Im sure they'd notice by now if its the case of fraud..

but I have been thinking of seeing this one provider in NYC who has many 8-9's 9-9's but then here and there a low score (5-5, 5-6. etc.).  In the low score reviews, the hobbiest expresses some surprise at the overall high scores.  SO, I figure to have a look at the other reviews for the high scores and guess what, only one review!  This escort has 3 pages of reviews, but many of them from hobbiests that have only seen her once (or twice) WITH NO OTHER REVIEWS (edit added here).

So obviously she is posting her own reviews or at least it would appear to be the case.

Should TER be signaled to this?  She is taking advantage of TER overall high scores to create business.

Mind you, this is not the new provider with her first 'fake' review, but one who has been around and to make up for slipping ratings, if faking at least 6-9 reviews in the last year or so.

-- Modified on 1/2/2006 9:26:17 AM

Why so coy?

Drop the other shoe and name the provider.

She's not going to know that you're xenopus when you eventually get around to booking an appointment with her. unles you make your appointments with your username?

...I never thought of that could possibly explain this situation), then I will have ruined her rep...I was hoping staff would chime in on this.  I guess I still believe in 'innocent until proven guilty or removed by staff.'

At the Top of the page..I will tell you this..They will investigate and remove FAKES!!

It's sad whn providers write their own reviews...
But it happens all the time..I have seen providers write reviews on other providers..maliciously...Whether you steal, cheat or lie..it all comes back to haunt you!!
I believe your CREDIBILITY is your BEST ASSset..well one of them!!! :)

We should always check the review records of reviewers. It is not only for uncovering questionable reviewers, you can also get an idea on their rating standards.

You say, "many of them [reviews are]from hobbiests that have only seen her once (or twice)."

Most of my reviews are for ladies I've only seen once. What's the problem? Now, on the other hand, if many of her reviews are written by someone who has WRITTEN only one review, that's a different story. Is that what you meant to say?

...that it is their ONLY review.  My mistake. Thanks ellobo.

give a score consistant with the prevailing scores - Occasionally I have given a lower score -3-4 points lower - but in those instanaces I could be very specific about the reason for the lower score...  And while I tend to look at those low scores on providers with some skepticism... I know that they probably are there for a reason...

But thanks... I think that the system works as long as folks are honest - but even if they are not - they are usually found out.

I have often wondered if it is "kosher" to write a second review of a provider after a proper period has passed (one year?) in order to follow up and see if the original (most likely good) review is still warranted.  Or is this just using up perfectly good internet space?

I have clients who saw me dozens of times and the newer review is the only one showing on their list of reviewed girls.
TER substitutes the older with the newer on the guys list but, on the providers profile, they keep all of them.

I can't remember who, but the other day I looked at a review, then clicked on the reviewer's name and he'd reviewed the provider twice.

Landem2460 reads

that is how it's supposed to work - and as MealTicket points out, that's what Rule 8 says. And MOST of the time it does.

BUT as Hardwood points out, there are cases where two reviews by the same reviewer appear in a lady's profile. Whether it's a software glitch or something deeper I do not know, but there are many, many instances where a new review by the same reviewer does not delete the older one.

8.   You may also submit an update on a provider that you have already reviewed. We will replace your old review, but you won’t be credited for an additional 15 days. Your new review must be a complete rewrite that adds something new to the experience in order for it to replace the old one.

and a 2nd review could vary for lots or reasons, including random variability (good/bad days either time) and the fact that people change over time - they become more experienced, lazier, go on drugs or otherwise lose interest, etc.

I can think of a well-known provider who has changed over the years.

Life just changes, ya know?

I'm sorry, guys, I understand your need for accuracy. I really do.  However, why don't you just email the lady and ask her first. See what her explanation is (if you must, instead of just passing her up). She may have had really "off" days when she was reviewed badly. Or, perhaps, maybe someone doesn't like her and put up bad or fake reviews on her. I have to admit mine are pretty darn accurate, but that doesn't mean that some people are either too easily disappointed once the fantasy is over or they are overzeolous in their affirmation of the session. We don't know what happened, but give her a chance.

why not post in on NYC board instead. Again, a witchhunt. Heres to 2006 and trolling idiots.

Whether initial your motive was good or bad, it sounds like a valid issue.

Notice that I did not state the providers name or site or TER listing.  I purposely avoided a witch hunt which seems to have completely missed the Ciaras.  You go figure---lots of 9s and 10s by hobbiests who have only her as their review and NO other?  Witch hunt...NOT.  But it does raise a point as to how many bogus reviews are out there and whether TER should check on this sort of thing more regularly...hmmm.

I have seen many providers of which I have chosen to review a few.  I consider this returning the good service that TER provides.  I would like not to be duped by providers faking their own reviews.

I believe the other Ciara and myself are just tired of some people always looking for something fraudulent in this business, and it inevitably falls back on the provider. You should know me by now that I always stand up for the underdog. It gets tiring, that's all. You do whatever makes you feel good, hon. I just think the same should be done with hobbyists. Touche'!  And yes, my reviews are "real"!

trade information.  This is the hobbyist's Better Business Bureau.  Hobbying is full of rip-off artists, scams and cons, and that is the ONLY reason this site exists.

People who "are always looking for something fraudulent" are doing TER's work; that's exactly what the entire staff does.

If you look around for a moment, the vast majority of people here rally together to identify and eliminate every sort of fraud.   People have traded information to identify men who don't pay providers; and the staff does everything they can to identify men who post false reviews.

This is impossible if you dismiss questions without review or investigation.   We aren't here for a kaffee-klatsch; we're here for the purpose of making hobbying more reliable and predictable, by eliminating the BSers.

Nobody is accusing you of fraud.  If most fraud comes down on the providers, it's because of the nature of the site:  it serves the effect of marketing providers, who can make a lot of money from it.  Fraud providers eventually hurt the good providers, just as a poor professional reflects on the reputation of good ones, unless there is some way to distinguish.

Whether this report is correct or not can only be determined by investigation; and trying to shut this guy up because you don't like the question is harmful to everybody, yourself included.

You, and everybody with a 2 digit IQ, should know all of this already. So try to think before you run your mouth, OK?

what you were saying. And yes, I agree with you on many accounts. It's our rights as providers to post on this board, too, even though we get bashed as well as hobbyists. However, your sixth and seventh paragraph shows lack of class on your part and completely destroyed your credibility, especially to those who know me personally. No one is bashing Xenopus and I've been on this board for a long time exchanging things with him (usually good), so please get off your "two-digit" (notice the correct grammar) moral horse. Some us are intelligent, educated people, but I guess you'll never find that out about me. You're too busy putting me down to read the part of my post that states, "I understand but" part.

has no room to talk about lack of class.

Nobody suspected you of fraud until you started trying to shut down questions about fraud.   Your being tired of the fact that this board exists to identify and publicize fraud is probably just another example of your habit of running your mouth before engaging your brain.   But of course I could be wrong - you could be trying to defend scamsters.

You are not doing anybody, yourself included, any favors by trying to shut up people with questions.

Again, read the post. I did not say (in any circumstances) that I was trying to shut someone up. I said to give the girl a chance, first, to explain herself. Gees! You only hear what you want to hear, Spock. Maybe you should have those ears tuned up for better reception or should I say "better perspectives." You're the one who is rude, my dear. out of it.

You were "tired of people looking for fraud...because it's so tiring".

There's only one possible reason for that post, is to pressure a person into withdrawing a question.

His question may be right or wrong or mistaken or not; but your attempt to pressure him into withdrawing it has only one explanation:  you put your own personal feelings ahead of the TER objectives, even if it has the effect of making it easier for frauds.  I don't think you're involved in fraud, I think you're just dumb.

You complain about your own feelings, while you are trying to dump on a person for raising a legitimate question.  If he does what you want, he's gonna keep his mouth shut and make it easier for scams.  I don't think that will benefit you; I think you're just shooting your mouth off, and then complaining when other people note how thoughtless your comment was.

How about thinking before you shoot your mouth off?  Is that too much to ask?

It's pointless talking to a non-human being. I said, again, "take it up with TER" and first "give the girl a chance." That has nothing to do with not allowing him to ask questions. Whatever, you feel however you are going to feel. It's obvious this will never be resolved with you and I've been getting many PM's from guys saying, "Just ignore the idiot!" They're right!

Maybe you were just sharing, but it sounds to me like the sole purpose of your original post was to be pissy with a guy who did nothing to deserve it.

Being a provider who deigns to honor us plebes with her presence does not exempt you from the usual expectations of courtesy, moderate intelligence, etc.

So I'm thinking you don't have a whole lot of room to talk to Mister Spock about manners.

Please don't let the ignorant, arrogant cowards who respond behind alias's get you down.

They are small minded people who don't have the courage to stand up in front of us and stand by their convictions.
They are rude, small, shallow and weak.
They talk about fraud, cons, deceit on the part of the providers when they are perpetrating the same by their hiding their true selves behind the alias.

Just let them have their rants.
They are not even worth responding to, all you get is more crap from them.
It takes a real quality person to bash everyone else while hiding themselves, talk about "two digit" IQ.

I'm sure it was directed at me, and even after I explained "witch hunt" to him. Gees! I say one word giving the meaning of the old days, and the other Ciara agreed with me and then merely said "give the girl a chance." I didn't say that reviews shouldn't be looked into by TER, but some ladies actually have differentiating scores. Other people agreed with that too. But I was obviously sought after (again "witchhunt for me"). People will always read into something, and I find it humorous and sad that those people are bashing me (and only me) for posting about something with a different viewpoint. Suddenly I'm fraudelent, stupid?  Gees! What inconsiderate, rude men on this board. I really thought the hobby had come further than this, but I realize now why some of us are going to a private board where we have to be invited to be on it by the older, more wiser TER members. Thanks Bob and Mr. Fisher. Bye everyone!

"'two-digit' (notice the correct grammar)"

Good catch. Compound adjectives are hyphenated and nos. under ten are spelled out.

I would be more suspect of someone who had nothing but "great" numbers.

Everyone is different.
Everyone has different tastes and not everyone is going to come away from the same lady with the same "impression".
And as has been stated, she could be one who has "down"days.

Don't get to worked up over the numbers.

I know of a very popular lady where i"m from who was in great demand.
She had mostly great review numbers, but occasionally someone would throw a 5 or 6.
Because I knew her, we talked about them.
Most of the time she could have rated him the same.
Occasionally, she would admit that she was having an "off" day and should have passed on the appointment, but felt obligated to keep it.
So, just look at the numbers with a grain of salt.
If she interests you, followup and do your research.

And remember, everyone reviews the ladies differently, based on his own "values".

Just my opinion...

Most guys hate writing, or aren't continuing members, or are too concerned for their privacy and think their handle could be traced too easily to them.  They aren't going to write a review unless a tryster really impresses them, or we all hope, when she's a total rip off.

Meanwhile, the guys who will review what they consider a mediocre session will probably review everybody.

I remember one favorite lady of mine got a review from a one-time reviewer.  I know for a fact this guy exists, because he contacted me by PM and asked questions about her beforehand. He could hardly write, his grammar and spelling were horrible, and I think the fact that he even wrote a review of her meant he was impressed.

Please remember Xen: lying and fraud are difficult to detect, and these charges are very serious.  I suggest that you move on to a different lady if you have suspicions from what you found, but suspicions are not proof.

Again, I did not out this person.  Notice there was no name, no TER url, nada! I was just airing an issue that needs to be thought about.

1-There are fake reviews there
2-It is suspicious that almost ALL this providers reviews that fall into the 9-10 category are by people that have ONLY reviewed her
3-The low scores state that they felt deceived-even wondered if it was the same lady.

I don't know about you, but when I put down $350 to $1000 for a well reviewed provider, I expect her reviews to be real.
But I did note that perhaps this is just the result of too much time on my hands.  Now I get back to work and won't bother to be so careful for awhile.

responding to others' posts as well. I read all of them before I decided to post under the main post (your's). I just wanted people not to take these reviews so literally. Some ladies do get a 5 or 6 because the guys were possibly not as attracted to her as "maybe" another guy was to her. I don't think everything on TER has to be analyzed to death, but I understand your complaint. But instead, ask TER about it. You know I've gotten a few 7's that I didn't think I deserved and then some guy rates me as a 10. You just never know in this busienss. If you're honest with yourself, you must admit that sometimes this board is kind of like a witch hunt against providers, and we're those people who are providing you guys with the services you probably don't get elsewhere. How ironic, eh? Wink!  Love your posts anyway, babe!

Hugs,
Ciara

Yes, I hope a lot of the reviews I read are real, too.  It would seem to me to be a hard campaign for a woman to orchestrate writing a bunch of fake reviews, but it can be done.  A lot of discounts/freebees perhaps.

However, you could compare her one-time reviewers to the proportion of them for other popular women in that locality, and see if you have a statistically significant difference.  Now, *that* would indicate something.

This sounds like a job for...

Although this does seem to be a 'data-mining' exercise right up Mathesar's alley, there is another way to deal with it.

Just ignore reviews from reviewers with only a few reviews. This tends to eliminate any self-postings done by providers, reviews by newbies with numeracy issues, and the occasional posting done by LE.

I certainly don't have one.

There was a thread on the LA Board discussing whether reviewers with many reviews should be given more weight than reviewers with few reviews. Guys with just a few reviews were really upset with that idea and I decided to weigh all reviews equally in my report.

I depend on TER and the sharp eyes of the readers to weed out fradulent reviews.

I require a minimum of 4 reviews in the last twelve months for my report. (Cala had 100 reviews in the last twelve months in my December report -- that is the current maximum.)

Obviously, the more reviews a provider has the less any given review will affect her averages. That is true of the one-year moving average that I compute and even more true of the "lifetime" averages that TER computes.

Everone will have to decide for himself how many reviews are enough (which is why I publish that number).

I do not currently attempt to track variance (although I could -- gathering the data is what takes time, the calculations are done using the computer). High ranked providers -- (9,9) or above -- cannot have a high variance in their numbers because they have no (or very few) low numbers. However, if a lower ranked lady's numbers are all over the map, at the very least it indicates that YMMV and you might rate her well above or well below her average scores.

Fraud can take many forms, and so can mistakes.   Your question is just that, a question; and that is what we are here for, is to sort things out, and you are doing us all a favor by raising the issue.

You did it exactly the right way - no names until the issue is resolved.  IMHO, if an investigation requires names, that should start with the staff.

The reason we are here is to make this hobby more predictable.  That benefits the good providers, but it's the hobbyists who pay for the site.  When you start taking flak just for asking questions, remember to check to see what that provider is being paid for.

sounding like you want it to be a good ol' boys club again -- where providers cannot post their opinions, too. Yes, TER was initially created for hobbyists. I will agree with you on that point, but just how many hobbyists would stick around if we didn't post and flirt with them? I think the majority would admit that they enjoy having us on the board and that we have a right to speak our minds like the men do on here. Yes, women have minds. If you don't think so, they you definitely don't want a true GFE. Read my post again, carefully, and realize the headline was a "catcher," then read that I merely suggested giving the girl a chance. Your post is that you are tired of people asking questions about fraud, and that the same questions should be asked of hobbyists.

The same questions ARE asked about hobbyists:  you're just tired of it all.

Well, thanks for sharing.  You are in no place to complain about people dumping on you, where you come out of the blue to shit on a man (ie, shit = unspecified complaint "we're tired" - of him doing EXACTLY what the site is here for) for asking a question.

You are doing exactly what you complain of.  That would not be so bad, except that you have no basis for your comments - ie, X is doing exactly what we're here for.

TER doesn't get its traffic from the discussion boards, it gets it from the reviews.   We have no way of knowing each other's role; and any statement on the discussion boards should be judged on its own merits, not who might be making it.

You are perfectly entitled to post what dumbass thought may cruise through your skull, and anybody else is perfectly entitled to point out that they are dumbass.

Hmm! That really shows intelligence on your part. Perhaps TER should ban you for explicit language. Read about that and then quote it, dear. You're a very rude vulcan. I'm glad my clientele do not consist of men like you. How boring and insulting that would be. But then again, my clientele/friends know me and don't bash me. Try reading my other posts, too. I play detective when I read reviews. Inadvertently, I benefited by being awarded many free VIP days for approved problem reports; they were not fraud-related problems -- over 20 days for the last 3 weeks. :-)

When I play detective I look for the type of review patterns that you described. When I see that excellent reviews are written by one-time reviewers, or those who only review ladies from the same agencies, I ignore them.

I don't want to be judgmental on the ladies; for many individual cases, there are probably be good explanantions for such a pattern, but I sense that there are a significant amount of frauds out there and I frequently wonder if I should report them to TER and let the staff decide.

Im sure they'd notice by now if its the case of fraud..

Within the last 2 weeks I submitted 2 problem reports on typos in the URL; they didn't even check the web sites.

I don't expect the staff to do a lot of crossing checking. It is difficult if they don't know exactly what they're looking for, but I do when I have a specific goal.

the whole point of TER is a cooperative association.  It is dead wrong to "assume" that a staff, however large and well-financed, is going to see everything.   ANY DOUBTS should be brought to attention of staff to investigate, and there is NO HARM in posting any question.  THAT IS WHY WE ARE HERE.

The hobby is full of scams, and every scam that we can eliminate makes it better for honest people.

If somebody doesn't like a post, they don't have to read it.  I'm sick & tired of people trying to pressure others not to post because of emotional reasons - they don't like the subject, their feelings might be hurt, etc. etc., and that is especially true when somebody tries to assert some sort of protected status instead of discussing the merits of an issue.

People who don't want possible scams discussed are promoting scams.

it is the logic of her statement.   Why would she get pissy at a person (eg, claim that a question was a witchhunt) who has a question, if another provider is for real?

Maybe she is suffering from a momentary lapse of sweetness and intelligence.  But that does not matter, we are not talking about her, we are talking about her post.

We should leave Ciara alone, as she should leave alone those hobbyists who have questions.

But the one thing that does disturb me is her feeling - which you seem to ratify - that she should be exempt from the rules she wants - that she can be pissy and illogical, but nobody else is entitled to say, "hey, why are you being pissy & illogical?"

I think that TER and many other associations depend on the free flow of information which she is trying to obstruct.  I do not think that is logical or wise.   Nor do I think it logical or wise to turn comments on a post into a personal accusation, as she has.

As the Americans would have it, what's good for the goose, is good for the gander.   Personal aspersions are not part of the program.  Let's keep it to the issue, ie, answer X's question (as eg Zin has done) instead of pissing on him.

If we have to piss on a poster, we should not be surprised when others piss back on us.  Providers are not exempt from the usual rules of logic, and yes, courtesy.

The citation of pissant violations of Strunk & White form by those who hardly observe those themselves is a classic illustration of a need to get personal instead of just dealing with X's question.

Let us not forget why we are here, and that is to make hobbying more reliable, not to indulge the emotions of 1 provider.

Thank you, sir.  Carry on, and don't let it happen again.

Honestly I was surprised at some of the vitriole here regarding my post.  I truly believe that it is NOT a witch hunt to make sure that the TER reviews are real.  It is obviously very difficult to verify such things but the situation I stumbled upon seemed rather suspicious.  My intentions were the opposite of a witch hunt.  When I see the occaisional low score, I figure it may have been an off day or a difficult to please client-in other words, I suspect the reviewer and not the provider.  Maybe she did not perform well because he had poor hygiene or was rude or scary!.  This is why I sometimes look at the other reviews of the reviewer.  It is in this manner that I stumbled upon the observations that all the 9-10s were from people who apparently only reviewed her--in otherwords, likely fake.  Not one from someone who had seen other providers.  I would think that this should have outraged other providers who 'work hard for the money' and understand that this is a 'service oriented' business for which their livelihood depends upon discerning clients choosing them.

Now that TER has existed for awhile, I think we loose sight of the fact that if it wasn't for this site, many of us (myself for certain) would have stayed on the sidelines for many years if forever.  Reading about the experiences posted as well as seeing the wisdom of some of the providers (Sedona of SD comes to mind for you old timers) made me realize that this is not some drug infested sleazy trade, but one that has interesting clients and providers, educated and caring.

I wish everyone a healthy and happy 2006.  But please, keep on your toes for the providers that abuse our fragile community here and of course (as I see time to time) be sure to alert our lovely ladies if there is a bad client on the prowl...we must all watch out for each other.

Yes, Sedona was a friend of mine, Xenopus, and would have understood what I was "trying" to say. Good luck to you in the future.

Hugs,
Ciara

You're getting the same treatment that anyone gets who questions the authenticity and accuracy of the reviews.  The reality is that any experienced hobbyists knows that many of the reviews are fake or inflated.  They have become more advertising than a real source of information.  I have been to numerous highly rated ladies who really are quite mediocre.  The performance ratings I trust, but not the appearance scores.  There are several highly rated women here who just don't look that good and there is obviously something wrong with the whole system for this to continue.  I've given up worrying about it, but you can see the kind of attacks you're going to get if you try and be honest about it.  Good luck.

Mister Spock3721 reads

inflated, as a means of expressing satisfaction.  The problem comes when we start expecting and needing BS as a political issue.

And inflation is fine - that is not what I think X was talking about.  I think he suspected a pattern that suggested outright fraud.

Whether he was right or not depends on investigation, and of course that is what we are here for.

I do not think anybody disagrees with that.  It's just that some people lose sight of that fact, and  discourage people by claiming the question hurts them emotionally, ie, "makes them tired" of questions about possible fraud.

People who are hurt by ideas need to stay at home, because life is too rough for them.   But these people are not really hurt by ideas; they are thoughtlessly using their own claim of emotional damage to politically manipulate other people in ways that damage the community.  It's pure thoughtlessness, and it should not be allowed to manipulate the TER community.

No one is trying to manipulate TER just because they have an opinion, but nice job trying to manipulate everyone on this board to hate a well-known and well-reviewed provider. You are a manipulator. Do not try fooling us older gals.

The prime directive - never interfere with the hobby itself - it is what it is.... and now for a few NEUTRAL observations:

Remember "Monster's Ball"?  One of the first scenes was an encounter with an escort - or in this case a whore - I think that we can all accurately say that the kid did not have a GFE in that scene....  quite the opposite - now - imagine that was you getting the service... how would you rate it?  think about it, no kissing (with or without tongue), no DATY, OSOG, only one position, no small talk - but Killer Bod!  so looks 8-10 - performance 2-3~?  Think about it....

One review is low?  how about this - I show up at a provider's incall....  she provides GFE according to all the reviews - 8-10 on performance...  what does she do with me ?  NO DFK, NO DATY, no multiple positions, OSOG!  I rate her at 5-6!  am I wrong; no - are the others correct - yes.  is this a case of YMMV?  don't know BUT what I neglected to say was that I worked out before I went to the incall and time got away from me - so I did not shower afterwards, nor did I brush my teeth - and I work with the city horticulture taking care of the trees and grass in public spaces....  Get the picture?  Smelly, dirty looking and maybe was 5-10 min late....   am I going to get the same service as a guy who comes in on time, smelling nice, no BO, no halitosis, and well groomed?  Probably not.

With respect to arguments on this board, everyone who is a member has a right to post: that is how this board and discussion works.  You post hopefully to get others to see things in a way that is different from their current thinking.  Nothing is wrong with that.  BUT - and it is a big but - think about the words you use, the construction of the sentences and the way in which you posit your view.  I would suggest that you write what it is you wish to state and then reread - out loud - the posting - does it sound angry?  is it likely to persuade the person?  will it make the person think less of you?  will it generate support for your view?  I know that the nature of e-communications is not such that we wish to do our own editing - but think about this - once the words are sent, you cannot call them back - as surely as a bullet from a gun cannot be pulled back once it has left the muzzle...

So post well my friends - and into the new year.......  may you find happiness and a superhero or two....  Swooosh!

I have one really bad review on my profile....it was someone who said I had a bizarre face and really bad teeth...

truth is...my teeth are offwhite and slightly crooked b/c they shifted when my wisdom teeth came in.

===============================

I have noticed that the nicest, cleanest gentlemen give me the highest scores and the men who come to me smelling and having lots of physical defects themselves expect me to be Cindy Crawford at my price.

Some guys roll their eyes and drum their fingers when I ask them question as part of the small talk and they go straight to grabbing the back of my head to push it down....

Some guys pay me the exact change including coins to avoid giving me extra but they are late, stay afterwards, have their phone ring and try to talk on it while in session and then have the nerve to call me paranoid when I duck into the bathroom esp when they have a camera phone

I think all hobbyists who are seeing a female for the first time should act like it is the first date to somone they want to have a long term relationship with

I have never met or seen you in person - and would not say that you had a bizarre face even if I had met you....   a little fuzzy perhaps - but not bizarre...  I, and for emphasis, I repeat, I am not the person described in my post.  Rather I am trying to get my fellow hobbiests to think about how they come to the door... heck - I am trying to loose weight to be more of what I think some sweet young lady might find a little more attractive.  So please - my attempt was to say - that the reviews are written in response to the encounter - but the encounter was the result of human chemistry...  and sometimes those chemicals can stink...

and I think you DO resemble cindy crawford - or at least from what I see on your web site!
