So girl posted on Twitter that she got a random Providers request for dinner date to her personal work email...

I got one to my work email from same person
They are using a reputable providers name in email saying that person gave them your information

Also texts from random Providers are going out saying book me I'm in Las Vegas for Super bowl...

If we start advertising this way it's going to bring Heat we don't want...I don't think you need to use email lists or phone list and send out Mass emails and texts for advertising in business.

There are plenty of sites and social media that is available

Stop bringing unnecessary Heat to the community by becoming spammers

Thanks 👍

But in the last few weeks I got an unsolicited email and an unsolicited text from purported providers. I deleted and blocked each one. I presume anyone who would do that is either a scammer or very careless. Either way, I'm not biting.

Those are not providers, those are scams. The only gentlemen that I contact are those that have contacted me first. Yes, delete and block is the best option for unsolicited messages. Also, if you are sent any links in the message do NOT click on them!!

I've seen nothing of the sort. I'd guess it's limited to one booker.

In terms of this bringing heat on the hobby, I don't really think so. Spam's a federal issue, and the feds don't really police spam, much less whorecraft, so, not much to worry about.

Now that I think of it, I'm not sure why this isn't a more common thing honestly.

It sounds like a scam. Reputable provides have more discretion. Discerning clients have more savvy.
