old enough to remember the singles bars of the 80's that followed the free-love hippy period of the 70's.  To find women, you have to go where they are.  I'm a few years older than you and while there is no way to hide the years in my face, I have found that if you keep your body fit, muscular and healthy, you can still perform as well as you did in your 30's and 40's.  Because I'm a gym rat I have done my most successful hunting at the gym.  There are a lot of women in their 30's to mid-40's, pre-menopausal, either recently divorced or with a fat husband who are trying to improve their appearance and are open to new sexual partners.  I'm not looking for something permanent because I know once they find a guy to be monogamous with, they will get chubby again, but I'm happy to enjoy the journey with them while they are looking.  If you still have the game in you from when you were younger, there are plenty of woman to bed if you would rather not pay for a professional.

If it was about your looks, which TBH I would not assume, it's likely an outlier. If an escort wants to make good money, being selective about looks isn't going to work out well. While there are some good looking guys who hobby, being exclusive to them would make this a tough career. Good looking guys tend to have different reasons they see provider, like it's easier, more convenient, they're stepping out in a relationship, they're socially awkward, and/or they want younger tail. But if they are single, willing to mingle, and fine with a lady closer to their age, they shouldn't have a challenge. Whereas if you're not that good looking, it's more difficult without paying regardless. But if you put money on the table, as long as you're clean, respectful, and safe, you should not have much of a problem.

If your paying and are clean + respectful their should not be any issues. I verify with real ID. I don't understand the FaceTime verification unless she's just going on looks. Criminal background checks are what's important to me personally.
