what are the top reasons for seeing a provider outside the relationship?

I'm sure this topic has come up, I'm just new here and my curiousity is sparked from seeing lots of references to the S.O. (been lurking) and I enjoy a light hearted thread...
so what are your best excuses, I mean reasons, for paying for fun when it's free at home?  Entertain me

But it's really more the first than anything else.

     hit by a drunk driver and after a long hospitalization finds she is no longer capable of having sex in any traditional way. Maybe her SO still loves the hell out of her but after trying to do without sex for a long time decided that seeing providers was a lesser form of cheating than having a "traditional" affair. Not so light-hearted I know but it is what it is.

I have seen a woman after children, two of them...who takes good care of herself...she's still got it, I check her out everytime I pass the mirror ...this is what happens when you eat your fruits and vegetables

I do not want to start any other personal relationships with another civvie girl, since I already have one. There are too many beautiful women out there, and I have to satisfy my curiosity. So, variety is the number one reason why I hobby.

My SO is attractive, but, I've been with her for a while, and it gets boring after a while. You know the feeling. Its better that I get my satisfaction from being tempted by a provider than being tempted by a coworker or her friends. I don't want to deal with the personal responsibilities of establishing another civvie relationship. Even if you find a friend with benefit, or a NSA civvie, there will always be personal responsibilities associated with those relationships. With a provider, there is no personal responsibilities.

Everyone's different.  Sex may not even be the big factor.  Boredom.  Need to feel young. Danger.  Forbidden fruit. (temporary "rush" from illusion of intimacy, romance.  Depends.  A provider once asked me if I wanted sex.  Said a number of clients did not.

Intercourse with the SO is virtually impossible.  She tries, because she wants to please me, but the pain is too great and we have to stop.

Not being able to have intercourse for more than 2 minutes if at all for 15 years makes it no longer seem like sex when we do oral.  She cannot really enjoy oral either.

And anal?  Nope, she can't go there, never allowed me to try, it grossed out by it.

So I have these incredibly wild fantasies about having plain old regular sex, no whips, toys, threesomes, etc, etc, etc.  Just the simple act of intercourse with someone that is not wincing and withdrawing because of excruciating pain.  

My wife can understand me finding sexual relief.  She would not forgive an affair because that is personal, sex not so much. Especially with providers.  So providers are the best choice for me.

Boredom and with things so fucked up in the world in general and with long term prospects for things turning around anytime soon not looking good I figured I may as well have some fun before the shit really hits the fan.

I love california, I'll be back as soon as possible...but not sure when that will be  hopefully sometime this winter

this may not be a cross section...  bias toward those who like "new" a bit more.  It's not "free at home"...  it's rarely, if ever, available at home.   If it was available regularly at home...  I would stop this hobby.  Maybe I'm an exception...  but I think there are quite a few more like me.

I started because I realized progression of my injury which may take my ability.  I realized there were experiences I wanted that I would never have at home.  So I opted to go outside.  Now, I have had many of those experiences...  so I feel less push.  On the other hand, I've found certain thngs I like which are NOT an option at home ever.  Like I love CG.  Too much effort for SO.
 
Meanwhile, SO has totally lost interest is sex.  So even less likely at home than when I started.  I expected the same amount of sex at home...  but somehow that hasn't happened.  It's not like I haven't been available or suggesting it...  It's that I'm hitting a stone wall.

Been married almost ten years, and for me the reasons are as follows:

1. The wife agrees to put out about once every six months.
2. When she does give it up, thre is no oral allowed for either of us, just some lube and a quick mish with her looking as if she can't waitt until I finish.
3. She weighs more than I do, and I don't really want to see her without any clothes on.
4. Her presence, in general, annoys me, making it difficult to even think about sex with her.



So instead of a quickie with an unattractive woman I can't stand to be around, I can drop a few bills on a beautiful, younger, hard-bodied honey who will provide me the reasonably vanilla sex that I want. Like a BJ without the continuous "Are you almost done yet?"

Someone should remind any women that has kids with you what you really think....and that dog reference, wow, words escape even me....is your GF in real life challenged in any way? I mean she'd have to be to deal with a winner like you with that attitude.

It's amazing what a touch of love and respect can do when answering a subject such as this. I feel for you and her and  totally respect your reasons for doing this, not that my motivation for respecting you has anything to do with your choice. I just felt compassion for you and her when I read this.

Nice to see that you have NOT turned into a bitter little boy bitch and slammed the entire female species as your excuse/reason for stepping out as some have done.

This is gonna sound a little odd, but the occasional visit to a provider actually helps me liven things up with my SO... sometimes I learn something new that I'd like to bring in or it's just that it helps me feel a little more alive and free - perhaps a little less "tied down".   If I got caught wouldn't be dumb enough to tell her "I did it for you", but in the long run I hope someday she'll be open to a three-way
