you don't want to be with anyone who is turned off by your age. Many young ladies will not be comfortable with someone their grandfathers age. Then there are those who won't care I think its best to be up front that way less chance you will be disappointed.

I have a crazy question. I am 60 and have kept my hobbying to the more experienced women which I prefer   mmmmm............. I have had a desire though to try someone younger, 20 - 24 ish. When you talk to a provider for the first time should you ask if age matters? Or.... should you expect the young perky 20 year old to just say sure and not say a thing till they you see them?

Thanks

I'd would let them know up front your age and whatever else is relevant.. I do and am only in my mid 40's.. I even send a picture of myself because I am absolutely nothing to look at.. If I was a woman, I wouldn't want to be with someone who looks like me.. As it was stated here elsewhere.. No surprises.

Some providers will ask for your age, if she does tell her. If not, why say anything? Go and have fun. She's really more interested in your cash anyway and if she hesitates at all at the door, you can excuse yourself and say this doesn't look like it's going to work out. I've learned not to tell providers more than they ask for. Get into the habit of being too talky and you'll say something that turns her off or limits what she'll do with you. Go with the flow. If at 60 you feel too old or like someone's gramps, you'll convey that in all you do. Good fortune favors the prepared and confident mind.

Thre are many hobbyists 60+, and the 20-24 see there share of them.

If a lady has a hard boundary she will (or should) put it in her ad. I have seen one where she said she catered to "men 25-45."

On the flip side of the coin I see many provider who say in their ads that they "prefer older gentlemen." Also I have seen recent ads where they state a MINUMUM age of 30 or 35. This included on little asian bombshell at the tender (posted) age of 23!

The reason is that as clients, older guys are more kind, courteous, appreciative, and have less potential for drama of any sort. Add to that, their knowledge and life experience, which many young ladies say they appreciate, and you can start to realize that you ARE A DESIRABLE CLIENT!

Based on discussion I have had with ladies about age, here is what you should consider: limitations due to your health or medication. If you must take it easy, just tell the lady discreetly as you start the session, but reassure her all is well anyway.

You have a few years on me, but I'm still considered an "old guy" by women in their 20's. But I do enjoy the play with them and I have had great experiences along with invited to return.

Just be clean, well groomed, and there is no need to mention it ahead of time.

Providers shouldn't discriminate due to age or race.  Please.  You're paying them for a service, it should be consistent to men whether they are 30 or 60.  Just my 2 cents.

My first provider was 18 and I was 59 at the time.  I am now 63.  Most of my providers are between 25 and 40.  So far none has ever commented that my age is to old for her.

Yes, they are primarily interested in what's in the envelope than how old you are.  As has been already stated, most providers prefer older (35+) than younger, so your age of 60 should be of little consequence to most ladies you want to see.

Relax and enjoy.

If the contact form asks for the age, I will fill that in. Otherwise I do not describe myself at all.

I guess if one expects his appearance -- including age-related appearance -- would shock the provider, then perhaps he should disclose that information. But I don't think providers would be surprised by an old guy. In my case, giving out my age would confuse providers who typically think I am 20 years younger than my real age; sometimes I had to show my ID to prove it.

Whenever I contact a provider I don't know, I always give her my age so as to facilitate screening.   At 60, you are still at the height of your powers...if you wish to see a provider that is much younger...just go for it!  I'd bet bet most would see you without a problem.

Well, as a 23 year old provider, who just recently returning to providing on a limited basis, I can tell you based on my past experience and present viewpoint that for me personally, I have noted the hobbying demographic skews slightly older, and I do not think a gal in my age range would think twice about it, nor should you have to mention it.

However, in into emails, I always enjoy when a gent gives me a brief bio about himself, his hobby experience, his job, his hobbies, whatever he feels like sharing, as well as his personality or any general questions or concerns. So, it may be something that is requested by a provider, or mentioned by a gent, but not to screen you out or create an awkward situation in any way.

If a lady has restrictions- some women won't see younger gents, for example- I don;t go off age but rather communication, screening, etc., but if a lady won't see someone on the other end of the spectrum, or of a certain race (yes, a controversial issue, but related) she will generally state this plainly, or if she doesn't, I for one believe she should, but I can pretty much reassure you that the vast majority of providers in my age range (20-24 as you stated) will not have any qualms or concerns about that.

I'd say when I started providing, I believe I was 19 or 20, don't think I asked for age on my form though maybe I did, memory's a bit hazy since it has been awhile, but I am thinking that about half of guys mention their age as part of a general introduction email (form aside), but again it is not for the purpose of screening out or changing the approach of the date so much as just a piece of biographical info..

(Also, for screening, some like this for birth year to do a criminal background check- in my state, with age and name you can ensure that someone is not a registered sex offender or other related crimes).

But in short, while I've seen guys close to my age or even a year younger once(!) the majority I would say are 30s-50s, with a decent chunk of gents in their 60s and even 70s. You should definitely not let age get in the way of your enjoyment, nor your selection of providers- many of us enjoy older gents and would not think twice about that factor! Best of luck!

asked. It's never been an issue before and most of the providers I see are in their late 20's and early 30's. Don't worry about.

And I've never had the least problem with a young lady expressing or showing in any way that she thought I was too old lol.  More important that you are well groomed and clean, that you present yourself well, are outgoing and confident....

I prefer that gents give me a little information on themselves before I see them. Not necessarily for screening, just so that I can get to know them a little bit better.

I don't think many providers would have an issue at all. If you have physical limitations, you should definitely let your lady know! If you take any enhancing drugs, you would be wise to tell her before hand as well, more for your safety than anything else. I think you'll find that most ladies would love to see you (I'm 21 and love older gents) but they would be more comfortable if you told them before hand.

AGREED. If it is important to her, she needs to put it in her ad or at least ask upon contact. But in ad is best so as not to waste our and her time.

Yes, being invited to return is quite a 'turn-on' for me. It also shows that the age diff does not bother them,

Nor, quite honestly, a reasonable expectation.

You should expect that if a lady agrees to see you she will give you the kind and level of experience you expected based upon her advertizing and reviews.  That is an honest day’s work on her part.

However many ladies provide substantially over and above that to men they enjoy being with.  that may be young hardbody men or older gentlemen or redheaded men with beards who wear ascots. Completely their choice.  I do not typically refer to scripture in my posts here but in this case the parable of the vineyard owner who hired workers at different times of the day yet paid them all the same comes to mind:  if you get what she promised you have nothing to complain about if another man gets more.

Having said that many of the ladies I frequent like older men.  Only makes sense since I am in the 60-ish category and it would be dumb for me to frequent ladies who like hardbody youngsters, would it not?  I know very well they sometimes give me service over and above what is advertised or reviewed, just as I often give them additional considerations, usually not just more money.

This is the most "personal" business I know of and it is only logical to me that a lady who actually likes being with me will treat me better.  Finding out which ladies will probably like being with me and I with them is what reading reviews and the screening I do is all about.  If a lady I want to see is not into a balding slightly overweight man who cannot pretend to be a gymnast for hours on end I would want her to tell me prior to meeting her.  I usually say this to a new lady before I meet her and a couple have then declined to see me.  I do not hold that against them, quite the opposite, I appreciate their honesty.  Especially the one who then referred me to her older sister instead, a tremendous UTR lady.

I find most just will say they are 50-something or 60 or 60-something and ask if that's a problem....if it's nothing too strange I love when people are just blunt and come out with it. Usually though....a certain age is only a problem is she advertises it as so....on ads or sites a lady usually will put her age requirements if she has a thing about age.

Age doesn't bother me fyi more than just flat out having manners. You can be a d-bag or a nice guy at any age.
