PLEASE... Ladies.... take heed of this...

DO NOT put music on your websites!!!  There is nothing that can get a guy into trouble quicker when he is at work, home or where ever than having your music blasting out of his speakers the momment he clicks on to your site!  You know how many times I've spilled my drink, slammed my chair into the wall and knocked all the shit off my desk while frantically trying to reach for the volume control???!!!!

Trust me, we don't decide to meet you because of the music, Flash photos, cool visual effects or whatever... so don't waste your time and our discretion by having it on there!  We see you because of your pretty face, hot body and performance history.

I'm not trying to be cute... this is desperate plea for you ladies to soften up your sites and make them a little more plain and discrete!

Thank you

Thomas Jenkins

panic.  Well maybe.  You could end up with such a large woodie that you won't be able to stand if your boss comes into the office, or your SO is picking stuff up in the room.  But my guess is that the pictures on the screen would cause you a larger problem than the woodie.

I have my speakers at worked muted all the time just for that reason.  At home, I use only headphones.

In fact, when I end up at a site where someone I am considering has loud and even suggestive music going, I conclude that is enough to look elsewhere.  If she didn't consider my possible situation now, she probably won't in other ways.

This isn't a directive to ladies to stop.  It is a data point to all those who might want to attract careful clients like me.

Jenkins is right.  I've leapt out of my skin when bombarded by boudoir music @ 2 billion decibles coming out of my computer at home, or worse, work. We shouldn't have to adjust our volume settings in the hope that "fuck me ditties" will come wailing out of our laptops.

That reminds me of a site that I saw years ago (I do not remember the place though), that was supposed to be hot naked women or the like, and when you clicked to it, it played (at a very loud level BTW),

"HEY EVERYBODY, I'M LOOKING AT PORN!"

Over and over again until you either went off the site, or turned down the speakers.

It got a few people in my office years ago.

I had music for the first week I had my website, but removed it immediately when I received an email telling me how it could cause problems at work or at home for someone viewing my site.

All those bells and whistles annoy me too unless they are really well placed, same with flash.  I HATE flash.  I very rarely see it applied in a way that works.

John Denver.  Jenkin's solution is called a mute button and it don't cost nuttin'.  My solution is tacky website music and lots of it at high volume.  Whoooooo!  So play on ladies!

you and I gotta make some 70's porn music CD's.  We can be the Dirk Diggler and Chest Brockman of the music world.

Even worse, the beautiful (& talented) Naomi Candle has a sound bite that says,"Hey, handsome, want some company?" when you hit the "Enter Site" button.

I cruise TER with the espeakers OFF.

I don't think it is all that wise to be looking at these kind of sites from work.  You could be fired.
