OUCH .. thank goodness that has never happened !     i actually have a separate UBER account to a private credit card .. i use it mostly when traveling for girls to come to my hotel / vegas casino.

 heck i dont care if i have a heart attack at a lady's place .... either  i die .. or wind up in the hospital and can say that young girl was kind enough to call an ambulance while i was sitting in my car    

You can't lie to the insurance company. That doesn't mean you can't lie to your wife. You already lie to her all the time. Is she really going to open mail from your insurance company?

In your scenario, I'd also lie to the insurance company.

You don't report to your insurance company. You pay for the fixes out of your pocket as a write off - cost of mongering. You tell your SO that your car was subject to hit and run while you were getting a coffee, and you don't want to involve insurance because it may raise the premium.

Got rear-ended at the light in front of her place.  
Not much damage and I didn't want to be late,  so I told the driver it was his lucky day.

Forget Uber, just take public transit!  Literally NOTHING is more discreet and anonymous than taking a bus or a train.  Nobody knows what you're doing once you get off at your destination stop.  You could be doing to your company's satellite office, or visiting a friend, or (whatever).  Because short of injecting a tracking chip in you (*cough* vaccines *cough*; I'm joking!), they have no real way of finding out.
