not really "random", and since I like GOOD surprises, the first was way better than if I had known it was coming; but here are three that I've encountered...
Good: A FBSM provider who upgrades you to BBBJ and then FS without an upcharge. Woo Hoo! Neutral: A provider has an SW friend there when you arrive. She's just hanging out, sort of a M&G situation, not an impromptu threesome. Bad: 1. Bandages from breast augmentation surgery. 2. She's normally very generous with her time, which you've become accustomed to, but rushes you out because of a civvie commitment.As in you prefer to know about it beforhand instead of being sprung on you unexpectedly. It does not necessarily have to be anything negative, it can also be something positive or neutral.
One time this very well known DC provider "forgot" condoms in her car. After a hot and heavy make out session, back in 2013, we were getting ready to do the deed, and she tells me she doesn't have condoms on her and they are in her car. This was a deliberate MO, as she was known to do BBFS, and already has 4 kids (from 4 different baby daddies, I suppose).
I got smarter after that and started carrying my own condoms. Oh.. I remember that day vividly. REDSOX were playing TiGERS in ALCS match up. REDSOX would go on to win the series and eventually the World Series.
Now this is some serious shit "forgetting" condoms like that.
But on less serious note, a girl once asked me if I drank wine and sweetheart of a girl she was she poured me some white wine. Oh the horror of having to drink white wine still haunts me, as I only drink red wine. One time the girl asked me if I wanted soda pop, and opened a can right in front of me and handed it to me..But I only drink diet soda, and not regular. Well she never asked or gave me a second to respond. It was hot and muggy day in DC. I somehow managed to drink half of it, and had to pour down the rest..
So no surprises for me.. There is no such thing as good surprise as far as I am concerned.
You could offer me Lobster and a Steak, but if I wanted Taco Bell trash, I wanted Taco Bell trash..

I don't recall a pleasant surprise.
A couple of times the surprise was the initial stages of Aunt Flo. Not what you want when you're a committed DATY-phile. I guess not every provider has that perfectly timed.
A couple of other times it was a lady who said she'd forgotten condoms. Both times it was a prelude to them claiming they needed to go to their car, and never coming back.
And there was the lady in DC who, as we cozied up skin to skin, and after I'd paid the fee for FS, informed me that she doesn't actually do penetration. A real WTF moment for sure.

A provider adverting in my area warns that she is missing part of her leg from knee down. I'm glad states that upfront. If she had more than one review, I'd like to meet her. She is kind of cute and claims very low volume. And knowing that going in neutralizes what could be a potential shock.
One thing that has surprised me more than once was having my poop-shoot licked. I've never passed if asked. I'm still not sure if I like it but I always accept the offer. The way I figure it, if my doctor asks if he can check my prostrate, my provider can be as courteous. At least do a little taint tasting then ease on back slowly to give me a hint.

I hadn't thought of that as an intentional selling point. I do find her honesty intriguing.
She regularly updates her website. She was saying she had problems with that leg last fall. Then in late December she said she wouldn't be available for a couple months as an amputation was needed. She just returned to work about two weeks ago but on a limited basis. I wish her luck. I wish she had more reviews, but I may TOFTT.

My ex was born without a right leg below the knee. Never slowed her down and I never really thought about it while having sex. She would keep her prosthetic leg on while we fucked.
Unfortunately she could not do doggie, so that may be an issue for others. Her pelvis is tilted from all the years, from birth to adulthood, of walking on a man made leg. That was the only problem from the leg.
The fact that she hated oral was a REAL problem. Hah!

None of them were any issue, but only because my dates were wise enough to give me advance notice so I could prepare appropriately. All of these issues would have created their own challenges if I'd learned of them on the spot.
