I'd like to address the whole issue of fooling around in the work place.

While I haven't personally gotten involved in this, I know of at least six people who have, and in all cases things have ended very badly with firings, law suits and lots of emotional bereavment.

So, to all of you who may or may not have beauty queens flashing their privates at you:

My working place: its a rather large room in a building, and its usually only 3 people there. What I had to deal with in the past was working with this ugly looking women than ran her mouth and consumed productive time. The third lady is usually there only half the day and works at another room. So, the contract of the annoying girl is over and this new hot looking girl just moved in. I'll tell you a bit more as soon as I inform you about my previous co-worker. She was annoying. She made work unproductive, and tried to defend reasons that were ridiculous. For example, sometimes, she doesn't show up to work with the proper research and data. Then, during our discussion, she'll make impromptu information and try to defend the credibility of it. It was ridiculous with this women. Another factor, when I present the outlines for the work, she would constantly interrupt me. I never get to finish a section of the outline without her opening her mouth. And the majority of the time, it is something that is unproductive and annoying. Sometimes I thought, the best thing for her to do is to just STFU and not interrupt people, and show some dame courtesy and professionalism.

Anyways, she gone. So, this hot chic move in about 3 weeks ago. And its a 4 year contract, so I'll be seeing her everyday. To the people that read my post. Regarding the first post about taking a dump: yes, it did happened. Things happen, I don't have insight knowledge about situations that I haven't been exposed to. The 1st one developed into a 7-yr relationship & we continued to work together as we lived together.  In fact, as a team, we were so good at what we did, we were re-located twice (3 stores total) to re-instate stores' production operating from red to black financial figures.  Our relationship was highly grounds for dismissal, but again, we were damn good, & this was over-looked & treated as so it didn't exist, & kept very hush-hush.  During our 5th year, we even made a career change, as one of our employees saw our talent & wanted him to work for his father, at which point we confessed our relationship & moved to another city, as his father hired us both.  So, despite spending nearly every single minute of every day together, our relationship worked out fine for 7 yrs, but everything must end (& it was not work-related).

The 2nd one was just a fling that lasted maybe a couple months.  Perhaps our individual personal lives were attached to another in a way strong enough to prevent emotional stress on one another once the affair fizzled out, while still having to continue working together.  I consider this outcome fortunate, as it could have become emotionally taxing, & again, was against company policy.

The 3rd one resulted in disaster, catastrophic in intensity.  I resisted this relationship in the beginning, but he said, "How do you know if you're going to pass up fate if you don't even give it a shot?  It could turn out to be life-altering."  Boy he was right about the latter... life-altering to say the least!  It ended with my heart broken as he flaunted his new relationship in my face on a daily basis; one that had already begun before our was broken off.  It was quite painful & definitely interfered with my work efficiency.  Incidentally, he got fired for fraternizing with co-workers, though he was our boss (hers & mine).  Gotta love that instant karma, is how I felt then, but realize now I was no better than him.

On one hand it's not worth the risk of repercussion.  On the other, it is, & who knows if you're passing up the chance of a lifetime?  One never knows until after the fact.  I do know that crazy-lust will blind your rational side which contains all better judgement.  So as an outsider, I say get used to taking a cold shower, b/c these next 4 yrs are gonna' be long, hot ones & good jobs are hard to find!
