so on a SB site i saw a profile heading  "goddess body"  turns out woman is nearly 400 lbs ! ..what is happening to reality .. bad enough that some people  with a penis you have to call a woman,  but now Goddess turns out is the latest euphemism for fat.   if you have to use a fake word so you are not "shamed" should tell you that maybe it's you that has the problem       ya know, calling myself a handsome stud doesn't make me one.

I know you’re probably venting. I shake my head about a lot of the ads/wording and prices. Just the world we navigate. 🤷‍♂️

You’re mad because she describes herself as a goddess but uses real pictures and you disagree? Dude, don’t be so fragile. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have no problem with any lady describing herself however she wants. If she uses honest pictures, I can judge myself and feel I made an informed decision. I’m more concerned with all the ladies using fake, doctored, and old pictures that don’t fairly represent them.

And really, you had to throw in a swipe at trans women? Open your mind a little.

Nope, not the P&R Board.  TER should set up a new discussion board - "Grievance, Resentment and Complaint Board".  You can spout off about whatever is bothering you.

Claire, you hit the nail on the head and that's exactly where my mind went too!

The Venus of Willendorf is the right reference and I'd add one more layer to it. I've seen it come up repeatedly in various corners of the internet, but there's this trend where men from different cultural backgrounds are having very different reactions to the same woman's body. One man looks and says "she's fat." Another looks at the exact same woman and says "she's thick, what are you talking about." And it's not random. There are real cultural and historical reasons why certain body types read as desirable or undesirable depending on who's doing the looking.

The goddess body label isn't a euphemism. That woman understands how her body was perceived historically. And like others have said, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

And fwiw, BBW providers, porn stars, and SBs are getting booked and paid. The market is not a monolith.

Is another man's treasure. Someone is always beautiful to someone else. Who is to decide what a Goddess body is in the first place. Whatever blows your hair back, man. Live and let life.

i understand your point ..   my issue is the acceptance and celebration of morbid obesity in this country .    fine then anyone over 300 should be covered under their own insurance and not raise health care costs for all the rest of us.

i am not talking about a woman who is "thick"  or plump  ..  the woman online that caused these comments was likely over 350 and about 5'6"

and if i saw a lady i thought was perfect, i would be more comfortable here gaining 10 lbs vs losing.

oh plus that statue , the general understanding is that represented a woman being fertile and pregnant  not like that all the time.

yes i need to lose 17 lbs myself but i also do not take up 2 airline seats and complain not fitting is the airline's fault   !
yes not monolith but please how many here can honestly say they would have no issue being in a middle seat between two  "Goddesses"

ok sorry ... kinda went off there ... but just concerned about how this country's obesity problems and people pretending its ok  will effect health care and Productivity

Really????  This post is polar opposite of your OP.  Nice try to justify your thread.  What you say in your latest post may be true but none of that was mentioned earlier.  It was all about LOOKS.

....her own body as that of a goddess?

Did you know narcissism is a defense mechanism, usually the result of extreme bullying?

the "goddess" woman that inspired me for the original post was literally TWICE the size of Hygela ..  if she matched that famous painting i would not have said anything.

my whole point is that there is an major obesity problem in the US, that effects health care costs for everyone and productivity and that massive morbid obesity should not be condoned let along celebrated.

Now this is about the US having an obesity problem? And your concerns about it's impact on heath care costs? Maybe you should have a conversation with yourself and agree with yourself before you post the next time.
