If I tell the health clinic I visited a provider when testing for HIV, what will happen?

They'll run the tests. Oh, btw, they'll run the tests if you don't tell them you visited a provider, too.

Maybe ask if you used a condom.

If you say yes, you may get a lollypop.

If you're really lucky and the nurse is cute, she might slip you her number.

If the nurse is a guy, he'll probably ask if it was any good and if you wrote a review on the lady.

In my visits to four clinics in two states over more than a dozen years, I've never been asked who I had sex with, either specifically or generally.  I was asked, once, how many partners I'd had in the last six months, and of those, how many I'd had unprotected sex with, if any.

People who work in clinics have seen far more than most of us can imagine, and guys who have sex with providers are unremarkable.

Two important things:

The most important thing is that if you think you've got something, go to the clinic, get tested and get appropriate treatment.  You mention that you're being tested for HIV -- why not get tested for any STD?  HIV, in fact, is less contagious than many other STDs.

Second, on the whole, providers pose far less of a risk than many civilians.

They always ask me at the place i go to.  Guess they want to know if i get something that the girl isn't spreading something.  I don't lie to them, I don't care what they think.  It's a free test, so you can imagine the people in there. lol

The worst that can happen is they will try to lecture and counsel you about the risks and dangers involved in your promiscuous behavior.
I have been asked the question while being tested if I have had sex for money and/or paid for sex. This was just a general inquiry to gauge my level of risk. It makes no difference how you reply, or how honest you are, just get tested for your own peace of mind and everyone's safety.

You will get the test done you ask for and they might tell you having more than one partner puts your at a higher risk for s.t.d's and h.i.v.. At least that is what my doctor tells me. That is also a good reason to keep thing safe and clean while you see anyone who is not your better half. I always use protection with everyone, everytime to keep myself and the person i'm with safe. It's just the smart thing to do....Good luck to you!

They may remind you to use a condom, even for oral.

They are not going to embarrass you.  They wish more people would get tested.

Why would you tell them anything?  It's none of their business whom you have sex with.

Honesty and truth will set you free from any guilt!
Besides doing the deed my not be legal, but as long as names are not revealed, you're okay!
Incidentally, escorts go to clinics too! Imagine what they must say?
