It seem since I left Mays Landing, NJ.......Business slowed down.  I've been in absecon for 6 days and had 3 guys. What's the deal?!!  I left Mayslanding due to the fact that my neighbors were way too nosey (And I felt that My neighbors at that time.......would call the police. That's only 50% to 95% of the reason). Therefore I tried to get out of the Mays Landing, NJ Area. In hopes of  less stress & More pleasure as well as fun.

1. Fear mongering about covid-19. Making folks scared to hobby.

2.  News media focusing on social security running out and folks not saving enough for retirement.  Some are putting more into retirement investments instead of the hobby.

3.  Impact of hurricane IDA in NJ.

4. Some providers over charged resulting guys retired from the hobby reducing demand.

5. Baby boomers retiring from the hobby.

I think most of these ideas are true.  #1  being the biggest kahuna.

We also just got done primetime vacation taking so I would think everyones wallets are a bit lighter. And it's back to school for many. The Delta variant wreaking havoc plays a part too, one would think.

I agree labor day weekend, holidays seem to bring out providers and most guys have family however I was clean truck stop showers.

The reasons listed above are definitely valid when it comes to things slowing down, especially in the Northeast I imagine; however, I think slow times are just part of the natural rhythm of any given year.

Business never stops, but things do slow down a tad and I have noticed those times are usually right after Christmas until right after tax season (late December to early May: depending on when a client pays their taxes), spring/summer holiday weekends +/- a few days (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day), and late August/early September in general due to change in schedules in correlation to the start of the school year for K-12.

With runaway inflation, risk of the Fed tightening soon, possible stock market and property crashes. unemployment insurance ending for millions, ongoing political fiascos... along with Covid outbreaks increasing,  and the media crazy over it, I think a lot of people are a bit stressed and likely are trying to save $.

When I wake up, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next to you
When I go out, yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you
When I get drunk, well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you
And when I haver, hey I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you
… And I would roll 500 miles
And I would roll 500 more
Just to be the man who rolls a thousand miles
To fall down at your door
… When I'm working, yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's working hard for you
And when the money, comes in for the work I do
I'll pass almost every penny on to you
When I come home(When I come home), well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home to you
And when I grow old, well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's growing old with you
… But I would roll 500 miles
And I would roll 500 more
Just to be the man who roles a thousand miles
To fall down at your door
Just trust me this man for you.

When I was in Chicago Sept would always be my slowest month. Mostly because kids back in school and guys could not sneak away as easily. Pocket books went to school stuff as well. Try diversifying and offering just massage not full service. I do bdsm as well. If I continued to rely on one source I would have starved to death. Also keep in mind when entering a new area it takes a few months to get established which is why touring is hard. Guys want to make sure you are not fake and a scam so they will watch your ads for months before deciding to call. Good luck.

Thanks for making this point so clear from a provider's perspective. This is very true about ads in general. And this is why reliable TER reviews are so damn important. And, ultimately, this is why TER should want to improve their procedures for processing reviews!

You would benefit because guys would be quicker to (write and) accept reviews, guys would benefit because they could go see a new girl with increased confidence, and TER would benefit because more guys would pay to benefit from this resource. Win, win, win. Girls and guys need to unite to push for meaningful changes to the TER review processes!

Tina, just out of idle curiosity, why is it that you no longer work in those areas, did you once live near there and have moved away, or were you just touring there and it's now off your schedule?
