Yep, always looking for a good mechanic.... clients I've seen before seem to do the best work on my cars, don't find "extra" problems that really don't exist, and exchanging an hour of my time in exchange for repairs, is always cheaper than the dealership!

So I can return it, complain about the workmanship or have it generally maintained without drama or additional "payments".

I don't want to hop into bed with someone everytime a fixture needs fixing or my teeth need whitening.

Unless the item or service is highly desirable, extremely unaffordable (and not worth waiting for) or comes with some sort of guarantee...no, I wouldn't barter for anything.
