I had sex with a civvy girl last night using a condom and it wasn't as good as being with a provider, because neither of us had lube! The condom dried out. Providers more often than not use a lube on me, then the condom goes over the top. I never honestly thought of it before, but when there is lube on me, then a condom over the top, it feels moist and warm against my skin even though I have the condom on. Never use a petroleum based lube (mineral oil, vaseline, ... read the labels) with latex condoms. The lube will weaken and dissolve the latex leading to problems mid-thrust. Always use water based lubes (KY, Astroglide) with latex.
There are many other options besides latex these days, so read the labels to know what you are using and follow the recommendations on the package. The condom package, not your package.

I am reading that any Oil based lube is a no no with latex like impposter said. Are you sure its safe with latex? I am also reading that women can get smelly after using oils as they can get rancid? Best I can tell is using a water based lube for latex and with out glycerine as it can cause yeast infections in women. I also read that silicone is good with latex, but can irritate some women, will react with silicone toys (not an issue for me, I dont use any) and is hard to clean out of sheets and clothing. Liquid Silk is the best option I am seeing so far?

I only use silicone lubes, they're safe with condoms but will ruin sex toys (so I use water-based with those lol). My favorite silicone lube is WET Platinum. Stays nice and wet forever! Literally until you wash it off lol
