I'm getting ready to set out for Vegas, have been reading sites and do pre-screens and have been shocked at the number of ladies who say they want my real name to book the appointment, and then will want to see my ID when I get there.

No, I have not. If you are an established client there should be enough ways to verify. Move on to other ladies. There are certain boundaries that should not have to be crossed.

If you can't flash your ID or cough up your real name....some other guy is more than happy to. Move on....she will not be heartbroken because she didn't see you. Trust she will keep booking and not give you a second thought.

... P411 OKs, my preference is to go with providers for whom that's sufficient, rather than give them my real name and ID.

I have for a select few that required it. Never had an issue. It really depends on whether you think the risk of exposure is worth it. In my opinion, as long as you do your research and choose wisely there is little risk.  

If it's part of her screening process and you want to see her, that seems simple enough.  

Personally,  I am surprised every provider doesn't verify your real name and who you are before booking a date. Perhaps I have watched too many episodes of criminal minds. How can you properly screen a person without knowing their real name?  I guess I am naive on the subject.

ust as ladies wish to screen in ways that make them comfortable, a hobbyist should provide only the information that makes him comfortable. If a lady wants to see your driver's license at the start of a session as her final screening requirement, and you are not comfortable doing so, then the two of you are not a good screening match... Just move on to another lady.  

That goes from a lady's screening requirements to outcall vs. incall  to anything and everything about the date itself.

I've never, not once, given my last name.  I have plenty of references and WhiteListings.  It's very rare that ladies even ask my name - less than 5% - and there's only been two times, that I can remember, that a lady wouldn't see me w/o my last name.

I will give my real name (and have) to ladies with long track records.  If someone new pops up and doesn't have any kind of history, then no, probably not.  I do have P411 and so she can accept that or not in that case

BUt then you can only see ladies who don't require it. I get a real name and ID out of almost all my clients. Honestly, if you're visiting someone reputable, and you're not some public figure, you really have very little to worry about. If you don't want to give your name then don't. But don't think that its uncommon to give your name. Just as there are many providers mid to high range who don't take a name, i think just as many do.

I have hobbied using an alias for as long as I have been hobbying - the same way the ladies do.  If a lady wants to verify me, she can use my hobby name to contact any number of references who will know me by that name and vouch for me.  I joined P411 under that name and have plenty of OKs there.   I thought about getting a fake ID with my hobby name on it but figured its too much trouble.  I've never been asked for ID.  If a lady expected to see my ID before a session, I would find a different lady.

I would do it again though. A little nerve racking. She would have to be really special similar to the first one.

If you don't give us your real name. and how do we know that you didn't pull a bait and switch (yes clients do this as well) and have a friend contact us and then you show up... I've heard of groups of friends using the same TER handle or P411 screen name and providers not confirming that they are actually them. Anyone can email me saying they are Bob Smith with 5 white lists 87 reviews and 19 Okays, but how do I know that's really who is walking through my door, especially when most clients don't give a basic description of what they look like we never know who is on the other side of the door or even a vague knowledge of what they look like. So I ask for full name and I trust my gut to ask for ID's if I feel the need to.  

I don't really have anything to add to what hasn't already been said but was wondering if providers asking for ID and Real ID are not signaling they are definitely not LE -- seems that any sting setup would want to make things easy rather than raise the bar to get in.

First , I only see very well reviewed very established ladies but even so,  
I am 56 y/o, Single, Never married, no children, sold my business and completely retired and although not rich, I never have to worry about money again.
She going to tell some body I paid a good-looking ladies for great sex?? now that would absolutely shock my friends and family.

have provided this info. Most were newbies with no references (a few were infrequent dabblers who felt embarrassed to ask previous providers for references). These men have tended to be repeat clients.  

wanted to see my airline boarding pass to prove I was a tourist and not LE. Not a problem as she took a quick look (my finger was covering my last name) and said "Shall we get comfortable?"  Great time.

I've got no problem with telling my real name, I do it all the time when setting up appointments. ID, I've got enough references that I don't feel like I need to show ID to a provider (and I would not set an appointment with a provider that asks for an ID)

There are thousands of ladies who will see you without you needing to show your ID, if you use a service like P411.
That was my hobby path.

Yeah, I made one exception too.  The lady had perhaps the best body I had ever seen in photos (playboy, actresses, porn, anybody)- and damn if she wasn't even more stunning in person.  An artist could not have come up with a women with better measurements and perfect full natural breasts.  So after months of lusting after her, I eventually gave in, lol.  She turned out to be a sweetheart too.  Caught her just before she quit the business.  Lucky me.  But never could be tempted again to provide my info.  That was a once in a lifetime thing for me.

I always use my own email address when communicating with a provider and use my own name, I've never had a reason not to. I'm not married or in a relationship of any kind so there's no one to catch me out, blackmail would be a waste of time and any legal proceedings would require the provider to be outed too.
