SC, you know perfectly well that no matter how assinine the post is .. if it mentions words "rates" "ass" or "tits" in topic people will click  .... some know it and smile others exploit this.

I am a little pissed here.
I noticed in the T&A post below that the reads on the posts that favored RY were hugely out of proportion to the other posts in the thread.
i wanted to post this to the community.
But they denied the post.
But yet a few days ago RY in a post told the public that I was a danger. That guys would not want to trust me or be with me.

How can they choose who to censor?

When Robbin posted her rates post, I felt it was legitimate comment to respond “hey this is really an ad” as some posters did. My take was “yeah of course it is an ad but it not a prohibited one.”

        In your post, I felt you went a little beyond “hey it is an ad” and were a bit harsh. I also felt Robbin's response was equally harsh. But both of you were allowed to post, so there was no preferential moderation here.


     The T & A post also seems to me to be completely legitimate. The “you post too” much criticism is also legitimate as all the heavy posters get that periodically. But again there was no preferential moderation apparent on the board.

        Now if you posted simply that “that the reads on the posts that favored RY were hugely out of proportion to the other posts in the thread,” I can’t imagine why they would moderate that statement alone. That is simply a factually accurate statement. So I have to presume you said something else that resulted in your post getting the hook.

      But on these facts I do not see any preferential moderation so far.

     In the interest of full disclosure, I do know Robbin a little bit. I do not know Sexy Caroline.

But I felt you were a bit harsh towards Robin. You may have been right in saying that this is Robin trying to get more exposure... or not, but I felt that you took it to far. If you felt this way then I am sure that others felt that way as well. A single admonishing would have sufficed but you straight attacked her on a national board. I do not have an opinion of whether she is being favored or not, but I felt like this particular question could have been asked generally instead of naming specific names. And btw I have never even talked to Miss Young in case you were wondering. Again Carolina, I am not trying to spread ill will but overdoing the posts as you did made you look a teensy bit... catty. There are nicer ways to send a message.

I figured the best way to get my point across, since I was not allowed to post it in the thread below...was to do that.

I stand behind EVERY word I said to her. They were facts.

I do nice messages. All the time. With some people nice does not work.

I looked back a page, and many of the posts have been removed.

I did write support today to ask them about this situation, and they got back to me. Asked me to point out the threads/posts...but I told them to just forget it. But I thanked them.

And yes..my post was just about the reads on the thread below. I happened to look at the WHOLE thread and was amazed that RY and her supporters reads had such high reads, grossly unproportioned compared to posts right below them. I thought it was odd.
So it's not just about getting attention to your post. For some it is about how many people read you. I used to watch a provider on the Carolina board to this. She usually would get 60 reads for an ad. But several times it was hundreds!! LOL

I felt sorry for her and thought about helping her out some!!  :)
I am happy for you that you know Robbin a little bit.  
You can shill and I can shrill.
One thing all of you shillers need to know. It's not all about tits and ass.
Sometimes it is about humility and respect for others.
There is a show on tele this wintewr. It is TRUE BEAUTY.
It involves guys and girls and they are(they think) judged by their beauty/fitness. But they learn at the end, that their inner beauty is what is judged.
So many times in my life I have run across a True Beauty. But he/she was hollow in the inside.
In this business we are judged by our beauty/appearance. But I know there are many Gentleman that consider inner beauty an ASSet.

I just noticed that both your post and Robbin's post - and worst of all, my post - have all been pulled from the Rates thread.

It did not occur to me to check that old thread before I posted above but it seems you were correct all along- there was delayed moderation on that thread.

But since they took her post as well as yours - and mine - at least there was no preferential moderation.

There have been many instances where the new moderation process is less than perfect.  I'm not saying that I'm OK with it, but I don't know that I'd necessarily take it personally.

The flip side is that I've gotten a couple through the process that I never expected to see the light of day.  In some parallel universe, I suppose it all equals out.

as opposed to contributing something substantial to an existing thread. By my count that is two "ads" in less than a week. And I was not aware that ads were allowed on GD.....

However, every lady here has supporters and perhaps some detractors. Its not a battle that should be fought on the boards. I would wish that the mods would see through this self-shilling and disallow any such posts that exceed one per week on her regional board (which I believe is the rule - correct me if I am wrong). But until then the best thing is to simply ingore them. Attacking the posts will only bring resistance and recrimination by those whos sensibilities are affronted.

Hopefully those who are not already a particular lady's WKs will not be impressed by the strategy of attention seeking bordering on if not exceeding the definition of an ad....

An ad is a means of selling ourselves to you gentleman.  So, IMO, if you want to get right down to it, every single time a provider  posts a comment, asks a question, or expresses her opinion, it's an ad. She is showing her personality, her sense of humor, her intelligence, her charm, her compassion, her sense of self.  She is appealling to some and not so appealling to others.  These incidental posts are not "official" ads but the end result is the same.  Now, if what she posts actually contributes to the thread, that's a bonus!

You were just prevented from creating a dramatic train wreck so soon after the last one IMHO.

By stating that the OP in a thread has had too many favorable posts, you ARE inviting nothing but drama and reaction about the poster and not the post.  That should be moderated.

However, this thread is an entirely different topic regarding the application of the moderation and was ALLOWED, even though it arguably criticizes the ones who you are complaining about. (caps used for emphasis, not shouting)

You should think geometrically about this instead of linearly.

When I read the above from your OP on this thread, I read it to mean that you wanted to comment on the disproportionate amount of favorable posts within the thread itself, and that post was not allowed.

If that is the case, then a post like that can only lead to either the favorable posters defending themselves as being more than shills, and others "answering your call" (figuratively speaking) and coming out to post negatively about Robbin Young and her T&A pseudo ad.  In short - a train wreck.

However, when you initiate this thread with your OP, then it is allowed, even though it says the same thing because it is more of a topic about the implementation of the new system than a bash on another Robbin Young "look at me" thread and the WK's who oblige her.

Obviously, I was not too clear in my post.  I intended to say that the denial of the post avoided the train wreck, and therefore, you obviously couldn't have had one.

I like psychedelic as well, but can't type very well when tripping. :-)

BTW, I personally agree with 90% of what you've been saying regarding the attention addict type posts. Just not about the censorship.
