There are definite risks involved. You don't know this woman. You are letting a stranger into your home. It's up to you but, FWIW, I did it once a couple of years ago and all I can remember thinking as the lovely lady walked back to her car at 2am was "Damn, what are the neighbors going to think?"
Honestly, I've never heard of a legitimate provider who would only go to private residences. If anything, it's often the exact opposite!
I would rather have the provider come to my place. Yes, they are strangers but I usually did the research on TER first and trust them enough to come on over. If the lady is for real, the LAST thing she is going to do is steal something from you. Although it's never been a problem anywhere, if you're at home, you know where the sheets, bedspreads, etc have been.
I've scheduled incalls that turned into outcalls and had no problem. I would rather not drive if I can avoid it. The biggest problem I have is that I'm a single guy and usually have to clean my place up before the lady gets there. As I once told a lady, I don't want to come across as a total slob, just a mini slob. I'm currently setting up a visit for next week and the reason it's next week is that my apartment needs a major cleaning and I don't have time this week.
As far as the neighbors are concerned, who cares! I'm single! Let the parade begin!

I can set a mood, light a few candles, get the place smellin nice, turn on some mood music with the surround system, maybe put on some porn on the 60" HD..............
I think encounters at the home are great, and I much prefer it to anything else; Unfortunately OUTCALL is more expensive, and I'm not rich, so...........

I DO make it a point, not to leave any small enticing items around, even though most providers are too classy to even consider taking something.
In my mind, when I get together with a provider in a hotel, I know I'm with a hooker. In my home, I don't. Cleaning the place up, washing the sheets, the music & candles, the mouthwash (lol). Shit, I didn't work this hard for real girlfriends. That says something.
Try it, you'll like it. Just make sure you stick with well reviewed women.
I don't bring strangers to my home. Before I bring someone I need to know enough about them to determine that I would want them there. Beyond that simple rule there are other aspects to this context. For example consider the unlikely but possible complications that might occur if for any reason the provider did not make it home from her visit. If you think that your neighbors might be curious about visit from a discreet lady, consider the effect of one or two squad cars in the driveway. Or perhaps she falls on your stairs and you have to call an ambulance (a circumstance that these days MANDATES that the police be called to your home and a statement taken). If you are not single perhaps she loses something at your place that you are unable to find, but is there somewhere waiting discovery by your SO. If you think creatively you can easily come up with more.
In general I keep my hobby as separate as practicable from my real life. Even so there have been some brushes between them, like bumping into one of my hobbying companions when out with a civilian lady. Increasing the opportunity for cross over as a matter of convenience seems unwise.

It is a much different experience, especially if it includes other activities such as dinner (in or out). I’ve found it very enjoyable, but only with ladies that I’ve known from previous encounters elsewhere. Unless the lady approaches the door in obvious tantalizing garb, the neighbors will not know if she is an escort or merely a friend that has stopped by for a drink and a chat.
totally agree w/imallin. i spend more time preparing the house, cleaning, new sheets, shower, shave, brush, candles, gift bag, to me a real 'date', as the beatles said in "the end" ..the love you take is = to the love you make...
It may be your are in contact with a girl who is concerned about risk in hotels.
LE seldom uses private homes for stings. Whereas most LE stings are done in hotels.
Also, people inviting you into their home are less likely to take advantage of you or be a problem date. In the reverse I invite gentlemen into my home, and for that reason I tend to screen far more than when I'm on the road.
And personally while I do dates in hotels all the time, I really enjoy visiting gents homes. I remember one guy I dated had a jacuzzi. We drank some wine, and had a really memorable time!
But certainly you have to be in a situation where the neighbors are not observing - and as I discovered once when right in the middle of things his wife came home...
And my dears, if anything sucks worse that getting caught by your wife in bed with a hooker, it's getting caught with a Transsexual hooker...
