I have tried once again to post what I feel would be beneficial to the hobby communtity in regard to a review.  It was listed as "incomplete".

This was a review discussing a no-show situation (please see the San Diego board for a post about the matter).  Are these supposed to be complete with juicy details that didn't occur?  It was incomplete because I never saw the woman in question.

I try to add my experiences and information to these boards only to find myself blocked from doing so.  Once again this board proves that I am wasting my time here.

To the hobbiests who are actually looking for information, I feel sorry for you.  To the staff, WTF do you want?

Writing to warn others about serious reliability issues.  After a month of trying to get any response, I set up some time in Vegas, verified in afternoon, got a call 45min before moving appt back, showed up but no Joi. Still waiting to hear why.

Sorry no juicy details to share.  I would have rated her as a rip-off but all she cost me was my time.  I left several vm's the night of the appointment and have sent two emails this week without any word.  Seemed time to warn others.

in Vegas.  Don't know whether this has anything to do with your situation.  There had been many discussions in various regional boards about no-show reviews getting rejected, so this is not a new policy.

I think posting message on a board is enough warning to other members.

BTW, what happened to the follow up after you heard back from her as stated in your post in 11/8/2002?

for a wide ranging number of reasons. The most basic is the review page is a focused picture of what you should expect going in to the situation. Reliability is a large determinant of what your experience will be like. Or, as they say in forensics, past behavior is the most accurate predictor of future conduct.
  A provider may be well reviewed, insofar as the review page appears, but she may be such a pain in the schedule to deal with that whatever benefit you obtain from the experience is offset by wasted time and bad emotions.
  A half intelligent reader can sort out the confabualtions from the real story. A girl who averages a 7 has a couple of 10-10s that read like they were written by a professional copywriter who aspires to being the first great pornographic novelist ? The credibility factor is sorely missed.
  Who hasn't tried to connect with a provider who looked great on paper but turned out to be an infuriating flake ?
  The best service TER could do this community is to allow inclusion of experiences that were so flawed that they didn't happen, or the customer bailed out of fear, bewilderment, or revulsion.
  As it stands, the reviews come across like Enron's books, where all the stuff you need to know is kept of the balance sheet.
  If clearly stating this information inspires certain providers or agencies to clean up their acts, so much the better. Nothing but good could come from raising the bar of acceptable behavior a full notch.

There was one provider in particular that I've twice tried scheduling in the past but has flaked out at the last minute.  Then I've read in the discussion board that the provider has done it to other people too.  I've only realized this when I checked the dicussion boards.   I think it would do the readers a great service if no-shows can be added to the review section.

Yes, the same thing happened to me... I posted a review of a provider where the encounter was so bad that there were NO juicy details to reports... so of course my review wasn't posted due to same lack of details. Kind of a catch-22 situation.

Worse, I complained about the fact that my review wasn't posted for that reason (just as you have done now) and NOW I can't post anything without moderator approval... actually I will be surprised if this post is approved even though it addresses real issues that need to be fixed. You will now likely find all your posts delayed while you wait for moderator approval, because like me you have "complained" and are now a "trouble maker" who needs to be watched.

Funny, I used to be a paying member, and even when I paid my posts had to be "approved"... needless to say I haven't renewed.

I had a similar concern once, when a review of mine was rejected for lacking detail. But I had stated clearly such things such as whether she does "DFK" and "DATY" and "CBJ", and when I pointed this fact out to the powers-that-be, they agreed that the review did not lack detail at all. They mentioned that they were having "problems in the approval of reviews."

Perhaps this is another symptom of the same problem? I could see, that certain volunteer review-approvers might just get tired of reading and, in order to get the work off their virtual desks, they just randomly accept and reject the last six or seven on their docket. I could imagine any of a number of other human-oriented problems like that.

So, I'm sympathetic to your complaints. Write to the staff right away when that happens, if you've got plenty of proof-positive that supports your side of the debate. They've always been sensible with me.

I fully expect that she had a resonable excuse and I was planning on updating the post to the board and the review when applicable.

The time taken to reply and no explanation is rather frustrating, however.

I had tried sending messages when I had troubles before and was once interested in the job as moderator when they were looking.  I have yet to receive any reply what-so-ever.  Similarly, there is no response to this post.

Oh well, the loss is not really mine.  I'm seeing several new ladies in the near future but will not post any reviews here.  You're on your own guys, good luck.

This discussion has come up in the past with concerning no-show reviews.  Currently they are not allowed because there is no way for you to answer any of the questions in the review (i.e. appearance and performance) if you never see the girl.  The compromise was to post the incident ton the message board - not in a review.

Whether you are a paying member, VIP by reviews, or a non-vip has little to do with your ability to post unmoderated.  

As far as the mean spirited jab.  The truth is you have purchased membership 5 times.  Each time you buy just one month and cancel so as not to be billed again (it's cheaper than paying a $50 one time fee, huh?)  

Let's be honest with the class, shall we?

i agree with staff from the standpoint that you can't review a girl if you didn't actually complete a session.

however, STAFF - am i wrong in thinking that this venue exists mainly so that we hobbyists can alert each other to the good and warn each other about the bad... shouldn't there be some kind of review category for the provider who fails to show up for appointments (or shows up with a different face, body, or attitude than the one advertised?)

I think a good idea would be to recommend to TER staff/moderators about establishing a separate "No-show" board in the reviews section.  A separate board exists for the rip offs, so why not for no-shows?  The review template might have to be modified slightly to accommodate this ("1" is a rip off, so "0" would be a no response/no show).  No-shows should be reported and not ignored just because the "reviewer" wasn't able to have the appointment as desired, therefore no "details" exist. ("Nothing happened since she didn't show.")

Reviews are important for TER and its members obviously, but information regarding potential no-show problems is also important and should not be disregarded.

This is just an area where the provider is in a better position than her client.  If a client is a no show for an appointment the lady can post a review on the TBD escorts only board.  The post will remain there forever and the client will not know about the post let alone be able to contest it.  There is actually an advertisement from some providers who are going to visit Los Angeles in the near future that say they will post your name on this board if you are a no show.

If the provider is a no show for an appointment with her client the client can only post about it on the discussion board and it will rapidly make its way to page 55 and be forgotten about.  Also he will probably be criticized and told that he should cut the provider a break that there is probably a good reason for the no show. C'est la vie.

You are free to complain but I doubt than anything will result from it.

No shows are a constant complaint with hobbyists and providers alike.      

I do however feel that the hobbyist and provider talk it out before her reputation can be permanently tarnished with a bad review.  This is why I agree with Staff that it's better posted on a local board.  

Providers get no shows as well.  That's just a part of doing business, whether you're a physician or a provider.  I doubt the ladies over on the TBD Ladies Only board are posting such things.  When I was a member, it was used to warn those who were dangerous, not no-shows.

I'd hate to see the review section become some sort of venting system.  It could lead to providers pulling their reviews for instance.  This is a balancing act.

You're right Misty, the review section is not a good place to vent.  I would bet that as a whole providers experience far more no shows than hobbyists do.  In the Grand Scheme of things being stood up by a provider is a very minor problem--if that's the worst thing that happened to you that day then your life is not too bad.  As Staff suggests, anyone can claim to being stood up and not have to offer any kind of proof that a regular review needs.  It would be easy for a disgruntled hobbyist who didn't pass the girl's screening or a jealous provider to ruin the rep of a provider by claiming they were a no show.

Just went thru the same experience myself. I had been trying to reach Alice/Angela (a Ruski Provider in Brentwood/LA/CA) for a few days and she finally answered and had me go to an intersection near her pad. Only she did not answer her phone when I got to the intersection and the travel/day was a waste. When I called her a week later and told her I was pissed about the deal, she asked me why it was so important. Time is important, I think. She wasted mine. I then wrote a review which was labeled "incomplete" like yours, since I never saw the lady. I wrote staff to warn them that Alice told me that she was getting out of the biz and that the next 3 reviews of her could have been bull.

It is tricky since fake reviews probably proliferate these pages all the time and no-shows could be another way to fake a review and hurt the biz of the provider. But I was always under the assumption that the TER was for the benefit of us sensually wanting dudes, and not to protect the women who profit from our obsessions...?

It is interesting that the entire thread started by the petite princess relating to her and her girlfriends upcoming trip to Los Angeles has been deleted from the Los Angeles Discussion Board for whatever reason.

Perhaps you are correct in that despite what was said in the advertisement these ladies never intended to write up no shows on the TBD Escorts only board.  Who knows?

However, I guess my nosey side got the better of me.  The threat by Petite Princess is a bit over the top.  A small deposit should be good enough.

Interesting though, her reviews have been pulled.  Either she is banned from TER because of her threat or the details I have gathered from their reviews and disclosed in my post about the different performance of the 2 Petite Princesses is so damaging to their business, they requested Staff to pull it.

Fortunately, I remember their websites and some of the review details.  It is very easy to locate their tour page using any search engine.
