I recently joined a Sugar Daddy site.  Armed only with a jungle map and a compass, I decided to explore the Wild Land of the Sugar Babies.  After many narrow escapes,  I've returned from SugarLand with plenty of battle scars & a few arrows through my safari hat.  I present my findings to the TER Committee.  

Sugar Baby sample size:  I had lunch dates with about a dozen Sugar Babies (it's all a bit of a blur).  The scorecard is below.  

Rejections:  Z rejected about half the Sugar Babies because they looked nothing like their photos.  One smoking hot SB rejected Z (ouch!).  I tell you dudes, that rejection stung.  I was a bit careless & didn't notice in her profile that she was slightly taller than me.  But she probably rejected me for other reasons.  You better have thick skin if you want to play.  

Success:  Z bedded four Sugar Babies, two on the first date.  SB1 was a dirty blonde (7 on a 10 scale), great kisser.  SB2 was a cute, petite asian (7/10 scale).  Note that fucking on the first date is the exception, not the rule.  I bedded SB3 after two dates, a hot blonde (8/10 scale), terrific in bed with a tight hot slit...oh fuck.  SB3 was also high maintenance.  I had to cut SB3 loose or face financial ruin.   SB4 is my current Sugar Baby, a stunning 20-year-old brunette (9/10 scale). I took SB4 out on four dates before we went behind closed doors.  But now we're fucking on a regular basis & omg she's nearly perfect.   So it worked out well but you better have patience if you want to explore SugarLand.  

I also discovered my ATF from P411 is also on the Sugar Baby site, lol!   There's some overlap between providers & Sugar Babies.  I wouldn't assume anything about these girls.

I also joined a sugar daddy site (it claims is is the biggest and best site, but due to TER rules I can't mention it except to say it is an arrangement seeking site)  My results after a month are very diiferent from Zs.  Maybe there are not many eligible sugar babies in Minnesota because most of the mail and interest I got was from young women living in far off places, many in different countries.  They all wanted money, some even wanted money an no sex!  WTF??  I did fly one young woman in from another state, we did have sex and she wanted $5K to help her move to my city.  So here is Js scorecard:  45 responses, 16 said I looked hot (I don't) all wanted cash up front and 1 girl came to MN at a cost of $1400 for air and hotel and we had one evening of very mediocre sex (I would rate as 7/4).  Sheesh I could have had hot fun with my ATF several times for that, so to the sugar daddy idea, I must say NO!

MNJohnny247:  Sorry you didn't have much luck.  I did get a few SB e-mails from foreign countries.  One was from a blonde in Sweden with stunning photos who wanted 2000 Euro with a promise to pay me back, lol.  I also got  3 or 4 e-mails from the Philippines.  

  Regarding cash up front:  I paid each girl for our lunch date, from $60-$120 (amount is always negotiable). So you have to spend some $$$ up front to meet the SBs and sift through them.  I didn't fly anyone in, I dealt only with local girls.  It sounds like you didn't have much to choose from--my guess is you're in a very small market.  --z

I know what site you're talking about but have never explored it.
I read that sugar babies can be male or female, but the majority is female.

Biz:  Yep, there's a small percentage of male SBs, but I bet 90% of their play is with gay SDs.  

There are 'Sugar Mamas' out there, but they seem more interested in female SBs.  --z

Fisher:  the difference between hobby vs SD/SB is a bit complicated.  But your observation that SD/SB is a hassle & more expensive:  Yes & Yes.  My motive in going the SD/SB route was I was bored with my P411 provider list--I live in a medium size market & wanted to meet a different set of girls.  If you live in a big market with all kinds of provider choices, then you might just stay with the hobby.  

Overall, the type of girls you meet are different.  There are some providers that have crossed over into SB territory--I suspect the two girls I banged on a first date were providers.  But other SBs are not so easy to bed.   I think that most SBs, including mine, probably have more than one 'arrangement'.  But they don't bang anonymous strangers, they're a bit more selective, based on their own personal criteria.

Another thing:  You don't need to be George Clooney, but you better know how to talk to young women over lunch/dinner & make them feel comfortable with you.  For guys who never talk to providers & just want to strip and fuck, stay with the hobby. The SD/SB route is not for you.  The best hobby candidates are *probably* guys who have an ATF & enjoy OTC time with their ATF.  I'm not sure what you meant by the 'sting' comment, maybe you were joking but one never knows.  regards,  --z

Thank you,  Adriana Monet (what a lovely name).  In regards to 'strings attached', I've been married for over 20 years.  So any SB who thinks she has a string on me can go piss in the ocean.  I don't care if she's a 10/10 scale.  As stated earlier, I dumped the blazing hot SB3 for that reason.  I always try to be a gentleman with every SB/provider that I meet, even if she's a 0/10 scale.  

But my wife holds the only string.  I'm sure she'll eventually dump me & I'll deserve it.  regards, --z

Dear Z,  number one, I am a psychologist, so I have a bit of insight in human behavior, number two I am 62 years old, so I have a bit of insight in life, number three, I was married 25 years so I have a bit of insight into that institution too.  Now, I swear I do not want to be patronizing, or judgmental, much less analyzing, but once you start fishing in some other pier you are speaking volumes about the state of your marriage.  Best cartoon I ever saw in Playboy (about this subject) went like this: a bedroom, over decorated as the cliché boudoir of a prostitute is, the man is getting dressed, the lady is getting dressed and the caption is the lady asking the John, “So, tell me more about this great marriage of yours.”

I offered $400 a week and she took it.  You can negotiate your own deal.  I'm not sure what you mean by 'guaranteed weekly meeting'.  We didn't sign a contract in blood.  Sometimes I miss a week & it's not a problem.  As I stated earlier, I think most SBs have more than one arrangement.  I doubt any top-tier SB depends on just one guy, unless he's fabulously wealthy & she's living in his mansion.

Ah, thanks Biz for clarifying--I think this is what Mac was getting at.  I only pay her $400 when I see her behind closed doors.  I can't afford more than once a week & she understands that.   She's perfectly willing to meet more than once a week.  She doesn't rush anything, there's no 'hourly rate', no time pressure.   She's very similar to my P411 ATF in that regard.  My SB has been very sweet so far.  --z

I have tried an SB site the last few weeks.   Had lunch with one (paid her $100 for lunch only) and she was cute but clearly out of her depth.   Have exchanged emails with a few others but it seems to be way too much work if in fact at the end of the day I am just doing the same as an escort.   So sounds like you might get some time off the clock on a regular basis so that has some value if she is good looking and can carry a conversation.   Based on my one SB experience via Craigslist a few years ago, the earlier comment about the greedy persistence of the SB's is spot on.  The only woman who has ever made me pay more for less is my wife.  I'll stick with the self proclaimed pros.

It's an interesting site for sure, and I have seen some providers on there.  There's one from Vegas a few years back that I hung with for a while.  She was a TER listed provider.  Hot Asian (more Hawaiian, though); under 25 and just a phenomenal body.  The sex was ok, but that body made it worth it!  Some of the other SBs I met weren't worth it IMHO, too many 6's and 7's thinking they were worth the word cause they had a pussy.  Glad someone is having good luck, though :)

I don't write reviews, but I do rate the SBs in my post on a 1-10 scale.  I should clarify here: I think my rating scale is much more stringent than your typical inflated TER review.  Unless I climb in bed with Sasha Grey,  you'll never see a 10/10 rating from me.  Girls that are 10s are not fucking for $300-400 a throw.  Dream on, dudes.  --z

Zangari, I feel tremendous empathy for what you write.  I am very new to the hobby.  I actually started considering it because a lady I used to go to bed with moved from stripping to the hobby full time.  She became a bit more expensive, but I love seeing her still.  Do not get me wrong, I have been paying for sex for a long while, but is has always been more in the guise of lap-dances or “help”.  Anyway, I had developed a good strategy to get stripper ladies to bed, nothing extraordinary, once you start petting really heavy and end up having a blow job or sex in the VIP, it is very easy to ask the lady to do the same at your place for more comfort and for the right price (although nobody will deny the excitement of getting laid at a strip bar).  My point is that you can have a few ladies with which you can be doing this, as long as you can afford it.  The big difference I see with the SB arrangement is that it looks almost like a little bit of a “contract” thing.  If I want to get in bed with one of my lady friends/strippers I look for them and there is never a reproach for how long it took me to look for them since the last time.  It feels to me that with a SB arrangement you would be in for some regular “help” to your SB, and therefore if you lapse for a while you may be dropped by the SB or you may be in for a good bunch of reproach/arguing when you show up again (and that is the last thing I want from someone I am paying for sex).  Still, guys let’s be realistic, I am 62, how else am I going to get in bed with these beautiful “30-some-things”  I have had long term relationships with many of my lady friends.  It is not always that I give them money for the sex we have, once in a while a lady calls me for a $100-$200 “favor” and I oblige.  It is a small price to pay to lubricate the relationship and to reinforce the feeling that there is something more that a one-to-one-dollars-for-sex relationship.  My best euphemism from one of my ATF was “I take care of you, you take care of me”

 I'd rather see my SB (9/10 scale) on  a regular basis than rotate through my P411 list, which is chock-full of providers that are 7/10 scale.  I have no idea what's inside your strip club, but I've never liked that scene. Most of the strippers in the local clubs look slutty & desperate, not the type of girl I'd want to see.  The next time you're in the strip club, look around you.  Half the guys in there look like burnouts & mental patients.  At 62, do you really want to be there?  There are better options out there for you.

For those thinking about a trip to Sugarland:  Remember, It's a different game, & you can't bring a baseball bat to a tennis match.  If you meet a really hot SB, just put-the-ball-in-play.   And be patient.   If you smash the ball over the fence, you haven't hit a home run.  You just lost the point, and probably the match.  The SB will lose interest, because she's not playing your game.  

Learn how to play her game & you'll be rewarded big time.  Good luck, --z
