Though I have always understood “monger” to mean “seller,” I have seen it used here to mean “enthusiastic consumer.” I realize that usage defines and that dictionaries follow, so the dictionaries I consulted may simply not yet have caught up. Anyone have documentation as to whether the definition has shifted or is shifting? This wouldn’t be the first time a word ending up meaning the opposite of what it meant when it started out.

Welcome,  it took me a little long to come up with what I think it stands for and I may be incorrect;  whore monger?  And that has been adopted as a badge that some proudly wear.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

OK, whatever.  We're both established hobbyists, so we agree to disagree.  Our opinions and posts aren't going to cause any damage...if anything, they are just going to be points of amusement.

As for the term "monger", again, whatever.  There are some who find it offensive, others not.  End of day, let's not get up in nomenclature.   We're here to get laid, and help each other other in finding the best providers.  At least I always thought so...

As for being a pedantic putz, take small solace in not being anywhere near being in the same category of pedantic putz as posters like Jake or Cheezy. I don't even remember calling you a pedantic putz, but it most definitely sounds like something I would say. It doesn't appear that you are holding a grudge over it, so kudos to you for not taking dumb shit said on a fuck board to heart like some people do. lol

Whereas hobbyist seems to be the preferred descriptor for those who see indy providers, monger is widely used as a descriptor for those who enjoy partying at legal brothels, and is short for whoremonger.
