Hey guys,
I am seriously considering relocating to Montreal or potentially getting a  small apartment therein the long run in. But I wanted to hear from you guys. Honestly, I feel that to live the lifestyle I want(banging an escort at least once per week) I could find it there.

Note I do speak French and could become fluent in a year or so, that's not an issue. I am wondering if hobbying there is that good it would be worth it?

I'm single, no children  and have a small online business.

I don't think you'll have an issue. People know enough English to get by. Women are hot there. Wish you luck.

Looks like Montreal made the top 10 in a list of cities around the world for working remotely.

I've been in Montreal twice, but with family both times so didn't get to try out the local escorts.  From what I've seen on reviews here, though, the prices are low compared to the US and a wide range of attractive ladies. It sounds like a great destination for the hobby.

You mention you speak French, I don't but had absolutely no problem - everybody I dealt with spoke English; shops, restaurants, hotels, cab drivers, people on the street when I asked directions, etc.  One funny exception is that all signs and menus in restaurants (like up on the wall at a burger joint) were in French only.  My perception is that Quebec sees itself as separate and French-speaking only.  Throughout Canada all the signs on the interstate are in both languages, but once you hit Quebec they are in French only.

Joke:  Two guys get talking, first says "I know you are from Canada, but I can't tell from your accent what part of Canada. The only thing I'm sure of is you're not from Quebec".  Second guy asks how he knows that. "Because you don't try to only speak French and you're not an asshole".

I too have thought about retiring to Montreal, for many of the same reasons.  I'm in a similar situation to the OP; single, no children, etc., and I'm francophone.   Looking at the websites for the Montreal review boards and escort services, it seems ideal, especially if you are paid in USD.  There or Toronto.  Warning: that Quebecois accent is not the one you learned studying in Paris or Switzerland.

I detailed to Canada one year to help open the St. Lawrence Seaway as the ice began to thaw.  I am from the South and I have never experienced cold weather like that.  As long as you don't mind extended cold weather and maybe a little wintertime cabin fever, both cities are beautiful and as noted, have plenty of striking women.  As a side note, Montreal had some of the best strip clubs I have ever visited.

Montreal is a nice city.  If you are worried about language problems head to the Westmount neighborhood which is heavily English.  Almost everyone in Montreal speaks English, though.

My best advice for you is when you got to a strip club bring American money.   It's worth more than the Canadian dollar and they will know the reason you speak English is that you are American.  Some Quebecois don't like the non-French
Canadians, but they are OK with Americans.

Montreal is a great place to live but who decides where to live based on availability of escorts????

Now if you are going for winter sports and watching hockey now that makes sense.

If you were on a forum created for hockey fans yours would be a valid question. but HERE??? This is a board devoted to hookers and those who live to fuck them. Do you REALLY think that people on this board would want to move to a place without great hookers anymore than a hockey fan, or a person who lives for winter sports would want to move to someplace like Ecuador???

I am sure you have heard the term "situational awareness", well actually after reading your post, maybe it's something you should look up. lol

I am currently seriously considering buying a condo and moving part of the year to Fort Lauderdale... Nov-April specifically, but I will stay in DC area in the summer mainly due to Nats. I just can't imagine not going to the games in summer, or living elsewhere in the WORLD no matter how delicious the pussy is..  - plus who wants to live in S. Florida in the summer LOL.

Now only if this real estate market can settle down a bit.

I lived there for a little over 3 year when I got out of college.  I was playing for the Alouettes at the time in the late 90's.  I absolutely loved living in Montreal.  Don't worry about speaking french, everyone is bi-lingual.  Some might give you a hard time by saying that they don't speak english but everyone does.  I met and dated a ton of fantastic ladies in my 3 years there.  I really didn't partake in the hobby, but I did frequent Saint Catherine Street where back in the day there were a ton of strip clubs and great night clubs. I was constantly amazed how hot the dancers at these clubs were and pretty much it was anything goes.

Not sure how much it has changes since I lived there and truth be told I haven't been back since the early 2000.  I had hear that they "cleaned-up" Saint Catherine St, but I'm sure there still are gentleman's clubs their.  I say if you have the means, go for it!!!

Be Safe,
Buck

might be a lil different than the french in Montreal. My friend speaks french and has to listen and think for a minute to understand. He listens to key words but the pronunciation is way different.

I grew up speaking only English, but it sure as hell doesn’t sound anything like what they speak in England, and Lord help me try to understand some Indians speaking English.
Spanish in Mexico is a lot different than Spanish in Spain. Same with Brazilian Portuguese and Portugal Portuguese.

Growing up in California, Spanish is almost universally the way they speak it in Mexico.  The first time I went to Venezuela on business, I was kind of lost.  They speak the Spanish version.  Different verb conjugations gave me fits, even on a basic level.  I thought I was all set because I had hired a tutor for four months before I went that was a professor at some Mexican university.  LOL

Rent an Airbnb for a month or two (in summer) and have fun. The cost of living is low especially when you consider the exchange rate.
And you wouldn't have to endure those long, cold winters.
In fact.. that seems like such a good idea I might just try it!
Bon courage!

Excellent post man. Honestly, I feel there should be more resources for guys like us(mongers/players/bachelors). I feel many "Top cities" to live list are either for career women or families. I remember some people saying about Montreal. But there's how could I rise my family of five, they don't have dishwashers! I was like, "Dude, seriously..." who cares about dishwashers.

Very affordable. Friendly people. English is widely spoken. Excellent restaurants. Beautiful escorts. Very large and reasonably priced escort agency scene. You'll be getting laid more than once a week, I guarantee it. Go for a few weeks first and check out airbnb apartments in different neighborhoods. Hopefully the border will be open soon to vaccinated travelers. Bonne chance.

Montreal is a beautiful city. It's a small island, but plenty of amazing looking ladies from all over the world. English is not an issue. It has the best strip clubs when I lived there way back when. Have not experienced the p4p scene, but had full service at a massage parlor. The strippers could be ladies of the evening, if you get some lap dances in and ask her. If you visit her enough at her club, she could be a potential GF, if she likes you. I saw Madelyn Fabray (TER reviewed) from Mtl when she visited the US few years ago and had a great time. She is on the higher end looking at the ladies with posts on other ad sites. Enjoy the ladies there and the international cuisine is also amazing up north.

Few fun facts having read replies from this post.
- VP Harris went to Westmount HS
- the National baseball team in DC was formerly the Montreal Expos
- Holy smokes! I saw one game the Alouettes played at the Olympic stadium (aka the toilet bowl)
