Fake review and no help from TER

I am very upset and discouraged that TER has not cared to respond to multiple messages about a fake review posted in my reviews. The review is fake, malicious and was intended to discredit my reputation..... as that is clear based on reading all of my other reviews..... and for icing on the cake  TER will decline reviews without enough detail but apparently if it's fake, with malintent and no details they have no problem posting it.
I have heard through other providers that have had this problem as well with TER and being extremely misogynistic.

That it's a fake review. It can take a couple days for a review to show up, maybe they just haven't got to your message yet?

Thank you for the encouragement. Xoxo :)

... asking TER to tell the reviewer to submit evidence that the session actually occurred, e.g. an email?  Since its documented that email is your only method of contact, you can assert that if there's no email from you confirming the session, the review is fake and needs to be removed.

Sorry this happened to you.

I read your reviews and "THE" review. Really weird.
If I were going to visit SF and was looking and read your reviews, I would certianly not returned off by "THE" review. It does seem you should be able to get it removed.

There are no details at all.... why TER even post this review based on that?

... a review like that would often get rejected for lack of detail.  But not always. We have to keep in mind the folks who approve reviews are human beings, thus there can be inconsistencies and mistakes.

And I've found response to problem reports is usually slower on weekends.  And they could be trying to contact the reviewer to have him prove he saw you.

I know that's easy for us to say, but it's true. I guarantee you no one but no one who's be in the hobby longer than a week will take that review seriously.

And fwiw, I'd be surprised if TER doesn't eventually take it down. It's just too silly not to.

Sorry you have to go through this!!

I tend to be skeptical over uniform 9/10 reviews.  Anyway, I'd certainly discount the last one.  You're worrying far too much over it, though you're right to try to get it removed if you can.

If you think that's fun? Wait until you have reviews rejected because they aren't "juicy" enough (read pornographic enough for evidence in a criminal case ) or are accused of schilling/sucking up to the provider, or generally accused of lying because someone was trying to write something flattering without sounding like a rank amateur attempt at writing a Penthouse forum fiction letter. I have had 3 reviews rejected so far, much to the surprise of my clients who were attempting to submit them. Because they weren't cheap enough that the 14 day free VIP pass or whatever you get for writing a review had any value to them, they (thankfully) didn't embellish anything and just let the matter drop.

Still not amusing enough? Once the review is written, there is a THREE MONTH window where the reviewer can go back and change any damn thing they want in the review or completely re-write if they realize that their first review was too clearly a case of whiny baby tantrum because a provider didn't do X, Y or Z for them and this was just a revenge review. Yep, 3 MONTHS later they can go back and clean that mess up and make it sound like something that reflects better (and less honestly) on themselves so if you want to see where a review stands - wait 3 months and go back to see what the, then permanent, review looks like.

And no, TER doesn't typically do anything unless you can provide nearly legal prosecution levels of evidence that you were somewhere else, with someone else, never saw this person, offered that service, etc, etc, etc

All this aggravation and these particularly nasty liars get rewarded with 14 day VIP passes. Nice huh? Welcome to the club. If you are a provider, you can't really win around here because even if you end up with 100 good reviews, then all discussion is suspicious speculation about how in the hell you could have possibly gotten 100+ positive reviews.....

and the beat goes on.

Oh honey. The sheer numbers of providers who have the EXACT same stories about this nonsense... literally, the exact same stories. All you have to do is ask other providers and especially the ones who have left TER.

I will keep posting and contacting TER.

be warned, do not overplay your hand with TER, or you may find yourself banned  This has happened to a few gals I've known who pressed their case to hard.

Be very respectful and patient, and maybe TER will come through.  If you irritate them, you could end up outside looking in.

I have always been virtuous and respectful, it ahpuls also be reciprocated. I know other ladies who have asked to be delisted and I there were ignored.... it goes both ways with all due respect. ❤️

Might consider changing last name to begin with "F"

Then her first two initials are DT. Full name would be DTD.

DTF is a tinder acronym, it means "down to fuck"

Oh. Haha. Blame it on the PUI. Too many responses between the one where she said that and yours for me to put that together last night, a few beers in. Still wouldn't have known DTF anyways though. Thanks.

And read my response to you way down on this thread. I've been around for a good long time, and have experienced this recently and WAY back in '08 as well. Don't send them multiple messages, give them a chance to get back to you. Pissing TER off won't help your cause. Just read my reply further down and chill for now.

Best advice I've seen in this thread.

It is extremely easy to call some one or some organization that did something you don't like misogynistic, racist, fascist or whatever.  And certainly an organization can't prove the negative - so it's awfully tempting to do it.

I don't see that the described behavior is misogynistic.

Probably mistaken;  probably biased in favor of the reviewer.   And they get to do that - it's their site.

But I don't see that deciding not to pull your review illustrates a hatred, dislike or mistrust of women as a class.   You should reserve this sort of thing for people who REALLY deserve it.

Throwing this stuff around at the drop of a hat just dilutes the effect when it is really needed.  Though honestly, I think that boat has already sailed....

I recently got one that said I lived in LA, don't speak good English and my name is Tiffany....  Luckily I contacted the dude to point out the obvious and he took it down.  Come on TER isn't there a way providers can verify that a reviewer has seen them in an anonymous way?  You are losing money on these fake reviews by giving out free VIP.

If you did a Report a Problem on your profile, redo and click on were it says "Contact Us at the bottom of the page. TER usually will send some kind of response.

Getting a fake review removed doesn't happen overnight. It takes time. Yours just popped up in Dec. And IMO bringing it to the General Board isn't helping you in getting it removed. I had a fake revenge review removed. I know a fake review like yours brings a lot of anxiety for you. You want it gone NOW when you see it. I know that feeling.

There is a process and IMO the more professional you are when communicating with TER (I'm not saying you weren't) and not bugging them a lot about it while they "investigate" it is the best route to take. State your case, wait for a response...and wait a week--ten days before contacting then again. I know it's hard to do.

I think you have a good case for getting it removed, it just takes time. It looks blatantly fake to me. Oh, and I were you, I'd hit the "report this post" and ask for this tread to be removed, and join the Providers Only Board if you aren't a member there yet. It's a better place to vent! ;-)

Steph xoxo

I know for a fact that she just went through something very similar. She didn't come on the board and call TER out publicly for their oversight, she went through the proper channels, took her time and believe it or not, the system worked and the offending review was pulled.

I don't mean to be a TER apologist, but with well over a million reviews and hundreds more added every day, mistakes are going to happen and stuff is going to fall through the cracks. What you need to avoid is the label of being BSC, or "angry and bitter" Obviously you are going to be angry, that's just human nature, but PLEASE be careful not to cross over into "bitter" territory, that will cost you more business than an obviously fake review which is unlikely to cost you even a single appointment.

Sounds like the reviewer in question has buyer's remorse.  Paid too much-wasn't worth the investment.  Also-I too am highly skeptical when I read about a gal with basically pure 10/10's!

Is that even really possible ???

I know over the years some of my most disappointing events were with highly rated-overpriced gals !

Best thing this gal can do is move on ......

But.....she will be what she will be !

I will agree that the score(s) may be artificially low but on the other hand I don't think its a fake review.  I genuinely believe the client feels like he overpaid for mediocre service and looks - predicated on inflated scores.

OPs posting on the board, whining about it, is additive to all the evidence provided to make me unlikely to see her.

While the score(s) are low, I understand and believe the sentiment behind them.
