to play, I will set something up ahead of time and also have several other ladies (called a plan B or C) verify me in case I need to see them.

But then again I normally book well in advance and I know of multiple ladies that I can see in short notice at any time in the day or night. Different ladies at different times but still a choice 24/7.

I have found in the 2 yrs of the hobby that about 1 in 3 contacts results in a date. 1 never responds, 1 does but is not available or follow up contact is ignored and 1 comes thru. I only contact well reviewed ladies (ratings of 8 and 9's). My e-mail or phone contacts are professional and never lude or rude. I am always a gentleman on the phone or via e-mail.  I always follow instructions on the ladies website or ad about how to contact them, provide references, and all the info they request.  

BUt if I am traveling say for a 3 day trip and I want to see 2 different ladies on my trip, I need to make on average 6 contacts to line up the 2 dates with ample notice of about 1 to 2 weeks time. Just my experience. Even with that I have had last minute cancellations and had one trip where both cancelled last minute and I scrambled to find last minute dates.

About a year and a half ago, prior to a trip to Charlotte, NC, I contacted several providers. Charlotte looks like a nice place to hobby, based on TER reviews.

I received a variety of responses, ranging from no response to a high degree of interest in seeing me when I would be in town. As things turned out, I was right on your 0 for 5. Lots of great golf that week, but no hobbying for Mr. T.

Why? One never knows. I remember the same thing happening in Chicago a year before that. My approach has always been to start anticipating my next encounter.
