usually when a provider has a ton of reviews, you can count on it, but i recently had an experience with a provider that has pages of excellent reviews, but my experience was much to the contrary- VERY MUCH SO-

i have not reviewed her but someone else gave her a less then steller review- i found out because she prank called me several times with references to the session and the review (claiming to be a different provider?)

any similar experiences?.....i want to give her the bad review she deserves to protect the boys, but she is such a psycho it may not be worth it.

To answer your question, I don't have any similar experiences. I do, however, have several reasons why I feel you should write the review.

First, you're not the only one who has had a less than positive experience. There's at least one more. If there are others, your second review may cause them to be written as well. This may show a change in her behavior pattern. I, for one, would want to see the trends. If a provider used to get 8's and 9's and is now getting 6's and 7's (or worse) I'd like to know it.

Second, she's prank calling you. It wasn't clear from your post, but what I read is that she thinks you wrote the less than stellar review. Either she, or one of her associates, is bothering you because of it. This is really unprofessional and I'd want to know about it.

Third, (really an extention of reason 2) you claim she's being a psycho about it. Now, there are three sides to every story (yours, hers, and the truth), but I absolutely, positively, want to know if someone is behaving erratically. I am professional, considerate, and conduct myself as gentleman should. I expect the same in return (except for the gentleman part :)). I wouldn't see someone I couldn't trust to behave appropriately.

This lady is only acting like a psycho on the phone...and she is guessing it will intimidate you, because she know you could affect her business.  It is a much larger step to be a REAL psycho...a step very few women will take when it could draw attention to their livelihood... especially if other people know who she is.

Having said that, back to your original opening line...yes, TER is the bomb in terms of reliablility.  Nothing can be 100%, but TER is as close as you are going to find in this business, that is for sure, and it is because of honest reviews and good providers (the bad ones go back into the woodwork).  Keep it up, folks.

You have made several fine points Slimroot.  In addition I would like to know because I would not feel comfortable giving any information to a provider who is willing to use it to make prank calls or demonstrating other erratic behavior.  I would not trust the discretion of such a lady.  I think this would  be a big issue with guys who have SO's.

I agree with Slimroot: while there are multiple sides to any story, I would want to know who you had this experience with. We all rely on TER for honest information. If a provider's services are getting worse, then we have an obligation to each other to post. And not just to each other, but to the many excellent providers whose good service is honestly reflected in the reviews. If someone has an experience like yours, he may not trust reviews in the future, possibly depriving good providers of deserved business.

So, go ahead and post it. Just be honest and you'll be doing the right thing.
