Does any one see any clarity as to what is happining here and on the local boards that are under revampinmg??

made anything clear. They occasionally make changes to the site, some big and some small. Usually with no warning or explanation. In this latest instance they have given a lot more information than normal, (on the Admin's last post on Florida and Atalanta boards) but the fact that they waited a week to announce something, and then waited another day to clarify it, is what I think casused all the uproar. Nothing is ever "quite clear" on TER. I guess we wait and see, but what it appears to be is that they are going to try out the Cruise Director thing on the Flordia and Atlanta boards, for now and they are not messing with the other boards. I assume if they like the direction that takes, they may spread it to other boards. If the idea flops, they may can it. Now that the Chicago mod has resigned, maybe they will do that board too. Personally I think he jumped the gun in resigning, but it does sound like he resigned in protest. It didn't seem like they were going to strip him of his duties. (On the other hand, it is not like the other mods that were stripped had any warning)

As for the GD board, it appears they are leaving it alone, and hopefully that is true. The changes here were put in place by the mods here. Not by Admin.

I found out about  TER through an escort service many years ago (almost 10) and was taught the workings of it by association with one specific provider.  I joined under a separate name, and had a number of reviews under that name and Bizzaro was a pseudonym for that name.  I should add that noone, including me, liked that particular name.  In any event, I got myself into a tift with the TER Gods (ownership and management types) and they (correctly) gave a stiff warning, and threatened me with banishment from TER in total.... Quickly I realized that I had in fact violated some of the crystal clear "rules of TER" and I offered an apology, which they graciously accepted.  In any case, the ruling was - I could either continue to use the old name, but would not be permitted the Bizzaro pseudonym or I could reup and use Bizzaro as my primary "nom de plume"  obviously I chose the latter... the downside?  All my previous posts from about late 2003 to about march 2006 were erased!  as were all my reviews (quite the ladies in those early reviews! good times!).  

So, you see I've seen changes... tons.  some good, some bad.  but lets face it, the value proposition offered primarily by this web site and its owners and managers remains the verification of the genuine offerings by providers as to the basics (is she accurately represented by her internet ad, what are her attributes and services and cost).  In spite (or maybe for good reasons) the rest is gravy.... the "commaradarie" that can and oft is generated by this site is a thoughtful "extra."  

I will admit, many of the changes, I don't like, but I've come to adapt to them, because I still belive the site offers value for the price - and anyone who disagrees is free to exit... but we don't because I suspect, we value the service.  I quit hobbying with providers who would show up on these pages (and am contemplating a return), so I let my VIP lapse, but should I return to the hobby, you better bet I will be a paying member.  There is nothing else that I have found as helpful as TER for their basic verification service.  As to how to get management to change... well if we all wrote in, maybe, but it is "their web site"  I sincerly doubt they want to loose a substantial number of members simply because it will hurt the bottom line, so these recent changes must be in response to "something" and not a whim... but as I say, not really here for mind boggling discourse, rather - I am here to find out about the ladies... and will they, or won't they!
