I asked LittlePhil, and this is what he had say on the topic..."I don't have a fucking clue."  Is he somehow related to MP67?  And just to clarify, LittlePhil, was genuinely disappointed, that he couldnt somehow help.  He couldnt have been nicer!

I've posted the error message at the bottom of the page.

F.Y.I.  I'm not having any other issues, with any other sites, in any other way.

I've tried opening up TER in a different browser and that didnt work either.

The "search" issue, is the ONLY problem I am having within TER.  All other functions, and areas within TER, are fully operational with quick and easy access.

So is this a TER issue, or is this coming from my end?

If its coming from end, how do I fix it?

How do I prevent it from happening again?

How did it happen in the first place?

Did this happen, because I secretly fed our family dog, my brussels sprouts underneath the dinner table?  My mom was always saying "bad things happen, to people who dont eat their vegetables".  Thanks Mom!

Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0 error '80040e31'

Query timeout expired

Its a TER problem, and it's the same error many of us got when TER had the big hit a few weeks ago, and really went Tango-Unifor (TU or "tits up", as in dead).

Essentialy the SQL (used by the databas) server which handles your query did not get a response back in the alloted time and pitched a bitch fit.

Since I can search, you should be able too. It was probably a brief hiccup or something (such as the SQL service) was restarted at the server end.

As for "bad things happen, to people who dont eat their vegetables". The bad thing that will happen is (for some dogs) VERY BAD doggie gas - ewwwww!

Of course, never ever grapes, raisins or chocolate (dark/baker's chocolate is the worst).

Questions 1-4 I have no clue
Question 5 begs the question, Your dog would eat brussels sprouts!!!!????

Finally, Don't believe everything your mother told you.

Thanks for the post.

I did the same thing as you, and Googled the error message.  That stuffs like reading another language, well, because basically it is another language!

If I talked to people outside of my field, in full field terminology, they wouldnt understand half of what I said.

And yes, our family dog would eat brussels sprouts, among various other, weird and nasty things.  God, he was a weird dog!  But gosh darnit it, you couldnt help, but NOT love him, even with all his weird, little idiosyncrasies, that's what made him, HIM!

In more common English. The Google response just confirmed what the replies above said. TER is taking too long to get back to you and the search timed out. Not much you can do except to possibly modify your search.
