Strip clubs have there place.  Great place to have a bachelors party.  Couple guys get together for a few brews and laughs.  As far as picking one up, if you say for a date that is possible and then there are a few that will do a bit more, but I seen many a dude tossed for asking that question.  
I would say if you just want to look and a little bymo and grind then the strip club is good.  If you want "a little less talk and a lot more action" please visit you local neighborhood provide.  350 would give you a whole lot of fantasy.

Your own question in your last sentence. If you want that extra mile then take that $350.00 and call an escort. You are then gonna get all the way action. If you are lucky enough to get a stripper to take you home or take her home then it is still gonna cost you an additional $300.00 to $350.00 over an above what you already dropped at the strip club.

The answer to your second question is easy - if you want to assure yourself of the extra mile, an escort is the better alternative. Some strippers will go home with you, some won't - but you don't know which is which.

A funny thing happened to me at a strip club I sometimes go to when traveling to headquarters. I had been talking to a particular stripper off and on throughout the evening, and then she broke the heel of her shoe.
