Touring provider replies to my email. 6 months late..confused_smile

A provider was coming into my area last year and I thought I would contact her to set something up. Sent a nice but short introductory email, and no reply. So I moved on.
Now she wants to tour my area again, and guess what?...She wants me to book her. How sweet is that? If her phone is silent, that would be me.

Should I tell her where to go, or not answer her email?

Reply to her e-mail.  Tell her no thanks and be sure to tell her why her poor business practice has cost her business.

prefer to see local ladies in the city I'm visiting since they are more apt to give better service since they have a stake in the local area and are not just passing thru.

let her know you had contacted her previously with no result.I would have to agree with keystonekid on it depending on how much you wanted to see her if you decide to take advantage of her offer to try to set up another appointment.

and in getting ready for this tour she e-mailed all prospective clients in area she is getting ready to tour

Yep.  Real example of Dumb.  (insert sarcasm here)

I have to agree with reality.  The provider  likely got slammed with emails before but extended an invitation to you this trip.  I have to admit..  If you would have used your real handle here I would have noted and avoided you.  Any man who calls a woman *dumb* for not responding in a timely manner is..  well- not a gentleman I would want to see.  And I'm sure you wouldn't want to see me.  I'm TERRIBLE at responding to emails in a timely manner!  I have the best  intentions and, after screening and my number is given- dates are a breeze to set up.  But it's that first step that takes me forever due to life's distractions. We all have our faults.

If I contact a lawyer and get no response the first time, then months later the lawyer calls me back, I am not hiring him/her either!  Same with a dentist, psychologist, gardener or any other profession.

I would not be rude to her, however.  Just reply and simply state that you will not be available during the time of her trip.

If I ran my business like many (not all, not even most) providers run theirs I would be bankrupt. If I ignored a potential customer for six months them out of the blue I contacted them and asked for business I wouldn't be surprised if I got told exactly where to go and how to get there in the most graphic of terms. And it would not be to any place pleasant.

Please note there is a big difference between a few weeks and a half a year. After half a year that is cold contacting and it is proof she is storing emails (or at lest email addresses and physical locations) long term. Both can be dangerous to her potential clients. It also shows a lack of respect and courtesy to her potential client.

Now I would not call the woman "dumb" for such an over sight but I would call her very unprofessional. Since providers charge $200 to $2000+ an hour I don't think it is to much to ask for her to act like a professional. I expect all those I pay to act in a professional manor. Even those I only pay $9.25 an hour to or even the kid I am paying at a fast food counter for my food for that matter.

What I would do in his case is email her back asking her politely to delete my contact information and why I want it deleted. I personally would not tell her off, yet she was clearly in the wrong in more then one way in this case.

He has some cause to be irked at her in my opinion. Just like you would likely be irked at a lawyer, doctor, plummer, or hairstylist you contacted got back to you six months after you contacted them.

Just my two cents,

I have a real and deep soft spot for D.

I know you know this, now.

I was going after a set of behaviors though that if she is guilty of she would do well to address those behaviors.

Ignoring an email that was complete and polite enough to want to save the information is a bit rude but very forgivable and understandable. Lets call it strike one.

Saving information like email addresses without permission is a bad idea and can lead to trouble for the guy if she should get busted. I know because "I been there done that and got the T shirt" when my former ATF got busted. That would be strike two.

A lot can change in six months. Plus lets face it, a lot of guys are idiots and use there personal email to hobby. Contacting a guy six months later can cause him issues as he could have been busted by his wife who is now monitoring his email or found a SO and is sharing his PC. Contacting a client after six months is basically cold contacting and is a very bad idea. That is strike three. Three strikes your out.

Also note I was not advocating being rude, in anyway. The email I would write if I was the OP would be a very polite turn down of her offer with a request to have her delete my contact information, with an explanation as to why for her benefit. I would not write anything derogatory or mean in it.

Mike, from what you have told me and from other sources I am sure Destiny is a great lady and a good provider. I was addressing the behavior addressed by the OP and not calling out anyone. If it seemed that way to anyone I apologize. My posts on this thread was not meant as a personal attack on anyone.

It is one thing to not answer my email, but to have the nerve to contact me 6 months later and say, "I am available", is yet another.
If she would have answered my first email and said she was booked solid, I would have understood. No, she didn't need me then, and I don't need her now.

She's not hot enough for me to want to play games.

I guess you missed the part where he said "Now I would not call the woman "dumb" for such an over sight but I would call her very unprofessional."

you ain't selling pussy! And that is all the difference in the world.  I don't care if she never got back to me.  As long as she's hot, I'll trot.  And, yes, I know.  I am a slave to my own dick.  If that's such a bad thing then why am I so fuckin' happy?

A provider blows off a guy and half a year later hits him up for money.  You basically admit that you could see yourself doing something similar and guys jump to your defense.  I've seen your pictures and looked at your reviews.  No doubt that you're hot, but it proves that guys will trip over their brothers to sniff the ass of a pretty woman, in spite of her having a track record of poor behavior.  It's not you.  Clearly, we are our own worst enemy.

emails to providers get stuck in spam and are not found until the recipient is cleaning her box.

As others have said, there could be lots of reasons she was unable to get back.  At worst, I'd ignore it, but it would depend on her Hotness Level.  I will forgive and forget almost anything for a Major Hottie.  I am a Pussy-holic.

Several years ago, I called a lady and never received a response.  3 years passed and contacted her again via email and she again failed to respond...or so I thought.  After a week, I tried again and she was johnny on the spot.  It turned out her messages had gone to my spam. The egg was on my face.

We had a wonderful session during which I told about my first try 3 years prior and she was dumbfounded as to why she would not have responded. No biggie. We laughed and I booked again.  Now that I am much more seasoned in the hobby I look back on that phone call and I only left a first name and my cell number and nervously mumbled it all.  During this time, she probably had 5 other calls/emails from experienced hobbyists that knew how to make a proper introduction.

If I had sought to lay blame and manufacture a grudge like you I would never have met a most wonderful lady.

Relax and hobby on, Dude

Obviously she blew you off on her last visit either because she was booked up or just plain didn't get to you. It's up to you if you want to see her or not.  If you do then respond, if you don't just ignore her.

Sometimes a good "fuck you" just hits the spot. lol

Unprofessional at best, pretty fucking rude would be my assessmennt. Besides it might take her another six months for her to tell me "fuck you too" in return. lol

You don't want to think you're above a good "fuck you." I think you relish in the fact that are not above such things.

Besides if you ever went all nice on us and was above a good "fuck you", we would think you went all soft like your brother. ;) LOL :D

but he makes up for it on other boards. lol

I have to confess. Unless she was really, really, really hott, I am sure I would not be able to resist the urge to make some type of snide remark to her. My brother might have the willpower to stay "above it" when his name is in red,  but I have no illusions in that regard.

Some women just seem to have no limits where it comes to nerve, and this one seems to fit that bill to a tee.

Yea, but at least he has the stones to tell her what she needs to be told unlike the majority of the pussy whipped toads found in these parts.  These women harp on being considered as "professional companions" by us male folks so when they don't act in a 'professional' manner they need to be outed for it.

This happened to me a few months ago. I was travelling to Philly for Whiskey Fest last November, and saw great reviews for a young hottie who does incalls near my hotel. No response to my email, but since then she has emailed me asking when I am coming to town again. Just hit the DELETE button...
