i was once stalked by the ex of the new main squeeze of my recent ex. her purpose? to track down her ex. at that time i was still "in the book" so i got late night cals and she turned up at my door. eventually i was left alone but only after my place had been brgled for.... my address book, ONLY. gee i wonder who that could have been?

There are just way too many forms in which OCD can manifest itself and I’m not trying to psychoanalyze them here.

I had a date with a provider though that I suspected was an OCD victim.  She had an incall, was very fine looking and smelled like fresh out of the shower, which she was. As soon as I stepped into the incall I got my first clue as she locked and unlocked and relocked the dead bolt of the door. Suddenly I had visions of Jack Nicholson where he played the part of a freaky compulsive, obsessive guy doing the same thing with door locks. I chuckled. The bedspread was so tight as to bring back my military days of being able to bounce a quarter off it. I sat on the bed and could actually feel her grimace. When I went to freshen up, sure enough there she was smoothing out the impression of my big ass on the bedspread. I came out sat back into the same spot to watch her with door open go into the hand washing ritual and I had seen the antibacterial soap (she brought I’m sure), why longer than needed. I am saying to myself “I might have to bolt from here, this is getting too weird”.

Ironically the session went really well and we ended with a grand ole BBBJCIM, which would not have been the case from which I had previously witnessed. She did get right to making the bed when I went back to the bathroom. I could have bounced a quarter off it before leaving, decided not to push this stuff.

As I headed for the door, I was the one taking control of the locks. lol  So, it was somewhat of a weird encounter though I would see her again, and she can turn the locks 50 times with that BBBJCIM.

Anyone have a similar experience? Or, maybe this was just a dream eh? lmao

Ironically, I found…The National Institute of Mental Health estimates that more than two percent of the U.S. population has obsessive–compulsive disorder or OCD. Approximately 50% of men who have obsessive–compulsive disorder, have sexual side-effects as a result of OCD, and that 37% of men who have OCD are plagued with erectile dysfunction. I just added the men’s stats as a point of interest as well.

there are probably several people in your life who have it, and you're not aware. Why? Because they are generally very good at hiding it, because they feel a great degree of shame regarding their obsessive thoughts, and compulsive behaviors. That fact the you caught her in some behaviors, might indicate that she was having a greater degree of difficulty in controlling them than usual. The hardest OCD people to spot are the counter's, like Count Dracula on Sesame Street. He has to count everything, but most counters do it silently.

That would explain why a certain lady and I, after being walked in on because of my inattentiveness as to make sure the door was properly locked, was a little slow to get back into the groove after we got another room.

I say 'a little' because well, she's her and I'm me! ;)

But yeah, she confessed to OCD earlier on here, and I would've never thought so.

Very interesting. I should be more considerate and aware of someone else's feelings and/or quirks/condition.

Sorry. Don't know how to be PC about the topic.

who, I'm sure, many of us have been exposed to on the message boards.

As for the many OCD males that suffer from sexual dysfunction, I would speculate those "side effects" come from anti anxiety/depression drugs used to treat their "condition" that cuases those unwanted side effects.

Not in the hobby, but I briefly dated a woman who stalked me. At first it was quite pleasant running into her when least expected. But, then it became more and more frequent, and it finally dawned on me that it was no mere coincidence.

stalking has nothing to do with OCD, necessarily. similarly it is very hard to stalk someone on a message board although it can be done.

almost all of what might be labeled as stalking on a board is simply reflects that some folks tend to follow posters whose posts they appreciate. others have some themes or issues that simply are hard to resolve for one reason or another that may have nothing to do with stalking or OCD.

for instance: i'd refrain from labelling members of the "follow-me family" as having OCD. i'd also refrain from labelling the alias poster who discourages "follow-me" posts as a stalker or having OCD. i see it simply as one poster having a "shtick" that another poster dislikes.

but i do have a small story about stalking and message boards. it's also not in the hobby...

i was once surprised when someone turned up in real life very suddenly. she had moved hundreds of miles, changed jobs, etc. we started dating and at about 3-4 months into it she confessed. and a surprising confession it was......

she had gotten interested in me from following posts on a message board (on a very different topic) where she was strictly a lurker. she had gleaned info from that board about my travel plans that permitted her to check me out (unknown to me) before she decided to move.

that was long ago before i attained my current decreipitude. LOL! anyway that's how a real stalking can _start_ from a message board.

One was this lady who had recently gotten out of a mental hospital for some sort of recreational drub induced psychosis.

I went out on one date with her and that was it.

No, however, wasn't in her vocabulary. She got a little scary.

The other was one of those game-player types. I'm too naive for most games to work; so when she decided to dump me I took that at face value and moved on.

A week later I come home and she's sleeping in a freakin' tent in my yard. (I had blocked her phone # and stuff when I was dumped.)

Oh man, hell hath no fury and all that.

UCLA NPI Dept  is a great place to pick up wild women.............................................................Neuropsyhiatric  Dept ................oh those great college days

I remembered one experience when this young 19-20 yr old provider told me 'let's not wrinkle the bed cover.  She did not want to use the sheets!
Okayyyyy ... I get it! Jezz!
