With no cities on the ad boards and no photo only thread started today, are you guys and gals renewing your VIP memberships, or waiting it out to see how TER responds to FOSTA?

If you're going to be up for renewal soon, it's worth it to wait a bit and see if the whole thing goes down in flames.

I am going to sit back and wait to see if ter put back the ad section..If they don't I will cancel my vip.....The U.S is starting to feel like a communist country...Kisses sexxylinda

The only reason I write reviews is for the VIP benefits and I've been reticent about giving the site my credit card information.

Yes, it can be paid with gift cards. Did that a few weeks ago.

Awesome, thanks.  I'd rather just pay for membership than write another graphic review.  I always feel dirty afterwards.  😉

I'm loyal to those who help me and make my life enriched, including organizations.

I hate not having the ads......but the key value of TER for me is the reviews and info exchange between the ladies and gents.

The last thread posted two days ago is still open, and many ladies continued to add new posts , some for the second time. Let the ladies know they have our support by liking as many as you can, even if there's no realistic possibility of ever meeting with them.  

Now that it's a sausage fest, with no ads, what's the point of paying?  

While posting ads was in fact free. It was the only real benefit to me personally. Now that that has been taken away. I just don't see the point in paying for the other features. I'm not the only one and several other ladies are going to delist.  Men want reviews and we want to advertise.  

For us guys, I think its very important to read reviews of someone we haven't seen before, otherwise how am I supposed to know if we would be a good match and she has the skills that I'm looking for.

I save my money for providers. Luckily I enjoy writing reviews so I don't mind spending a couple hours putting my experiences into text and getting two weeks worth of free days that way, and I do submit profile corrections of the providers I meet to earn a couple extra VIP days as well. Granted, this does mean that I spend a couple weeks without VIP access from time to time, but all it takes to fix that is booking with one of the many women I'm interested in meeting. Ultimately I'd rather not invest in a service that may disappear by next year due to FOSTA. Same thing with P411, I had a subscription to it but I let it lapse. Why pay for something that may decide to abruptly shut down? Things are too hot right now for me to spend any money on any hobbyist/provider platform.

the reviews to stay clear of ROB and other low hanging fruit. The reviews are the essential element of teR; yes the R stands for reviews.

The reviews are part of my screening. P411 and reviews are my initial requirements for me to feel comfortable about my safety.
If it goes away, I'm not sure what I will do. Guess I'll see if it happens.  

I've always used TER as a Truth Teller.  Local-board reviews (now history) waxed poetic about communication, greetings, smiles, etc., but usually I had to double check on TER to find out some things important to me. Particularly valuable for traveling providers.

You never needed VIP to see the ad boards or the photo board, or to read or post on any discussion board for that matter! VIP is for reading reviews and using PMs which still works very well.

I would be willing to bet that hobbyists like myself browse the ad boards then look at a provider's reviews before any consideration.

Understood. With the ad and photo boards going away I was starting to wonder if the reviews would be the next thing to go. But I see the photo board is back up now. Seems like they'll find a way to keep the reviews going, which I agree is what makes VIP worth the investment.

I send TER a message on this and they told me that it was in litigation. We can’t see who is coming to town or see the girls that live in our town or state. I asked for a refund and they said no. I think this could be the end of TER. I hope not, because I like their forum.

They’re in litigation right know so, you no longer can see the reviews nor can you see what ladies are in your state and there’s no refund.

You most definitely CAN read the reviews and that is what this site is all about. The ads are a free feature that TER offers and has nothing to do with your membership fees.

The mutual agreement is it's the reviews that matter for most of you guys. Let's pretend I've never been here before. I get on here, somehow, because my intent is to see women. There are no ads. Just discussion groups. I see talk, talk, talk. Especially from fuckheads like me. Occasionally a lady chimes in, which is rare, cuz it's a guy's deal.  

been out of the hobby for quite awhile and just when i come back, sesta happens. just my luck.

I am not going to cancel my VIP membership, but I am not going to renew if the US ad boards are not brought back.
