So that’s what it’s like…started the July 4th weekend with a bang!

Being a relative newbie (have lurked on these board for almost a year), I think I finally experienced what I have been reading—connecting with a provider.

Not knowing what to expect from the hobby experience, much of my thoughts and expectations were about the physical aspects of the experience (the anticipation, the anxiety and the excitement). Today, I not only experienced the company of a young beautiful woman- I enjoyed the conversation and her honesty. I am not sure if she will be an ATF of mine, but she sure gave me a memorable experience (review will be forthcoming).

During our conversations, the topic of why I got into the “hobby” came up. She asked how many providers I have been with and I replied 3, including her (one was FBSM).  I then told her that I got into the hobby because of  TER and I had made my “Bucket List” of “hobby” experiences I wanted to have before I “kick it”.  I told her that I did not want to one day turn and ask the “what ifs”.

I told her, she was my “Brunette Experience”- I can check that off the list. She then asked what else was on my list and our conversation turned into funny moments with her “educating the newbie” on etiquette of a meeting.   I told her I plan to celebrate my birthday at Vegas and shared what I plan on checking off there. After a few laughs, I joked that maybe she can email me more ideas for my list.

My question for the ladies and gents of the board- do you have “hobby version of the bucket list”?

Anyway, just basking in the glow of a great visit with a wonderful provider….so that’s what it’s like- and I love it!

a list of ladies I want to see.  Trouble is, I keep seeing them, and find new ones, so the list never gets any shorter.  If anything, it grows, because I also return to some faves I have seen already.

I don't really have any 'hobby experiences' on the list other than names of ladies.  And they are in not particular order.  Some are out-of-towners so I have to wait until they tour to my city.

Your description as to why to hobby is spot on...on my dying day, I want to be able to smile and say, "Yeah, I did that" rather than say "I wish I had done that, now it's too late."

Having a bucket list is a great thing, but if you play the game right, you will connect with some of the ladies you meet, and will enjoy meeting with them again and again.  I understand and appreciate experiencing the afterglow of that successful first meeting...kind of opens your eyes to the fact that society bullsh*ts you into thinking that The Game is bad, and is somehow cheating.  It's not...this is a winner take all world, and if you have resources necessary to be a player here, why not be?  Beats sitting around, and thinking to yourself "If only...", or "Yeah, but..."  

Enjoy it while you can...which hopefully will be a few decades.  Being a hobbyist gives you a measure of control over your sexual destiny not available to most in the outside world, and that's a great thing!  Welcome to the Machine!

You picked a great place to hang around. We all have our lists. Number one on my list is happening tomorrow, and I can't wait. My hobbying is a little more seldom than most, and I tend to plan way ahead. I even have my the next love of my life planned for October.

I had a bucket list of experiences which I have largely filled with a provider or a civilian.

Threesome, outdoor sex, elevator sex, greek, CIM, sex in hot tub or pool, overnight and on vacation.  Went to Viking Resort a couple of years ago which was an experience.  Took my ATF to Vegas and met 5 other hobbyists with their dates.  That was definitely different to meet another hobbyist outside the waiting room of a massage parlor.  Thinking I need to go to AVN in Vegas so I can meet some more.  I really enjoyed myself.

The nice thing about the hobby is you can go through phases when you see a bunch of different ladies, or you find one and hang on to that one for awhile until your interests change.

I agree with the comment above the hobby is really a great place to explore people and experiences without any strings attached

and I, for one, never get tired of hearing them.

I have to agree on the motivation...  no way to cross them off the list except to hobby.  And great fun it is too.
