So, I usually don't consider this kind of service, since I never saw any provider I'd want to hang out longer than a few hours (for free of course, but not by paying them).

Anyway, I still see some providers 24 hour rates sometimes and this sort of made me wonder about what other ppl think. So, they charge $250/hr $400/2hr and so on, but then its like $2000 or so for 24 hours?????? And I have seen those kind of numbers quite often. Right, so I get it 2000/24 is ONLY around $85/hr. Well, but its not like I am going to screw her 24 hours nonstop. In a 24 hour period I can do it 3-4 times, maybe 5 if she is totally hot. I am pretty sure if someone can spend more than $1000 on an extended  "date" he has a nice place to stay, etc. etc. I am guessing the provider will be invited to all kind of food that is consumed, will stay in a probably nice environment and so on.

PLUS you will probably have to sleep too (or is that deducted from the 24 hours?). So you can deduct another 6 to 8 hours. So there are actually only about 16 hours in which the provider can wine and dine for free.

So, how come its so expensive? Is it just because of their opportunity costs? So most providers would rather have 10 one hour appointments (=$2500) in a day than spend 24 hours with one person?

Any opinions? I'd also like to hear providers opinion if they read this. Thanks.

So you wouldn't want to be around a provider for more than a few hours, and you can't understand why they charge so much?  Maybe it's because they need to be "on" for 24 hours.

When circumstances and budget permit, I love to spend either overnight, or 24 hours and sometimes several days on vacation with a favorite escort.

It is fun and interesting to spend time with a person, to see shows, go dining or just go for a walk around time.

My favorites are people who can share experiences and knowledge on various topics of conversation and I also have a good time.

There is a certain joy to not be a slave to the clock, to know that if something good is going on, that you can let it run to it's natural conclusion.

I dare say that quite a few hobbists share these good times.

I've got to agree completely. I just spent the last two and a half days of a six day vacation with a provider in Cartagena, Colombia.

Spending multiple days with the same provider is something I treat myself to several times a year. When its with the right lady you don't even remember she's a provider.

Do you actually work every second of the day?  Not counting lunch or any other official breaks, what about time you spend talking to friends on the phone, browsing the internet, getting coffee, daydreaming, looking out the window, checking out the ladies, eating snacks during the workday, going to the bathroom, etc.,?

Despite the misconception, people are not paid to work all the time, they are paid to be available to do the work.  That is why the concept of a "slow day" exists, because there isn't always work to do and most people aren't interested in taking on any extra unnecessarily.  Yet they expect to be fully paid just the same.

As such, if you want a provider to spend time with you, you need to pay her since she could be doing something else, either on her own time, or getting more business.

I'm sure you calculate every minute of downtime you have at work and insist that your employer not pay you for it -- right?

My fee (like 5 years ago) for an overnight was between 1000-1500. I don't offer overnights now.

I felt that my rate was very reasonable because the gent paid for the room, we had drinks, dinner, entertainment, ie. casino (money he provided), head to the room for a little fun. Breaktime, showering together and heading for the sack again and sleeping.

(I honestly enjoy what I do. I don't lie or fake and when I come...you know!)

You just have to find someone who is willing to have a set fee. Write to them, most times they do compromise.

I am paid for my time, not per minute engaged in sex acts. Furthermore, 24 hours with a client may be enjoyable, but it is still time that I am spending in which I cannot be with my family or friends, do my schoolwork, take a nap or lounge in sweats, do housework or errands, or take other appointments and make other income. Plus, as pointed out, I have to be "on" for 24 hours. I enjoy what I do, but I certainly feel pressure to be at my best on a date- paid companionship means that I am putting someone else's needs and wants first, and that is what you are paying for.

Furthermore, I did a couple overnighters with new clients early on, and have since decided that I will not ever do an extended date unless I have gotten to know the person previously through shorter dates. It is just not a good idea unless you both know that you are compatible and have the desire to spend time together.

Since you claim you have never met someone you would want to do more than a few hours with, don't worry about what others are doing or paying- it's clearly not for you anyways.

I have done this before. It is very important that you first have some level of knowledge about this person. /we actually did a show at a Casino and spent the rest of the night gambling and having a blast. I do not try and quantify it by how many times I can have sex or how many hours I am awake versus what I paid. I look at the whole experience and then decide if it was worth it. The answer is hell yes.

Some of my friends think I was crazy for doing it, but others think it was a steal. All that matters is that we both will have something great to remember each other by.

Now if you are going to complain about a person who pays multiple thousands to see a porn star then I might agree with you. But like the title says different strokes for different folks.

I agree with Marere4's thought process on this. From the client side I feel that with some providers an hour is enough, others 2 is perfect, some I like intimate time and a dinner or lunch as I enjoy their company and not just the typical hobbiest menu. There is one provider who I have spent a few overnights with ---fortunately it has not always been about costs, as sometimes I have been the last outcall of the night and we really hit it off together and to my surprise (and pleasure) she has stayed ( i guess that would be the true definition of GFE). I have always compensated to a large degree during these times but it was never planned or asked for. I just feel more comfortable. Easier for me when money is involved as it separates the emotional element which otherwise could be there.
One thing that is sure - there is a HUGE difference between Indy's and Agencies when it comes to a 12 or 24 or longer "date".  All of my longer exeperiences have been with Indy's. All have been with providers I have known for a long time (a couple of years or more). In fact, my favorite is a Sugar Baby that "provides" from time to time when she needs the funds and is not "in love". For her its usually a three day encounter - casino, shopping, dining, gambling and of course lots of sex, some of it quite inspiring.... I guess like food, there's cheap fast food, good fast food, decent diner, moderate dining and all night gourmet dining...I kind of like each of those depending on the mood, my budget and the availability.

Breaking down the hourly rate of a 24 hour date and wondering if meal breaks are included is not what an extended date is all about.
I actually know quite a few ladies who won't do them, at least not until they know the guy, for just this reason. In my mind at least, once you go beyond a one or two hour date you are there because you want to spend time with the lady, not just her vagina.

Ok, so some of you clearly need to chug a chill pill (or read the post a bit more carefully). Seriously! I was just asking a question I was curious about. I didn't pass any judgment or anything, just analyzing it from my point of view. So, sorry if I hurt your personal feelings in any way, but that isn't a reason to get personal (I didn't).

Anyway, so what I gather from the responses is that most providers would rather have 10 single 1 hr appointments than spend 24 hrs with one person (I am sure there are some exceptions, but it seems that what many of the responses imply).

And for the record, I like most providers I spend time with and I can see myself hanging out with some of them  for an extended period of time. I just wouldn't want to pay for it, or at least not that much.

I've been on "civvie" dates that I couldn't wait for them to end.  I couldn't imagine being locked in that room of hell for 24 hours and have to keep up a facade.

Granted, the guy does say some stupid stuff ('you will probably have to sleep').  And he does come across as some sort of accountant sitting in front of his calculator.  But he does bring up an interesting topic that a couple of the providers here answered in an informational way.
But I'm disappointed in some of the responses by providers who labeled him as an undesirable cheapskate.  And to those lunatic White Knights, you make me and most other hobbyists ill with your slavish devotion to the ladies here.  Pathetic, hoping to pick up any tiny crumb of praise ...

I have not done an overnighter yet, but I plan to in the future.  I won't be able to do a 24-hr date, but it will be a 12-14 hour overnighter.  I want to do an extended date like that because I want to spend more time with the lady, and I don't want to  have to worry about the clock. I typically do 2-hour appointments , and I like the idea of doing an extended date.  I know that  it probably is sometimes difficult for a provider to be " on" for an extended time, but I don't even necessarily expect her to be "on" the whole night. I like the idea of the evening being more real, if that makes any sense.  I know this hobby is all about fantasy, but I'm one who likes some reality in my sessions. Maybe my being single has something to do with that, I don't know. I  want  my sessions to be as real as possible.  Since I normally can only hobby once per month , an overnight date is something I have to save for, and to me, an overnighter won't be all about sex, it's about spending time with a lady that I enjoy spending time with, without the rush of a ticking clock. Well, enough of my ramblings.

i wouldnt see someone for any amount for 24 hours unless i knew them.

i can give anyone an hour but there have been times when i've left after that hour was up even when i was offered my full rate to stay another hour.

i couldnt do it.
twice i've called friends of mine to come take over cuz the guys were ok, i just didnt like being with them.

sometimes the money isnt worth it to me.

but i see this guy's points definitely and i think a girl should only charge 4 or 5 times her hourly fee for an overnighter.

While I enjoy extended dates periodically and  I am fortunate enough that the money is not a prohibiting factor, I personally would not pay a woman 10 times her hourly rate to spend the entire day with her.

A point was made that some providers feel the need to be "on" the entire 24hrs. I can't speak for others, but my extended dates tend to be much more relaxed and flow much more naturally then a one hour date, done twenty four times in a row. An extended date that would require the lady in question to feel that she was on the clock the entire time would not be a date that I would have much interest in.

I doubt that many of us(guys that is) are capable of going more than four or five times a day. If it were just about the sex, I would rather schedule 5 seperate appointments with 5 different ladies, but sometimes you just enjoy someone's company and there is a certain intimacy that you develop that is missing in an hour or two encounter. but each to their own

I've spoken candidly with women that have done overnight or weekend dates with someone, and complained that they didn't really click, and how painfully long the date lasted.  That's probably not smart business, but i guess it happens.

I agree with you that I wouldn't consider an extended date with someone I didn't know I'd get along with.  That would have real potential for disaster.  I've told a few ladies that she didn't need to do the hair & makeup thing for my benefit, knowing that she's natually attractive to me.  Even so, "on" can mean nothing more than being with me, as opposed to the laundry list of other things she could be doing if I wasn't paying for her time.

....at 48, I don't have time to 'hang out for extended periods of time' with ANYONE....Plus, the older I get, the more valuable my time becomes. As for your original post, xy, it was the attitude and tone that hit a wrong note, not your question.
