Is this my Stairway to Heaven?

I was watching Adam Sandler's Hubie Halloween when this scene appeared. Adam must be a fan of yours truly.

They stole my intellectual property. Oh sure, they changed one letter to cloud the issue, but still. They are even selling tshirts! Are there any attorneys out there that will help me claim what's mine? It's probably worth 7 figures!

In lawsuits seeking restitution and damages, some attorneys will agree to work on a contingency basis.  However, this being TER, I think that anyone offering services here will ask for a deposit in advance, payable by anonymous gift card.

If you have not copyrighted your handle, then you are, as we say around the bar:  SOL.

Even more to the point, your handle probably falls under TER's copyright rights, so if anyone were to recover losses from this (and I don't think anyone will) it would be TER's owners.

 
Still not a lawyer, but undefeated nevertheless.

change, like changing the spelling, will defeat an intellectual property claim, even if it IS copyrighted.
