed, that you not only even thought to do something like this, but went ahead full force, not only killing others, but yourself as well? You would actually rather do this, than watch these beautiful children grow up?" The kids are probably Americans as well, considering the fact the men who are thought to have been the hijackers lived in both Canada and the U.S. for long periods of time. Which brought up another question. Like most children who are born in North America by foreign parents, they will more than likely take up "American way of Life and Thinking". Will these children understand why their father did this? Will they condone it " For the Cause" and embrace it like their father did? Or will they be ashamed ( or made to be ashamed) by their peers? I know at this time sympathy for the terrorists is very unpopular and very unpatriotic, but that picture of a Dad and his kids at the zoo made me very emotional and made me think, No, these guys were not veiled, unseen, hermit like people who only came out after dark walking around in the shadows while conspiring to kill 1000's of innocent people. They had lives filled with love and happiness, which they chose to end because of fanatical beliefs. On another note, there was another story of a muslim lady in New York who told the story of a sick fuck who called the Mosque's daycare center saying that he would " Paint the City with their children's blood". Her reaction was that if this is what the reaction will be by Americans, than "the Terrorists have won". This is my sentiment as well. We are NOT Judge Nor Jury. It is NOT up to us to do investigations nor to hand out punishment. To hurt others because of heritage, religion or race is very UNAMERICAN and very EVIL indeed.Perhaps, this more of a time than any other for Tolerance.
