Could we have some discussion about the registration requirement for providers on these boards?  NOTE TO STAFF - if any of this content crosses sensitive borders, please delete the whole post.

For us in non-LA cities, it is now difficult to ask the community for info.  For instance, a post like "Hey have you seen the new girl XXXX on eros? She looks like fun" seems to get deleted by the moderator with the ubiquitous "any provider's website that is referenced must be listed/registered..."

I imagine there are some good reasons for this policy designed to protect us hobbyists - but they aren't readily apparent to my admittedly impaired brain.  From my perspective, the internet allows any individual to get her message out to the masses.  TER gives us a chance to share info openly (I know, sometimes false postings/reviews occur but it is a price of free exchange).  Initially, this policy may be stifling our ability to engage in discussion about the objects or our desires.

Your comments/napalm blasts are welcomed. :o)

It is a grey line.  Sometime there is a legitimate question "anyone have info on xxxx" other times this is used to promote a provider. (someone logs in, asks a question, then logs in another a different name and answers "She is awesome!")

Sometime, the provider has asked not to be mentioned by TER.  In this case we also delete the request.  Many times I will PM the person who made the request and tell them that the person has been delisted.

Either way, this does not fall under the new rules.  The only restriction added is if a provider would like to link to her own site then it needs to be part of site reviews.  If she links to her reviews or an escort mall then there is no restriction.

Hope this helps clear the air.
