help the police to derail their nefarious plans? The bad actors will just communicate underground and make it more difficult for LE to catch them before they strike. You keep talking around my question, which is "how does censoring them on social media help prevent bad acts?" If you don't have an answer and are just anti-free speech, merely say so, and I won't ask again.
I wonder how long it will take for SW who left TER to come back, since twitter is beginning to sensor their adds?
I think some of the other sites are gaining momentum as well.
Too many effective platforms out there to justify returning to one they didn’t prefer to use.
None of the smart providers I know are censored.
Social media is not hard. Post a few pics, ignore the trolls, link to your profile.
As a client, I can see what's new without registering.
It's not the end all - be all. Use the web like it is a web.
Whether you advertise on Twitter, Switter, Tryst, PD, etc. any client with experience or common sense is going to come back to whether or not you have reviews. I look at Twitter for extra pics, that's about it, no matter how good you look or how much fun you're having in your pics, I still only care about the service and whether or not it's a rip off. Anyone with common sense would be foolish to book with a provider simply by looking at their Twitter profile. Of course there are some exceptions such as providers you've seen before, providers with a long history of reputable service, etc. but even that is dependent on if the client has been a TER member for enough time to know who said provider is. To answer the question, it all depends on if said provider is raking in enough through return clients while sprinkling in some new guys who don't know or care about reviews.
I like seeing the stuff they post. Tells me if I want to spend time with them or not. So hopefully Twitter backs off
I don't know how effective an ad platform it is for providers, but it certainly must vary by provider attitude. A lot of SW twitter is just virtue signaling among other SWers -- and that generally entails client bashing and man hating. Doesn't really seem like a good marketing strategy.
.
Even the slightest disagreement with some outrageous man hating statement will haven them pounce on you like a pack of rabid dogs.
I follow several on Twitter to see the pictures and to read their comments as well. A girl reveals a lot about her personality in her postings. Does not take long to differetiate the nice ones from the man haters. Lots of nice pics to look at too.
Girls also re-tweet posts which lead me to other girls worth reading. There is a lot of good information on Twitter if you make the effort to read it. Kind of like contact tracing for good sex, instead of virus.
I have even looked at the profiles of a few men located near me to see who they follow. This process has led me to find several good women I would not have known about otherwise.
enforcing their TOS, which they have done routinely since Day 1. I doubt there is some nefarious "provider purge" happening despite claims of such because of SISEA.
As for when providers will flock back to the TER boards... if you're holding your breath, you might want to stop. You'd be amazed at how quickly something said here finds it's way back to the twitterverse; it kind of implies that providers are still keeping up with TER, if not actively posting.
Why keep up with TER?
1. There are a shitload of clients here, and the clients here influence clients elsewhere; How many of us are on other boards and sites as well?
2. Reviews/reputation management matters, and many (most?) have reviews here (even if they don't like it);
3. What clients talk about and do matters, and that won't come out on provider-dominant Twitter.
Just my humble 0.02
Some even have current reviews. Although they don't partake in the minutia of the boards be it here or the regional boards, they're here. And some, in a away still need a review from here as there isn't a more reputable site other then TER.
It's just a shame we couldn't be more inviting to the ladies to lure them back..oh well.
To the 40% or so Twatter crowd, I say good riddance. I find that the ladies who tweet the most and delisted are often the ones not worth meeting. For the life of me, I don’t know why these girls tweet the things that they do. I have become disgusted with so many ladies I formerly lusted after and planned to see. Twitter only took away the smoke and mirrors and showed me their materialism, egotism, mental disorder, and overall general hate for the male sex. I have also found that Twitter blurs the lines of discretion. On more than one occasion I have seen providers basically “out” their own clients by posting pictures of their homes and or Pictures of very identifiable features in the hopes of receiving praise from other providers. My ATF’s are well reviewed and do just fine without Twitter. They both prefer to meet with real clients instead of ranting like tortured buffoons of Twitter. They realize no one book them because they love to hear them rant about their political views, hatred of men, or see pictures of their designer bags and shoes on Twitter. I could not agree more.
You really can get a sense of a lady's personality from her tweets. It has steered me clear of a few I was once interested in (including some with good reviews here), and it has also peaked my interest in some who I was once on the fence about, and turned out to be very good matches with me. The true colors of a provider really come out on that site!
When Twitter emerged, I thought it would be great for SW's .. they could give real-time updates on availability and location, announce specials, etc. I posted this thought on Arby and was laughed out of the room.
I used to have an automated web scraper for Arby's ad board, that worked well .. until it didn't.
What's become popular in (at least in Mexico) are invite-only Telegram groups, but the catch is you need some sort of public site like TER to find out about it in the first place...
as a SW I can tell you we always have issues with websites, always changing rules to delete our profiles or accounts. Nothing new and we can deal with this. If we survived to BP closure, we can find new sites.
If people are confused, your branding won't work no matter where you go. Consistency is key. And also following the rules of the platforms.
The problem with the social media sites before was that you couldn't moderate your own platforms. Nowadays you can shadowban your own following. So their comments are hidden or they are restricted and they don't know it - but you can still see their posts on your pages, so can they, but other people can't.
It depends on the platform, but it is a nice feature and it helps a lot.
The censoring is up to the person posting more and more lately I'm noticing. I hope this continues to evolve and improve, because the blanket algorhythm approach is frustrating.
Following the rules is super important. Posting links is pointless these days on twitter. If one posts a link, there is no point, as it does not show up in anybody's feed and gets no engagement. It also sets off red flags as spam to the algorhythms, which pushes people into invisible status.
It's confusing, but there could be a lot of money had if used properly. Free advertising costs time OR care/strategy/consistency/predictability. Paid advertising or paid social media specialists costs money, but saves a lot of time.
the SB their own following... I've notice this too! -
discussion about Twitter censoring or possibly shutting down providers/porn stars twitter accounts.
I use it to post my tour and local schedule, new selfies/videos and RT other providers/adult entertainers.
Who knows if some will come back or not.At the end of the day every lady does what works best for her.
And part of this comes from my lack of social media platform expertise. I'll look at a twitter or FB page of a provider or porn star but will never like, follow or engage in ANY communication. This is only when following a link from a place like this. I NEVER search a social media platform for this either from my social media. I won't set up a second social media account for this either just because there's so much info that flows back and forth. I can write an email about stuffed bunny toys and somewhere, an ad pops up on social media. I really don't think there is a way anyone can start a twitter/fb/instg et al account and feel secure about remaining anonymous.
Social Credit is coming sooner than most people think.
Amen!
.
Avoid social media like the plague that it is! Their goal is to connect everyone ... whether they want to be connected or not.

only "social media." I have never joined any of the others. One might argue that it makes me one-dimensional in that everything in my life is related to sex. Maybe it is, but why would that be considered a BAD thing? Lol
