Funny thing happen to me today.
I went to the usual place to see my cheap ($80), pretty, young provider.
The woman on the phone says yes, this girl and that other girl are here.
Ok, I say let me in.  Should I go in? The door is open. Yes come in she says.

I'm going in when this older lady with a broom in her hand ask me who I was?  
Who was I looking for? I tell her Lilly. She tells me there is no Lilly there. But  I'm on the phone with her. The lady who I thought was like in charge of the place and the girls. But then I get it when she says, the only Lilly here is Lilly of the Valley... which makes mew think oh, ok.. that's
her right name or is a new lilly. But she follows it with , after saying Lilly of or in the valley, jesus Christ. I go oh shit, ok tap on the hand and say thank you. Pretending to be like yeah you're right this is wrong and good bye.

But the other woman keeps calling me on the phone, telling me to come in, to go by the metal door. There are  several metal gates, doors. I don't want to go back there because for sure they don't want me there. But if the girls want me to go in. Wow this is crazy, becoming stressful.
So I go back one more time and knock on the metal door next to the open door where the lady is cleaning. Trying no to be seen by her. Then there out of the darkness I hear a voice. There he is sitting by the other door asking my what I wanted. I said nothing as I started walking away about to turn my phone off for a while. Still they call me on the phone. I said some other day, whatever.
Then she ask me, are you at the old place. Yes. Oh we have moved. We will drive by there and you can follow us. A couple of blocks away in a nicer place, was the new place.  
Ok in the end it was all worth it. Very good, very nice everything.

Now I'll never forget going to the wrong place, trying to go in. Who knows what else could have had happen. But the people cleaning the place were nice.  
It was a confusing, complicated situation for a while and I don't like that.  

So that's my stupid story. Maybe doesn't sound like nothing but I lived it.

I traveled to the Alexandria, VA area many years ago and called an ad in the Yellow Pages.  I was at some popular suites chain.

The gal called me and I gave her the hotel name and room number and waited and waited.  She called back and said she went to the room, but no one answered.

I said back I was there, so how could that be?

It turned out that there were 3 hotels of that same chain in Alexandria!

So, always be sure to give the actual address.

So, I was at a nice hotel for a professional seminar.

Looking at TER to find a companion for the evening. Found just what I was looking for with a local agency.

Called them up. A man answered.

Told him my name and room number and said I wanted him to send up a girl.

Long pause. Then ... in a disgusted voice, he said  

"Sir - if you want an outside line, you need to dial 9. You have reached the front desk - and we don't send up girls!"

Kind of killed the mood that night.

These definitely qualify, btw.

one was Suites & the other not...  of course I was at the wrong one!  I stepped into the rest room at the first, called my gal & rectified the mistake.  Fortunately I realized my mistake just from the wrong lobby layout, never went upstairs.
