According to a TER survey, Asian men make up 17% of the hobbyist population.  That seems extraordinarily high, considering Asians only account about 4.5% of the US general population.

As an Asian/Chinese myself, I am surprised by the fact that so many others having similar interest.  I meet other Asian guys in person and on the internet boards, I never encounter any discussions of experience such as "eating a incredible blond pussy" ...  

I live in the big "D" area where many hot providers are, I know what I am in for.  I guess I will keep myself silent about it in front of other Asians.

But I do not doubt it.  Not to sterotype but many Asian men are successful and can afford to hobby and Indian men in particular have arranged marriages.

i am an african-american woman, and a good percentage of my regular clients are asian. mostly Indian and Middle-eastern, but several Chinese, Korean, Japanese as well. i think there are two primary reasons for this: 1. i specifically mention in my ads that i cater to Asian gentlemen, and 2. i am a submissive provider and many men from eastern cultures appreciate the experience of being served by a submissive woman.

I'm a caucasian looking man, half Spanish, half Heinz 57. I have been with black women, hispanic women, and white women.

I've never had the pleasure of being with an oriental woman, or one from the middle-east. Yet!  

But I can't imagine that other than skin tone, any of them would be different from one another. Other than performance.

What is the big deal about race?

Myself. I'm going to Vegas in June and I have a 'list' of ladies I would like to see. Or better yet, if they would let me see them!

Some are white, some are black, some are asian.

It's not up to me whom I see. It's up to the lady who feels I would be lucky enough to be with them.

I can be crude, and say it's all pink inside. But the fact of the matter is, a lady is a lady. What difference does is make what color she is on the outside?

I don't know. This topic is very exhausting.

All I want is to be with a beautiful lady. To hold her, have sex with her, to talk with her, and do it all over again. And again. And again.

Skin tone doesn't mean a thing. Religious and/or political beliefs might be a problem. But seeing as how I'm an easy going guy, and they don't try to convert me, we should be alright.

Am I alone in these sentiments?

in our society, it can't come soon enough for me. A person's religious beliefs are not my concern, and I don't really care who they voted for.

I didn't really look at it as a race issue but more of a personal preference, kind of like blonde or brunette, tan or no tan, shaved or unshaved, agency or indy...etc...etc.  Every one has a different set of preferences they look for or consider beautiful, that's why men/women come in all shapes and sizes.

Asian woman have a certain look that I like,  lips, eyes,hair, petite size and yes skin tone.  I like latin women as well for their sensuality and seem to be a lot more comfortable with their sexuality.

The most important feature for me that ranks above race, color.. etc. is personality, if the lady does not have a good personality the date is ruined... well not entirely ruined there is still the having sex with a hot babe part but who wants that?

Lastly I love brunettes, though I have met a couple of very nice blonds and a certain redhead... Variety, that's it, I like variety.

I think its because the advertising structure "emphasize" race or ethnicity.  Eros, cityvibe divide providers in categories.  Every provider is mixed with something or is ALL Anerican caucasion or 100% asian.  So since the the focus is on race, it natural to have questions about race  

Personally, I like Brazilian women, so when I saw a ad that said All Brazilian girl, I called.
She sounded too American, so I asked have you been to Brazil?  Her response, no but both my parent lived there and they speak SPAINISH.

And it is true, that with the eyes closed, there is not that much difference, however I can not deny that I had a lot of excitement and still do when I see a black, Asian or Hispanic provider.

I suppose there is an element of taboo, which, of course heightens excitement; but there is more to it than that.

I love the accent of an Asian woman, that much I know, in fact I love all foreign accents, British especially.

There is a glow and look on the face of an Asian woman when orgasming which unlike any other that I've ever seen, that is also a large part of the excitement.

There is a beauty to the contrast of light and dark color skin, that much I have determined as well.

Sex is an aesthetic experience, and the myriads of ways that it can work are somewhat unknowable, which is a large part of the allure.

I think Asian men see more providers because, like Chinese food, after sex they are Horney an hour later.  OK, enough joking.  I want to see a well reviewed Asian woman some day.  The only black woman I have been with was a provider.  I always wanted to be with a black lady but it wasn’t happening in the civie world.   The beauty of the black lady (Victoria Minja) would rival that of any white woman.   The color contrast was awesome.

I wonder GTM how much that applies to "westernized" asian women born and raised in the US?

in my experience (ie anecdotal evidence coming your way lol) most Asian women of the first generation born in the US are not "westernized" at all, at least in respect to core values. Yes they may adopt comparitively liberal social strictures but not the worldview of the East.

With each successive generation the degree of "westernization" increases, with notable exceptions. Chinese women in the US for example often have family ties back home, and often have their children educated during the summer in China. There is, due to the larger sense of family and the veneration of ancesetors, a desire to maintain the fundamentally Eastern world view even while living in and enjoying the somtimes dubious benefits of our relatively freewheeling society.

The interesting bit from my perspective is - Eastern culture, built as it is on group identity to a great degree is much more accepting of what we call "deviations" sexually, while our supposedly individualist society is repressive of same lol....

The brand Brasiliera is a popular one indeed lol.
Quite a sexual mythos surrounding that culture and the women thereof.

However I particularly favor Columbianas, Dominicanas, and Boricuas myself.....

frankly, skin color is rather boring to me...if color contrasts were something that pushed my buttons, then i could find every contrast i possibly desired within my own race. it's just not all that interesting to me, but for many the contrasts are very esthetically appealing.

something that can often be tied to race, and which i think explains why many are especially attracted to those of other races, are cultural differences. i cater to Asian gents because i appreciate their culture of humility and respect, and especially their natural comfort with a submissive woman. i cater to white gents for similar reasons...the deep-seated social and cultural conflicts between white and black, the dark history of slavery and segregation, can make for a very interesting dynamic when a white gent decides to spend time with me, a black submissive. this is especially the case as i only see gents over 40 and not those who are younger and more modern with a "kumbayah/race is meaningless" view of life.

Very True, I guess you just answered the frequent post about why black men who are rejected by white provider are so upset, especially in the age group you mentioned.

But we in the DC area have a lovely authentic Brasiliera indeed, so I got my fantasy!!

I have several Asian clients also.   And, they are some of the MOST passionate men I know!

Which isn't the same as actually US hobbyist population.  It represents the men who use a computer, and specifically look on this site, to assist in their hobby.  I can believe Asian men might be overrepresented in that respect, but it doesn't mean they are overrepresented among hobbyists in general.

I'm in DC and the number of Asian men I see is nowhere near 17%.  It's about 5% which is a little less than the local population of Asians.  The vast majority of men I see are white, significantly higher than represented in the census, until you correlate against finances...then, it makes sense.

Asian women, like women of all cultures are "westernized" rather quickly. I know many "asian" women who have only been here a few years, much less for generations that are throughly westernized.

My mother is a perfect example, she speaks fluent Cantonese, my grandparents never learned English, yet is 100% westernized.

The difference between Chinese-Americans and ABC's (American Born Chinese) is night and day. Anyone born in this country who travels back to Asia can confirm this. If you are born and raised in this country you are no longer asian, in attitude at least.

I am a perfect example of Westernization. Chinese people are known for their humility, ask anyone on the P&R Board, I am an arrogant, opinionated prick, the antithesis of the polite, humble Chinese man. lol
