Taking a break vs. hanging it up

Burnout is normal in any caregiving job.  We all need to take a break from time to time to recenter and reground ourselves, but it does not mean you have to quit.  That's when it's best to have a second job or other interests to focus on.  This should never be someone's whole life.

Thinking about our Laney posting, I was wondering what ladies do to prepare for when too much cock and too much cum, and you've had enough? I've counseled a few ladies over the years to quit because they were either going through the motions or had very little if anything in the tank. It's no shame and no crime to say goodbye to this life, so what are the signs?

who can counsel me on how to run my life and career!  Especially in the department of too much cock and cum!  I was beginning to think I was going to have to figger this one out myself.  Thank you!  Thank you!

I think it differs from person to person.  I can only speak for myself. I think it’ll be time for me to go when I don’t have fun anymore. When I’ve run out of ways to suck a c*** When I’ve run out of positions to let “ it” penetrate me .When I’ve run out of nasty things to say when  I’m about to cum. When I’ve run out of nasty things to put to pen and paper and publish. When I’ve run out of orgasms and am all dried up.
Gee, I guess that’s a long time off, cause I’m loving life and my boyfriends right now!

I have no plans to retire, only because I love the variety of people, personalities and interactions I meet.  Although college educated,
the hobby itself has provided a life MBA that no University could every compare to.  In meeting these fine gents, I can only compare myself to a thirsty sponge, meeting a variety of people that no one occupation would subject me to.  Before retiring, I would just out price myself in expectation of continually meeting the same interesting gentlemen, but on a Limited scale.  Ultimately, I believe I will meet my life partner in my work.
Maybe I am spoiled, but unfortunately, the guys In my age range, just don't deliver the same mental stimulation that an older gent can.

I've been with thousands of men in my whoring life.

That's a lot of dicks, isn't?

Most guys I had were real nice, few are truly wonderful.

The wonderful ones kind of make me feel empty after they're gone.

And, when I feel empty (and needy), I wish to have ONE special person.

I think every girl in this business need to stop someday.

Even if we looooooove what we do, one day we will need to say "is time to go".

Great answer and one with some real perspective. Sometimes the lens of time does more damage to our psyches than anything physical. I do wish you well.

On a physical level it's like asking you when you'll know you've have had too much sex with women?  Considering it's pretty hard wired into our genes I can't imagine thinking, okay that's it, if I have sex one more time I think I'll just throw-up.

For the providers I would think it's less an issue of when they've had too much than when they are no longer satisfied with not having it all.  I'm sure the variety can be exciting and exhilarating, but ultimately not having a full time intimate relationship could leave them longing for more.

But obviously it's different for everyone, just as there are career bachelors there are career bachelorettes who don't want to settle down and prefer to keep the opposite sex at a distance.

Leave me and my post alone. I was brave enough to put something out there that is RARELY spoken of. Too bad you aren't mature enough to realize it happens OR to grasp the fact that I was as cool as I could be about it.

It has happened to everyone at least once and will likely happen to everyone again.

If you have more to say to me OR about me please private message me, identify yourself with a real name and let's talk it out!!!

I assure you that I do not your pity or counseling! I'd like to hear where you get off offering to people or reccommending it to people whom you've never actually met!!!

Sorry for the reference to your earlier thread and you are right, you did put yourself out there. However, I did not treat your post with disrespect and this is an open forum. That I chose to raise the subject should not be an indictment for those ladies who genuinely put their hearts and souls on the line everyday. For those "fakers" and con artists among them, I say good riddens. Grow a bit thicker skin if you put your biz in this venue. I have an opinion the same as you and don't expect you to agree with me.

However,
Ciara always has fun ;)
Many others do too apparently cause Here I am :)

I'll probably get flamed for this, but I mean NO disrespect.

Here goes...

I think a question like that on here will get very few of the answers you're looking to hear, a.k.a. answers you judge to be "honest." The posts will likely divide between providers eager to show they are having a wonderful time (with the intended message of come see me because I'm still fresh and fun) who won't post on here the moments to themselves when they think wtf am I doing this for and the providers who are so far in denial that this is actually their situation already, but who have no other means to make a living. While I am the first to admit that there are many seemingly well adjusted providers out there, I'd be willing to bet my left nut that there are many more who are seriously unhappy with their situation but need to keep their income or starve. Think of all the providers who are reviewed as being rush jobs- in and out with no emotion, who roll their eyes at you if you ask them to pretend to give a shit, and toss at towel at you the second you're done to get you out the door.

I'd say when she's so mired in this life that she feels like it's consuming, that the thought of going to work brings a scowl to her face, that she should hang up the heels and start selling off her lingerie on ebay. For that reason, I hope providers have business fronts, pay taxes and can one day collect social security because the 50+ provider is certainly a niche market, but one you may easily find yourself in if you don't make some plans for yourself now.

end rant

Again, I mean no disrespect to the many wonderfully well adjusted TER ladies there are.

Flame away.

No flaming here as you simply stated your opinion on the subject and you sincerely tried to convey a message of respect, albeit exclusive respect to those who you feel are well adjusted. However I think there are a few pitfalls in some of your statements.  You seem to equate providers who are unhappy with 'their situation' with those who provide poor service and only stay in the biz to basically survive.  I think you have connected alot of dots with either unintended or intended prejudice.  There are many people in every job and profession who are unhappy with their jobs who amazingly enough perform those jobs very well.  There is an entire science and a wealth of research dedicated to job satisfaction and job performance.  Without citing all the theories on this subject, the point is that the two notions are not always joined at the hip.  For all you know you could have had your best provider session with someone who is quite unhappy with their current 'job'.  On the other hand a poor session may have been expereinced with a provider who thoroughly enjoys this biz but for one reason or another 'she had a bad day'.  Just like us when we do our jobs!  In any case I think we should be cautious whenever we offer opinions on when someone should walk away from a position.  The variables involved in such decisions are individual and as such they cannot and should not be put blindly into easy-to-store categorizations.

I hear ya' man... I'm not going to tell a lady when to retire, but if she's offering crappy service and hates what she does, she should find something she likes better.

Also, there was a chica I met through a stripper I knew about 6 years ago who doesn't advertise, but she's got a smoking hot little bikini body. Only problem was that at 32 she was so stretched out that she could literally (I shit you not) tie her pussy lips in a BOW. That to me says maybe she should've retired.

To each his and her own, I guess.

Looks like you need to see new girls.. or possibly hang up YOUR stilettos and garters. Hahah

There are actually many of us that hold full time careers and this isn't our occupation nor our vocation...

Nope... just read the reviews of the rush jobs. I spend hours with my faves and am quite happy as are they.

If I had garters to hang up, I'd be in trouble. lol. Can I borrow yours instead? ;)

some of us are responsible for others who depend on us....some of you hate your jobs too but can't leave.

I agree totally being a provider isn't necessarily a thrill but the money is good.

Henry David Thoreau said it best: "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation".

Hey, my boss lies, and I let him get a away with it.  Why do I let him, well I have a mom, who needs a lot care and I got to eat.

Might  be  for  different reasons... maybe when  my heart can't  stop my mind thinking of my SO while   having sex with  another guy... then I think will be the  right time to stop... what I mean is when I fall in love again.
In my personal don't even have a serious SO yet... so not thinking on stopping yet :)
