The government just passed a $2 TRILLION aid package aimed mainly at workers and businesses most impacted by the COVID crisis, somehow I don't think a single dollar was allocated for hookers. Hookers are citizens too, AND some of my best friends are hookers, I can't sit idly by while my friends starve to death or are kicked out onto the street. I'll take my chances with COVID. For the record, I live by myself, all my relatives live over a thousand miles away and I don't have any high risk people that I am going to come in contact with. If I had elderly parents or other high risk people living with me, I am sure I would have a different POV regarding continuing to see hookers.

Being a regular doesn't make any difference. 4 people I work with are in the hospital. Self employed people do pay into unemployment system as per the law. So I guess I am elligible.
The only self employed people that actually pay unemployment tax are those business owners that pay themselves an actual W2 salary which of course is subject to the same withholding for payroll tax that applies to any other employee, Most small business owners do NOT do this and as such are not generally eligible for unemployment benefits
There is some good news though, the pandemic benefits are different from the usual way things are done, and most likely if you are a taxpayer and you are impacted by COVID, most likely you will fit into one of the boxes. All of the rules and forms to fill out are supposed to come out today.
If you run your business as a registered corporation in your state, and you pay yourself a regular salary, then you would be eligible for the benefits. Doctors and Lawyers often run their business as a Professional Corporation even if they are sole practitioners and have no employees at all. You would have to check and see if this option is available to professional sex workers in your state.
No matter if independent contractor is elligible or not. Florida unemployment system is old and broken. 
I have some good news for you. What you can get is an upfront payment for about two months worth of "payroll" that you never have to pay back as long as you actually use it for payroll. Paying yourself a salary of course is considered "payroll" for these purposes.
The even better news is that you can apply for this money as soon as tomorrow and the funds can be in your bank account by Friday. Between this, and your stimulus/aid check I hope this will carry you through until this crisis is over.
The actual details are being written now, all the proper procedures and instructions should be available by tomorrow. You can get your "payroll" money much quicker than your $1,200 stimulus check, once the papers are filed you can go to virtually any FDIC insured bank to get your money as soon as this Friday.

still remained as available to go on dates due to financial need, however, always taking the necessary precautions to limit viral exposure and transmission. Within the past week I've only seen two clients in the South Florida area. The stay-at-home order is not being enforced and shouldn't threaten visits between a client and provider.
She knows I’ve been self isolating as she has since her kids have been home for more than two weeks now. While it carries some risk since I cannot know for certain that she hasn’t seen anyone else, I trust her enough to take the chance. Plus her food stores are scraping the bottom of the barrel, so I can give her a couple masks to help her shop. My furlough-imposed 97% self isolation (figure -1% per session with her across three total visits during this isolation period, lol) will continue until May 1st, and I expect I’ll see her again in 2 weeks.
