I like nice smells, but I don't want to drive away with perfume stuck in my nose and all over my skin.  I would suggest to use it sparingly.  Even though you can't smell it (because its already stuck in your nose), you will most likely still linger of the nice perfumes when only a little is used.  Thats my 2 cents.

Perfume is really easy to trasfer the scent.

My thoughts are to ask and see if the guy is married or not. Sometimes it's not an easy question to bring up.
But if you know the guy isn't married, it shouldn't be a problem to "squirt".

If the guy is married or you aren't sure, don't "squirt"
It's better to be safe.

I'd suggest if you don't know or aren't sure, use scented soap and shampoo which is much harder to transfer the scent.
When you're close, the guy will be able to lightly smell it...

I use lotion that has a very clean pleasant scent, instead of perfume. It leaves my skin smelling very pleasant, but doesn't rub off on the guy to leave a telltale scent behind that might get him into trouble

More seriously, mild perfume to me is ok - but ladies can smell another lady a mile off - I swear it is like the finest radar in the world....   even if I had been in a business meeting with a woman... my ex could spot that I had been around another woman....   go figure.

Nice clean smell, but no perfume or strong smelling lotion, please.

I have seen some women that may not use perfume but do use a very strong lotion on their skin to make it softer.  I appreciate the softness, but sometimes getting the scent off is difficult, since hopefully you have a lot of skin to skin going on.

Nothing is more erotic than the natural "scent of a woman."  One of the most romantic non "X" rated scenes in that film was DeNero dancing with the lovely woman waiting for her date.  He,blind,  detected her simply from her scent.  So, for me, freshly showered, shampooed, and radiating her natural pheremones is the way to go.  Do you have any idea how wonderful fragrances you exude all given by nature?  Rely on it to fill our fantasies and stay with us long after you're gone.  It's intoxicating!
