I assume you're pulling my leg for my redundancies.    I give, I give. See my post at 11:31 yesterday for what caused me to ask the question.

Sweets, I assume you didn't start escorting at puberty.  The question is what you do about clients or potential clients whom you knew or acquainted with before you "came" into the business, if you have had any of them.

I you had a client come to you who you recognized from civvie life several years before, i.e. not in your current circles, how would you feel about it?  Would you cancel once you recognized him?  Would you be creeped out that he found you?

it has happened to me twice...a lil weird at first...but ONE of them was super hot...last time I saw him I was 13 years old...just a kid...still a virgin...now a seasoned pro and a pretty woman...it was pretty HOT :-)

That happened to me also.  He used to be a regional manager for a place I worked at.  So I was a little nervous that he could go back (if he wanted to) and research my name, ss#, and all that stuff.

He probably wouldn't have recognized me except I kept making conversation asking him where he worked and then made some stupid comment that I used to work for the same company and eventually we found out he used to be the rep that used to visit.

I didn't care for him then (as a rep/boss that is...)  Didn't really know him as a person, so can't really say if he was bad or not.  I was a younger girl (more than 20 years ago) at the time I first knew him but we had the meeting anyway and I think I saw him once more after that.

Had I known he was that wild back then...hmm, well I might have looked at him in a different light.  Heck...I might have even tried to seduce him.  LOL.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But in regard to now again--to me, it would depend on which fashion I knew him in.  Is this person an ex-boyfriend?  And if so, how did it end?  I might not see an ex.  Is he a schoolmate?  Workmate?  Fellow churchgoer?  Brother's friend?  Doctor?  Boss?  Subordinate?  Somebody I may have stepped all over?  Someone who may have stepped all over me?  It all depends on how we knew each other.  That's what I'd base my decision on.
One of my mid-twenties kids told me an old classmate of theirs was working in a private viewing/massage incall agency.  She wasn't a friend or anyone my kid hung out with, but they were softball team members together.  I never met her but I did go to games so she might recognize me.  I was not lusting after the girls when they were in school.  But this is a woman now, working in the business and she IS hot.
my answer is simple..NO..once I know you outside of the "hobby" world I will not see you in an appt.  So sorry Mr.Mailman or the guy that came over and hooked up my FIOS lol..and No I wont see you Billy who I knew in the 4th grade..;)
Having seen you a couple of times for delightful times within the hobby, I therefore hope I never meet you in real life. (smooch)
Funny to bring this topic up, it depends on who it is, but when it is your m.d for the past 10 years calling to try to book....noway...he was drunk but i know he knew it was me.It really freaked me out and I could never go back to him again.I also have had husband of best friends call and it is just not a road I would ever go down.
I didnt realize we had a former life or past life before escorting..
Honey, we have the same life as you - we just make alot more money-
Ciara, you and I and a few Gents know what life is like on this side and understand what for us its all about.
Remember when you were a kid and saw your teacher in the grocery store? What a shock huh, like they never leave the school, right.
Many Gents do not realize we are as normal as they are, we have friends aside from this and our lives are deeper than what they see. Its a lifestyle, even though they play here they may not understand from this side. I am sure it was not meant the way it came out. But I do agree it is an odd way to ask a question.
Sorry about the awkward question.  I understand the reluctance to mix civvie life with the business side and I have read accounts of providers here who do not want them to mix.
See my reply to Tia above.  This provider is not currently associated with my kid or me but there was an association in the past, six years ago.  The question is whether you would not want to see such a client.
I don't really have a former life per say, just some areas of my life that I choose to keep separate from other areas of my life. I go to work in the traditional sense and keep my wild debauchery off the clock. I guess I'm pretty unapproachable at work... no one even asks what I do in my spare time!
I travel a lot for work, and am often working with people I've never met before. At the same time, if I find myself with a few evenings off during my travels, I often arrange dates with gentlemen I've never met before... and on two very memorable mornings I've found myself shaking hands with a man that I'm schedules to shake bedsprings with later that evening! While I was obviously mortified, I was surprised to find the whole situation to be an incredible turn-on... I guess I'm just a dirty girl like that :)
I think it depends: on who he is, who she is and their life in between.
There are some I know with whom it would be an incredible thrill patrons could not possibly provide me. With others, there would simply be a polite cancellation.
