Unless lopaw starts taking testosterone shots, I don't think she'll suffer -- or enjoy? -- the same fate as us males. There are some animal mothers that die after spawning or giving birth (salmon, octopus, others), but lopaw is stopping far short of that stage of things. Whereas the male kaluta is like an Energizer Bunny whose batteries run out after a few days, lopaw's batteries can just keep on going.

but as much as it pains me to say this, Imp is absolutely correct where it comes to kalutas. It's not a measure of how much pleasure they get, or even how many hours of sex they have. You need to read the entire article to see what actually causes their deaths.

 
Let me put it this way, at age sixty I am still capable of fucking for hours. What I am not capable of at my advanced age is cumming a dozen times a day. And THAT is what kills the male kalutas, not the energy they expend by the actual act of fucking.

 
As for lopaw, she most likely can fuck a lot longer than any male here, she doesn't have a dick that she needs to keep hard after each orgasm. They die from hemorrhage and exploding organs.  I was content to keep the topic on Kaluta's, but the OP started comparing kaluta's to humans, and specifically mentioned Lopaw.  I just kept the conversation going in the direction he was pointing.  As I get older, my tongue doesn't stay hard as  long as it used to.  I would imagine Lopaw might have the same problem.  I also think its patronizing of Imp to think she could not fuck herself to death without taking testosterone.  I know anatomy just fine.  I have known many women that started bleeding during sex, and they weren't kalutas.  I just didn't have the stamina to go long enough to see if their organs would explode, or not.

and while our "window" is much longer than these poor, horny little Kulutas, the most any of us can hope for is maybe 60 some years of being sexually active, a mere blink in time by cosmic standards. Personally I plan on making the most of it, at 60 I have been sexually active for about 46 years now, I will confess to having wasted about 5 of those years due to a reasonably short marriage, but for the other 40 years or so I will confess I have been acting much like a Kaluta, and with at most about 20 more years of sexual activity in front of me I don't plan on wasting any of it although I will confess 14 hours at a time would probably result in me meeting the same end as the ill fated Kalutas. lol

 
BTW the scientist quoted in the article has it all wrong, this is NOT a matter of "putting all your eggs into one basket" it's more a matter of putting your seed into as many eggs as possible, but of course what do scientists know about sex? It's not like many of them are actually getting a lot of it. lol

This leads to some odd math:   If the males all die off in under a year, then there would have to be many more males born in order to service the females, I would think.

I don't claim to be an expert on Kalutas after reading just a single article, but it appears that ALL the kalutas only have a life span of around a year so it would lead one to believe that once the males fuck themselves to death, the impregnated female have a rather short gestation period and then die themselves after giving birth to a litter of baby Kalutas of course. lol

 
As for me, my feelings on the subject are more aligned with Al Pacino's in "Scent of a Woman" He said "No woman is worth dying for. Killing for? yes. Dying for? NO" lol
