Every other site I visit loads fine. I tried different browsers (Firefox, chrome, opera), turned off image loading, disabled add-ons....no improvement. I thought that it might have been the result of an auto- update of either the browsers or the anti-virus/malware programs, but it seems to only be TER. Weird. Loading on my cell is fine- nice & quick. Haven't tried it on my tablet recently.
Anyone else dealing with this on their desktops? Is TER perhaps making some of those gradual changes that they warned us about?
I recently read a review about a provider who showed up at his home, spent a long time in the bathroom, a long time taking a tour of the house, a long time doing nothing, a long time avoiding doing anything ... eventually, it took about 60 minutes to load 5 minutes worth of service (and he gave her a 9-3).
Fortunately for him, she was not the only game in town.
Oh ... TER seems normal to me on a desktop. I pay for an hour, I get an hour.
10 p.m. EST or so then like you said it takes minutes to load a page. Next morning it's back to normal. This has happened the last 3 nights. I give up on it. I assume they (TER) areworking on it with updates and what have you. It's a pain in the ass. The last time it was this slow was several years ago but it wasn't just late evening it was all the time. Posters complained about it repeatedly.
