Site Down Yesterday?

I noticed that the site was down yesterday for most of the day.  Any clue what happened?  Hacked?

I had problems getting in.  Found that if I went to my history and accessed a page other than the main disclaimer page I could get on just fine.

Yeah, I had problem getting on the other day too... it was quite frustrating as I am quite addicted to TER you know and got to have several fix a day...  at least everything is normal now... *shrug*

i was having problems as well, and couldn't get on by using "www.theeroticreview.com". However, by just typing "theeroticreview.com" after the http:// prompt, it connected fine.

now, it looks as though you can connect either way.

if there was some system upgrade or maintenance planned, i don't recall seeing any mention of it on the boards or on the front page.

The site did not go down, just the redirector for the "www" portion of the name.  Anyone using http://www.theeroticreview.com had problems; people who used http://theeroticreview.com had no problems.  We had a problem with one of the web servers and had to work on it, unfortunately the tech did not know the same server handled redirection of the www name.  What a dumb ass.  :-)

No need for name calling of the tech who didn't realize the redirection issue!!  :)  We appreciate him/her working hard to fix the server so we, TER addicts, can get back on as soon as possible!!  :)
