TER isn't just a clearinghouse of information so guys can find escorts.   With a few obvious exceptions (insert name here), it's a group of people brought together by  the common desire to put into practice a more enlightened and liberal view toward our sexuality than society in general, currently accepts. In particular we believe we have a right to express our sexuality in a private and consensual environment of our own choosing with a partner of our own choosing, regardless of what the hypocritical lawmakers have dictated we should be doing.  

That's the reason women participate here along with the men.  It's not just for marketing, as the cynical amongst us may think.  It's because they're on the front lines of this hypocrisy and this one of the few places available to them where they can express their frustrations and get some support from like-minded men and women.  The source of this frustration comes from meeting guys like you (who think they're just ho's), a society and legal system that talks Puritan, but reads Penthouse, and LE that spends a disproportionate amount of their time chasing easy harmless targets rather than difficult, dangerous ones.  

Yes, it's still an illegal activity.  But rather than slam the women on this board, why don't you do something to promote a little more understanding and tolerance in the world.  It's easy to be a moralist, critical of the women in this field and the men they see as clients.  But maybe you should honestly ask yourself why are you posting on this board?

This country has an abundance of moralists willing to pass judgment on others publicly, while practicing who knows what in private.  What is needed, however, is a more adult attitude toward human sexuality in America- perhaps it's time to join the rest of the western world on this point.  

It's 2002, why do we still have to deny we are sexual beings?  To satisfy some leftover Puritanical beliefs from the18th century?  Or is it so guys like you can feel good by taking cheap shots at the women they want to have sex with, while still refusing to acknowledge they exist, or provide a valuable service to society.  Go ahead, attack if you must, providers are easy targets to hit.  But it doesn't take much thought or creativity to slam them, so don't be too proud of yourself, because they've heard it all, including things you haven't even thought of yet. But I would just ask you, what is the point?  

Not everybody lives in PV and has a wife and 2.3 Mercedes, or is it children?  Some guys are single or divorced, while others just don't want to get married, maybe they're older and are empty-nesters, or maybe they've lost a spouse- maybe they're just lacking in social skills.  For millions of guys conventional dating just isn't an option for a lot of reasons.  The escorts on this board, and elsewhere, provide a healthy outlet for these men to have a little human companionship and experience sexual  pleasure with an attractive and accepting woman.  In doing so, they provide a huge service to the greater society by acting as the "safety valve" for all the collective needs of this huge group of men.  They see pain, frustration, loves lost, jobs lost etc. etc., along with just normal sexual desire.  

If this activity didn't exist, and these needs were subverted, we would have a far more dangerous and unhealthy society than we have today.  Maybe you don't read the news, but I'm tired of reading about young boys being molested by priests and young girls being forced to have sex with uncles at age eleven.  You can deny sex but you can't stop it.  Any society that tries to repress sexual expression better be prepared to deal with the perverted acts it's repressed status willl create.  If you want to preach something, why don't you preach tolerance and acceptance and begin to work to make some positive changes in the attitudes of the people you live and work with.  Anyone can take cheap shots at providers, but it takes a bigger man to publicly work to end the hypocrisy.
