Specifically black girls? I like the natural on top and shaved below.

My friend is a pretty, petite light-skinned ebony. She works in a bodyrub studio. She has naturally curly hair, but ALWAYS wears a wig, not for added anonymity, but because she thinks she looks better that way and she insists that clients also prefer that.

Now I don't agree. I'm a dude, so I should know what men like, right?

Please help me with your opinion:

Do you prefer a girl to

1. Wear her own curly hair out?
2. Wear a wig that's straight?

Thanks for your inputs

cheers

Feels sexy. A woman that know she sexy will rock my world

Depends on the shape of her face. Heart-shaped gives straight hair (wig of natural) a framing. On a round face, I don't care for the look. Curly hair could be harder to manage every day. Don't know, but guessing.

If the wig makes her feel better, she probably radiates comfort and confidence. Which is beautiful.

But in a session, I'd rather the woman shed her wig. Just like they no doubt prefer that the guy removes his socks.

I don't know you or her, but natural Black hair is not just "curly", it's kinky.  Sure, if she's bi-racial or some ethnic mix, her hair could be curly, but generally Black womens hair is so hard to maintain that it has to be chemically straightened about once a month (don't ask), and is just a very time consuming PITA.

That's why a lot wear hair extensions because it's way easier to maintain.

You said she wears a straight WIG.  A wig is like a cap that covers the entire head.  Unless she's wearing a super high quality wig, they're usually very fake looking.  Odds are, she is not wearing a wig at all- but actually hair extensions which are added in to her natural hair and are harder to detect if done well.

Anyway, carry on.

and I bet there isn't one woman in fifty that wears a "wig" nowadays. I'd be willing to give 50-1 that you are right and that she is wearing extensions. but as I am sure you will agree, a wig would be a hell of a lot cheaper, but it wouldn't look a tenth as good.

I dated a girl who did exactly what you are talking about, had her hair chemically straightened about once a month, and I am a witness to what a PITA it was to her, and to me. The things that women will do to make themselves just a "little bit" hotter never fails to amaze me.

She is mixed to some degree. Her hair is not a tight Afro, but more of a Latina corkscrew curl.

And she wears a WIG! Not extensions. WIG

Nothing worse than expecting to feel scalp and feeling something akin to carpet backing.

Some AA gals look better with straight hair, and some look better with a 'fro.

I knew one gal with the latter, Angela Davis size if you remember her from the 70s.

It was a real turn on.

Here's her pix:

Jk.

Id have to agree with you that if she has lovely natural curls, covering that hair in a wig is a shame.

Over wigs and extensions.  It is more of a turn on. The fake stuff is not natural and has a chemical smell to it. Wigs sometimes fall off. Also don't have part of the head shaved.

Hair is such a deeply politicized and emotional issue in our community. Hell, at least two movies have been made about it! Personally I think the wigs and weaves are almost always fake-looking and unattractive, but I would never tell another lady how she should wear her hair.  Nappy natural hair does take some special care with certain styles, and some getting used to for anyone who's had chemically or heat straightened hair her whole life. So if a lady is not ready to make that step of going natural, who am I to judge? But for myself, I've worn my hair natural since back in the '80s (dreadlocks for 21 years, short for a couple  years, and dreadlocks since then), and wouldn't go back to straightening it for anything... it's too big a part of my personality.

Big old school 'fros like that are beautiful but soooo much work to maintain! I was a kid back then and wore a 'fro and it was really time-consuming. That's why Angela and I both have dreadlocks now LOL!
